  1. Story and all associated aspects. Star Wars itself is great, and expanding the story into something as fresh as KOTOR was brilliant and a new life to Star Wars.
  2. Orders are given to military personel. When dictacted from a superior in the chain of command the order must be followed. In normal circumstances the Order may be ignored or disobeyed, but when clones are genetically designed to follow orders without question (Given few exceptions) there is little room for debate. Order 66 was a military order, one designed by and probably only known by Palpatine. The 66 was most likely a hidden protocol code in their brains. Essentially the code made all clones turn on all Jedi and to follow orders directly from Palpatine and his underlings.
  3. Blinded by the dark side was he. The Jedi order had to be exterminated...all the Jedi...leave a few and it could come back to haunt them...and it infact did come back to bite them in the ass with Obi-Wan, Yoda and the children Skywalker. A big stretch...not really, it was a great way to exemplify his turn to the dark side, to show how much he had fallen, to show the power of the dark side to taint an individual and twist them into a monster. It makes his redemption all that more meaningful later on.
  4. A long time ago I proposed a theory on how a SW game could and should work had it been done on a Wii. It would be brilliant.
  5. Could be just people taking screen movies from the game and adding in their own voices for comic effect...who knows.
  6. Kreia, being a former member of the council, would have taught a number a Jedi prior to her exile. Though her remark about failures would most likely refer to her Sith students. Who, nobody can really say, but it may be safe to assume that those 4 you mentioned were the only ones. What Kreia wanted was for more or less the destruction of the Force and none of her students accomplished that. She may have taught them in hopes that they would realize that the Force is merely a tool and does not guide them as is believed by the Jedi.
  7. "Not one damn person on the boat or reporting the news took geometry?" Not to mention the captains deck has instruments that tell your how level the ship is and what angle it[']s at.
  8. You call that a "zing"? That was almost a decade ago It appears that the qualifications for a good "zing" has also degraded...severly. Being younger than me, where exactly do you get off questioning my age, and rather my writing and analytical abilities? Go to college before you attack something you know nothing about.
  9. When I first heard this story it was only a 15 degree tilt, now its a 30 degree tilt? Not one damn person on the boat or reporting the news took geometry?
  10. I am not sure what you mean by "someone of moderate age"
  11. Not so much a subject but the actual work itself. I have always viewed fan fiction as a piece of work that is completely original or has a foundation with an established series or genre but the story itself is an alternate telling, extended version or a bridge to gap spots of the story left out. For example, when I first became aware of fan fiction was way back in the days of Dragonball Z and cruising forums. People would take characters, main and sub, and create alternate scenarios for the events that happened, essentially taking the characters already created and using them to tell a new story. Or how I would prefer, a complete original work. Creating your own characters, stories, scenarios and events and making a story with influence from various sources. It is creative writing in its purest form. Sometimes with these original scenarios the person who started the idea would post the basics of the world in which it takes place, the characters/classes/species/etc. and they would write only so much for the story and leave it open. From there another person would pick up the story and do some more work how they wanted to, and so forth. There was a certain pride that went along with writing fan fictions, people used it to explore their own creativity and connect with others who had similar ideas. I for one write my own stories, and as I gain more technology I visualize my creations as movies I can one day make.
  12. My...the world has changed. Fair enough.
  13. Where does it say that fan fiction can't be written in a creative manner? Maybe the idea of fan fiction has been degraded over these past years, but I remember long ago of fan fiction writers actually taking pride in their work, alot of whom produced excellent results.
  14. Oh I can grasp the idea, but what I can't grasp is why anyone would want to half ass their work just because its "fan fiction", it is an insult to creative writers all over.
  15. Who am I? Someone who has studied creative and analytical writing for years. If you took the time to read what chos echo wrote, you would see it shows enthusiasm which is very good, but lacks the creativity and solid structure needed for a successful fan creation. This is evidence that there is lack of experience with creativity, but it is not chos echo's fault, from his profile he is only 11 years old, which is an age where the skills needed for making a solid piece of fan fiction are just not available. Its not being un-sympathetic, its criticism. Not to mention the fact that there are no decent videos of Sion that could make a solid video and portray a story. It would be just as crappy as that Atton Fan girl video.
  16. Sion doesn't deserve a fan film, there is no back story to make it interesting at all and you have to be creative to make one up, which from your "idea", you are not. Heres a bit of advice, never write a fan fiction about Star Wars. Your lack of understanding and comprehension, as well as compiling characters for a story is terrible and you would just be wasting your time. Fan Fiction writing for a series is among one of the most difficult things style wise and you need the education to be able to properly do it. Maybe if you have some artistic ability you can make a short comic about Sion and before all that, get a better understanding of story and plot development.
  17. Truthfully I think that Lucas Arts needs to strike up a deal with Nintendo for a motion sensor SW game (I proposed the idea a few months back in a topic). Seeing that Nintendo will be more successful than any other current company in the fields on motion sensors and interaction for home consoles and honestly has the most potential and creativity, its the best choice. Using the new controller for the Wii, a first person game could be designed (Similar to Elder Scrolls or Might and Magic concept wise) in which the main controller acts as your lightsaber, vibrosword, blaster or even activates/aims Force powers while the other smaller part can be used to cycle through force powers and various items. Not only does my idea have the potential for being one of the greatest and most innovative SW games ever, but it would not be difficult to produce seeing that the technology is present and able. It also opens the way for a whole new SW Story that can break away with some solid creativity. Story wise, I would like to see full character progression as a Jedi, Starting your training as a youngling and working your way up to Knight and Master. Or Sith Lord and being able to fight and ultimately strike down your Jedi master among other Jedi. With this I would also like to have age progression, Class progression alone is dull and boring. Going through the actual Jedi Trials and having non linear missions on many planets. To not run with this idea is ignorance on behalf of LucasArts and Nintendo.
  18. Thats only the most common interpretation. The fact is, if the whole scene with Greedo was cut out completely, so when Chewbacca, Obi-wan and Luke left, it cuts to them right outside talking about selling the speeder, it wouldn't even matter. Change Han's line a little later to Jabba about "not sending your goons after me" or what not and nobody would be the wiser and Greedo would never exist. So it would make no difference at all and no reason to cry over. But thats just a fact.
  19. I never quite understood why people make a fuss about it. I've read about the subject, seen the differences and it does not provide a good enough reason for hardcore fanboys to keep getting aneurisms over.
  20. Really you can't redo the original films other than the nice editing job they already did with the 2004 re-releases. The re-casting alone would destroy the films and undoubtably the story for all the works related to, that were done with the original casts likeness'. Not to mention without Alec Guiness it just wouldn't seem right, there has never been a more perfect casting decision than Guiness as Obi-Wan. Although if it did happen, I wouldn't complain, if someone has the balls...go for it.
  21. The endings for LS and DS are not the same, but slightly different to the point where its distinguishable but not impressive.
  22. If we told you what you missed, it would make you want to play the game through a few more times anyways. If you want to know some major things you might have missed that I also missed on my first time through, read below... Influence is tricky, as talking to, helping or not helping certain people will gain you or lose you influence with your players.
  23. Read into it how you want. I can't be blamed for speaking the truth about your hidden gay agenda. Remember, Jesus is watching...
  24. Oh, my intent was not to provoke, but to shoot down and hopefully prevent any self-righteous individual from expressing desire to include an unfounded and ridiculous ideal into kotor as to make it a martyr for a some extremist cause.
