  1. I hated that type of thing. It's almost as bad as making a single story canon. I say you just KILL 'EM ALL.
  2. Now my story is finished, I've had time to read hawk's, so here's what I think. Well, the main problem I have is Vandar's return. Vandar clearly died in KotOR 1 if you went DS. No way to escape that. You see him calmly on the bridge with Dodonna saying the battle is lost, right before his ship explodes. I think the DS convo in KotOR 2 about him being on Katarr or whatever was just a mistake. Either way Vandar's dead. I'd like to have a party member of Vandar/Yoda/Yaddle's species, but it can't be Vandar. He's too dead. I'm not going to complain about the spy thing, I trust you have some stuff under your sleeve. Although it seems bizarre the Jedi would send an apparent powerhouse Jedi Guardian like Trisha to do spy work. I think there's some problems with Revan because he/she would have to have a face, voice and gender defined, it would be very complicated. Oh and Bao-Dur and Handmaiden as Masters doesn't work. Bao-Dur can go evil in KotOR 2, so he wouldn't join the Jedi like that. And Handmaiden might not have even been met, never mind turned into a Jedi. It sounds interesting so far, despite a few little plot-holes. But a little more detail about these holocrons would help.
  3. Here's the last part of my story. BACKLOG: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=35628 - part 1-5 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=105 - Part 6 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=150 - Part 7 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=465 - part 8 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35818&st=135 - part 9 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35818&st=150 - part 10 Anyway, here's the final part. -------------------------------------- Part 11 -------------------------------------- The Ebon Hawk flies towards the Throne of Naga Sadow. Light siders will have Ben tell them that he has contacted the Republic and the Jedi and that they will be
  4. How can you write a sequel when you don't know the whole story that you want to continue? Even if you didn't want to play the game enough times to gain influence with everyone, to gain the complete plot and backgrounds, then you could have searched the fora for summaries. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've read a few FAQs and stuff, but I never gathered anything like that from what they said, I didn't think GOTO had that much to share. Dang it. What does that have to do with HAL? I thought HAL simply didn't want to die. Either way, let's pretend that the Overseer was someone else. *cough*
  5. Seriously? I never bothered getting influence with Goto. Crap.

As it nears a huge sinkhole, a huge proton missile fires out and drops onto the Ebon Hawk, the vessel is knocked by the blast and hits the floor, sliding along, it comes to a stop. You start playing inside the Ebon Hawk, you are told that there isn

The bridge city also named Cato Neimoidia is populated by Neimoidians and Duros. The city is very high-tech, the races there plan on spreading and creating more bridge cities across the planet. Through exploring the city, you can find out that there is an old temple in the nearby mountain. It is described as being associated with
  8. That's actually kind of a neat idea. I'm sorry, when I came up with the whole twins thing, I couldn't resist something like that. I thought of famous historical siblings. Hmm. I guess I can't really argue with you there. Really? I thought the way they came back was kinda cool and non-KoTOR 1-ish. Don't worry about it. Maybe you could blame the placebo effect? " There would be sidequests a-plenty across these planets, I'm just not gonna go into detail about them all. All I'm doing is describing the main quests, and how to get the journals speedily. Well, thanks for reading, guys!
  9. I quite like these ideas, but I don't like how 'school' it all is. Oh and don't forget about how Visas can die. I did like the Nihilus/Exile thing, I thought about something like that myself. Back to my story now. BACKLOG: Page 1 - Part 1-5 http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=105 - Part 6. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=150 - Part 7 For the record, if you play female, you can romance Dustil and Darth Aumen. And if you play male you can romance Alora and Darth Aumen. Anywho, here
  10. Some good points there. Well, Obi-Wan used the name Ben in the movies. Max, Mike and Martin I agree with you on though. The Master Dorak thing was kind of pointed out on the BioWare forums as has the KoTOR 1-ish intro. And for the record: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=105 Has part six. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?sh...ic=35628&st=150 Has part seven.
  11. Well, there is sidequests across these planets, and I like Tatooine. Although quite a few have complained about Tatooine. Money and EXP a plenty is in there. That's the point. Thanks for reading! Here's part 7 of my story as seen on Page 1 and 8. -------------------------------------- Part 7 -------------------------------------- The Ebon Hawk flies over the green plains of Naboo and lands in an artificial settlement. Upon leaving the ship, you are greeted by a Czerka corporation Twi
  12. Continued from the first post of page one... -------------------------------------- Part 6 -------------------------------------- The Ebon Hawk lands in Anchorhead once again, but now the Czerka corp. are nowhere to be seen, conversations with people will explain about the flawed mining plans and how Czerka have apparently set up operations on Naboo. Much Anchorhead is the same, although some has changed and some has shifted. The hunters lodge is now gone, in its place a small market. Yuka Laka
  13. Well, although I must admit that I am not too well versed on Naga Sadow, I just did a little research on him for the story. But my idea here, was that Naga Sadow spent some time in the Coruscant jungle rather than 'ruled' there, and I also figured this was before the Republic was there. I could easily be wrong on some SW history here though. Yup. I've been criticised for this on the BioWare forums too. I really liked that kind of beginning though. Well, Revan and the Exile's deaths are elaborated on somewhat a little later. There's nothing too grand, but it's not as quite as simple as 'Darth Kayne killed them'. Well, see, I find there are far too many variables in the KoTOR story, there's like 4 versions of each character, I felt it best to try and make this a 'fresher' story and distance it from them. It ties off some loose ends if they're just dead. It would be far too complicated to have a Revan/Exile DS/LS, M/F, etc. selector in the game. The idea was that he was getting old and losing his fighting ability. His time in the story seemed up to me too.Strangely, you're the first to complain about Canderous' position in the story. Hmm. I see your point there. Although no more wrong than Nar Shadaa being the same as it is 3900 and something years in the future. While I see your point here, I felt it best to just say "more Jedi came out of hiding". Although I may have benefited setting this further after KoTOR 2. EDIT: Argh, people posting while I was answering jediphile. Darn. As I said, I just did some basic research and didn't get any of this. I like this idea quite a lot, would you mind if I used it? Alderaan was basically Naboo. All grasslands and big architecture. And Utapau is a lot like Geonosis. And thanks for reading, guys.
  14. Thanks for reading and don't worry, I can take criticism. Cato Neimoidia was seen very briefly in Star Wars Episode III, and wasn't actually named in the film, so I didn't expect many to get that. It was were Plo Koon was shot down. http://www.starwars.com/databank/location/...a/img/eu_bg.jpg Terrain: Fog-shrouded tree-lined mountains; city-bridges It is a planet of misty mountains, with bridges that have cities on them. In my story, it only has one city bridge and is populated by Duros and Neimoidians. Utapau is the planet General Grievous was chased to in Episode III. The surface is rock and sand, and has sinkholes that the Utapauns live in. "Ringed by numerous moons, the remote sanctuary of Utapau is a planet pitted with enormous sinkholes. Its windswept surface is dry and desert-like, but deep in the porous crust, at the bottom of the sinkhole are pools of life-giving water. Many of the sinkholes on one of the planet's small continents are lined with intricate cities that stretch deep into caves and crevices beneath the planet's surface." -Star Wars Databank Climate: Temperate, windy and arid Terrain: Desert surface and sinkholes Hope that helps with Cato Neimoidia and Utapau. Tatooine, I can see your point on. Kamino should be quite different to Manaan and as far as I'm concerned, cloning doesn't exist in the time of KoTOR. Having a Yoda-species character would've been a good idea. Shame I didn't think of that. Yeah, having a Dxun Mandalorian would've been a REALLY good idea. I'm quite annoyed I didn't do that. I think KoTOR II covered the 'darker' story thing, and I thought it'd be good to go back to a more cheerful game.
