Sounds like Religion will have the original, static bonuses that governments have historically had in Civ games. I think the corruption was mostly used to curtail excessive expansion, and it sounds like they have something else in mind for that this time around. No idea what they plan on doing with corruption.

I like the tile improvements. Research techs and you can build windmills instead, and have pastures for cows and whatnot. More even distribution of the resources (except for the special food ones, which seem to have an effect on the health of your empire, and securing all 7 different types will promote diversity in the diet). I'm looking forward to this....as well as Spore which was pretty sweet after watching that video. Company of Heroes better release some information soon or it's going to lose its place from top anticipated game for me. I look forward to seeing the setbacks of building completely specialized nations tech wise

Err, you can easily go to any of Nar Shadda/Dxun/Dantooine/Korriban in any order that you want.

According to the video, it sounds like the "balance" will come from the game analyzing how you play and it sets up how the environment is and whatnot.

For those that care, the track I was thinking of seems to be called "Lambda Core." I'm probably biased since while it was playing I was arguably going through one of the coolest moments in FPS gaming history at the moment, but it's what was playing in HL1, as well as in the Half-Life 2 chase sequence when you're on the waterboat. While listening to it I could practically see the beautiful water getting strafed by guys up on bridges as I weave in and out dodging obstacles and gunfire from the troopers as well as the helicopter. Sooooo many memories.....

You complain about being forced to use T3, but then suggest that we give T3 an ability that we would need him for on some missions??? Malak constantly appearing in the story doesn't make him more developed. Ironically, you spend virtually the entire game of KOTOR 2 .

Orchestral music works in some settings, and not so well in other settings. I starting "finding" the soundtrack for HL2, and it's surprisingly untechno IMO. Many of the tracks I remember from Ravenholm and the final chapter of the game, and brought back some good memories. There are some more techno tracks, but I don't recall the music ever being inapprorpiate for the scene. If I find many more tracks, I'll probably find myself playing the game again.

Why do some people say Schedule -> skedule, when some people say it -> shedule? You're getting your panties in a bunch because people pronounce things differently? We speak English in Canada. They speak English in England. Yet we pronounce things differently.

I don't follow the consoles too closely, but I usually still check on people's claims. If someone came in hyping up how r0x0r the PS3 was going to be, then I'd point out its shortcomings as well.

Am I the only one that didn't think there was any revelation at all in KOTOR 2? (not that that is a bad thing).
