  1. Hard to say. I liked Bloodlines because it was a universe I was completely unfamiliar with. I like KOTOR 2 because lets me play in a Universe that I like and am familiar with. Bloodlines easily has one of the coolest missions I have ever seen, in ANY game. I thought Bloodlines got off to a really, really good start....but the ending was perhaps a bit too combat oriented (although aren't all RPG endings like this now?). Given my experience in Bloodlines, I would still pay $50 for the game (providing of course I didn't actually know the details of the plot, but just knew how much fun I would have in the game). For what it's worth :\ No drow, nor orcs. Just Vamps, the associated other dark creatures (ghouls, werewolves), and cattle---errr...humans.
  2. Oh I know. I HAVE played the game. Apparently my current campaign has me moving into the France Area taking on those pesky Gauls. I've about made a border with those unforunate Britons.
  3. How could I have missed that? Mmmm,norks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tiffany Amber-Thiessen was a babe!!!
  4. He did have longer summers later in his career than earlier
  5. @Eddo Be wary with the instakills like the bottomless pits though. No one wants to be the recipent and watch their PC die because the enemy decides to force push them at that moment. I like the ideas about combatants taking cover and perhaps getting bonuses to their defense. As long as it remains primarily in control of the ruleset and not individual player skills, things could work...and I find your suggestions do adhere to this.
  6. *applause* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perhaps he's the one mentioned in the prophecy about games not being dumbed down, and not me (J.E. Sawyer vs Allan Schumacher.....it's easy to make a mistake like that).
  7. There was one game stopping bug that I encountered at the end of the game (although I found out later it went away when I quit and reloaded the game), but I didn't have any problems aside from that in Bloodlines. (EDIT: Sometimes the leather jacket of the Ventrue would get all funny and clip through my character, which just looked really, really wierd). Even though I do have a good computer which would have minimized the memory leak, I doubt having a good computer is going to make most bugs disappear. For what it's worth Metadigital, I enjoyed the game enough that despite my game stopping bug, I had no problems immediately starting a new character and playing through the game again. Fortunately at the time there was a pretty good fan-patch that fixed the game stopping bug. I haven't played the game with the patch (since I was "done" playing it by that time), but from what it looks like it mostly did what the fan patch had done. But I found KOTOR 2 to be much more buggy than Bloodlines.
  8. I really, really was disappointed in the demo I had played.
  9. I should start playing that again. I got distracted by school so I haven't even really played it.
  10. Not to mention the plethora of players that are waaaaaaay below
  11. I don't care for Fighting Games any more. Street Fighter EX Gamma Omega Epsilons Squared to the root of PI vs Marvel 2.5/3 Delta Phi Slamma Jamma caused me to lose interest
  12. "Cause you gotta have faith" doo doo doo, doo doo
  13. I like the Ron Livingston-Carth comparison. I enjoyed Livingston in Office Space and Band of Brothers.
  14. I'd wish you luck. But I don't think you need any
  15. Carrying on then Have fun on your trip.
  16. A Dragunov at that range and they still didnt hit?! your average yearold could do the wilhelm tell trick at twice that range with that rifle.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well they hit, but as you can see the guy just got back up. But Dragunov being a sniper rifle, perhaps aiming for the head would have proved more efficient. Thankfully, extremists aren't that bright... or just really crappy shots. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wouldn't a sniper rifle likely have a better chance at scoring a hit at that range through armor than most other small arms?
  17. We're hoping that if we use it enough, someone with a very good sense of humour that runs the boards will actually change the UBB to support it :darque:
  18. I guess the member count of T.O.M.B.S. is higher than I anticipated then
  19. I'd bet sitting down would be less than comfortable for that soldier, given the defecation in his drawers.
  20. I've heard that 3D Engine Programmers get paid more money on average, because they are more rare and probably have a more difficult job. (nothing like whipping out the assembly optimizations :D)
  21. Oh, well that's no biggie. I was worried you were being denied by some technical problem. The games WILL come
  22. Can't help you with Firefox. But why can't you play anything?
