Hahaha that'd be awesome! BTW Nathaniel, you need to get someone to give you a more official rank. "Level 1" just doesn't cut it :D I liked Sawyer's Obsidz VIP, but perhaps something else if you prefer?

Hmmmm.. Not one to miss out on the story however..... :| If I'm feeling motivated I may import it, but I'll probably just get the local copy. But Farenheit is a better name that Indigo Prophecy IMO Decisions decisions....

New PS3 details emerge...
Just to make it clear, I'm not pro-anything. I don't buy consoles unless they serve some sort of purpose for me. I skipped PS2/XBOX/Gamecube altogether. The last consoles I've owned were the N64 and the PSX. As for the PC....things will continue much like they always will I suspect. Initially the consoles will be superior, but given the dynamic nature of PCs, before the next consoles come around the PC will again reclaim the throne, only to lose it when the next consoles come out.

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophcy Demo Released
One of the bizarro traits of North American society. I wonder if I should import the UK version.....although I'm not worried about seeing some boobies. Is that all that's missing, or is the sex scene(s) removed entirely?

NHL is back
I personally was hoping for a Mike Modano :D If not just for the fact that Edmontonians hated him for being so good on Dallas, but would surely come to love having him zip around at a hundred miles an hour on OUR team Although I'd be surprised if the Stars didn't hold on to him.

Volourn's no where in sight. I'm also a weak, weak man. Although I wouldn't say so much that he's a troll as he is a fanboi.

NHL is back
Yeah. I'm not holding my breath on Neidermeyer either And I think that a Paul Kariya/Eric Lindros would do well in Edmonton because they'd be surrounded by a bunch of enthusiastic players, and would be the primary option on their team. Both would certainly give them a bigger threat on the power play, although I'm reserved against Lindros given his penchant for receiving concussions. I'd like Messier just for nostaliga sake personally. He'd still find a way to contribute, particularly as a leader on the team IMO. He'd get fans in the seats that's for sure (me anyways ).

NHL is back
Word on the streets is we're looking for a top defencemen like Neidermeyer, as well as a center (which we desperately need). The names I read in the paper for Edmonton today for offense have been Paul Kariya, Eric Lindros, and Mark Messier. I'm not sure about our goalie situation. I think if we still have Markannen and Conklin, we should be at least ok. Nothing spectacular, but both goalies could be starters on other teams, so it's not like the goalie situation is in dire straights. Plus Conklin beat the crap out of Atlanta's goalie one game :D It was crazy, I had never seen an all out brawl on the ice live on TV before, let alone while I was at the arena (w00t). At first the goalies weren't doing anything, as I think Bishai got tossed into the Thrasher's bench but was still throwing punches to the guy that slammed him in there across the boards. Georges pretty much took out two separate guys, and Chimera was flailing away. Suddenly the goalies start skating around, kind of like "Hey, I suppose we should get in on this or something" after waiting for about 5 minutes. They met at centre ice and had a good little scrap, but Conklin knocked the other guy down to the ice. It was hilarious listening to the overhead announcer read off the penalties, finishing off with "that's XX penalty minutes for Edmonton and YY penalty minutes for Atlanta by my count. I don't think I missed anyone." It was kind of funny because Atlanta's starter goalie didn't return after the first period, and after the fights and the game misconducts, Atlanta had to play the remaining couple of minutes in the game with no goalie and Stohl got an empty netter. Not that it matter, Edmonton was beating up on Atlanta.

He'll find a way to r00fle it. Don't worry.- NHL is back
I'm not too surprised. He ended up hurting them IMO.- New PS3 details emerge...
At least I have a link, rather than your vague IBM guy that you write quotes down from, but cannot find on the internet anywhere. Wouldn't you visit the same site? In any case, he said "There's no final hardware specs on any of the systems [at the time of this interview]" right after your line. Despite just saying that, he still had no problems stating that "Sony will have more processing power. There's no question about that" on the very next line. The stuff about "I don't think any of us are really ready to say for sure" is about the Playstation 3 being as a total package more powerful than the 360, which will include a plethora of other things that you usually like to mention. Processing power alone, he states unabashedly Playstation 3. Let me replay the scene for you here. The debacle wasn't that professionals like 64-bit. You stated here: I responded here To which you responded here (which wasn't an answer to my question): To which I responded here: You: BTW this is your reference to an IBM tech, but was not the debacle that I was referring to. My response Your reply. (and this was the pooch screw) was "Preservation of 14 decimal digits over 7." to which I point out how that is not the case here. I then poked fun at you by using "numbers" in quotes to which you tried to defend yourself by saying that "the numbers word was directly relating to benchmarks ". Looking back, you said "one reason Cell isn't that popular in the "professional" fields" because " they usually require 64-bit precision at the very least". Were you trying to say that they needed benchmarks that were 64 bits precise here? Couple that in with you thinking that Coppermine Celerons and Pentium 3s are different microprocessors (and continuing to state that the "hybrid" is more Celeron than P3, despite it having performance numbers closer to a P3). I'm curious what your background is on AI. Particularly ones that let you state specific things such as "FPU performance in AI is a moot subject, as the bulk, and in most cases ALL of the AI is done using logic." I'm also curious....how would you define logic in AI?- What games are you looking forward to?
At the very least a virus is comparable...or maybe more a trojan.- New PS3 details emerge...
Lemme dig up that interview with EA...... http://www.gamespy.com/articles/634/634928p4.html Unless you're implying that EA is not a third party developer ^_^ Furthermore, it's so obvious to him that he says "no question about it." Considering your debacle over why 64-bit is useful to workstation computers, I wouldn't consider you to be someone that can claim to be an authority on anything. The stuff that you state is easy to find on any XBOX site, which certainly isn't the end all be all of objectivity.- In-game adverts

It was more of a Metaphor.... And a bad one at that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Analogy: a- WHos the Best Hero?
A close one between Luke and Obi-Wan, but I picked Obi-Wan in the end.- Fastest way to get a short lightsaber
Trust me, you certainly don't need the short light saber. All of my dual wield combos use normal light sabers in both hands. The fact that your off hand has -2 for its To-Hit makes virtually no difference...you'll still chop things to pieces and if you have 14 Strength or Dexterity (with lightsaber finesse) you'll cover that -2 To Hit anyways. I also felt the short sabers looked silly. The double normal saber is also more damaging.- Double-bladed saber vs 2 Single Sabers
It doesn't really matter. With Master Speed you'll get 5 attacks with both double blade combinations, which usually kills everything in a single hit anyways.- 3D Graphics Programmer
I would wager they are. Statistical math is big, being that processors are getting more and more powerful, and such things as the graphics cards unloading resources off of the CPU.- Story in games?
