  1. IGN has an article stating that F.E.A.R. is getting a demo this Friday. Hype for a demo release now? What's the world coming to??? Still, the trailer for this game looked super cool, and I'm eager to try out the demo :D
  2. Yeah...the personality certainly doesn't hurt. If there was an actress in movies today that screamed sexuality, it'd probably be her.
  3. Yeah, but trudge further and you'll discover one of my other personalities:
  4. I think its her lips. EDIT: And eyes. EDIT: And curvacious body
  5. Typical sexist drivel I imagine.
  6. It seems as though you are correct. I notice that clicking his link on the official Oilers homepage gets a "page not found" error, just like players such as Oates and Nedved.
  7. Is your starting weapon still a stick? :D
  8. Maybe Neidermeyer will be like "Holy fark, Pronger in Edmonton...I'll play there for 2 mill!" " Where did Ferguson go? He's not listed under any trades, isn't on the NHL's official free agent list, and is still on TSN's, ESPN's, and the NHL's rendition of the Oilers' roster.
  9. I guess I'm not the only one that was less than impressed with Bastila
  10. It's possible that the engine "cheats" so to speak and instead rolls a 2d12 when you get a critical hit.
  11. LORD? That was a sweet Door game. To go along with BRE and Falcon's Eye of course :D
  12. A lot of people leaving comments about the trade are kind of silly. They talk about trading 3 defencement for 1....apparently forgetting that Edmonton had 7 defensemen regularly dressed for every game. They were overflowing with defencemen. Everyone seems to have also forgotten Jason Smith, Igor Ulanov (who shines in Edmonton...I bet he gets re-signed), Marc-Andre Bergeron, Alexei Semenov (dude is huge!), Steve Staios, and Scott Ferguson. Cory Cross is also in there. Edmonton has plenty of solid roleplayer defensemen. They needed the one that could lead them on the powerplay and just lead the whole blue line altogether. Brewer wasn't panning out as much as we were hoping.
  13. Jennifer Hale has done far more than just Bastila and Fall from Grace. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes I know. But if it was just a voice thing, then people would also swoon over FFG then too wouldn't they? She's even a succubus with 19 charisma!!!
  14. I love the lipsynching and animations. The attention to detail for the characters was fantastic in Half-Life 2. In addition to the immensely fantastic work with the shaders for the levels. The levels are actually much lower in polygon count than Doom 3, but look stunning because of the impressive shader effects. It was impressive seeing an untextured wire mesh of Half-Life 2. It looks rather blocky compared to Doom 3, but they did a fantastic job with the art that you can't even tell at all. The only reason why I think Halo is the "end-all be-all" of FPS games is because so many of those people have never played Half-Life 1 or 2, or many of the other excellent FPS games out there. Halo had a marketting blitz up the wazoo, and was one of the few solid FPS games on a console that reminded people of GoldenEye (which is another game that was very outclassed in many aspects by PC shooters...that people had never heard of so GoldenEye was the bestest game evah!). I dunno. The focus on physics, and the gravity gun in particular, were awfully fun. It was cool being able to kill guys up on a bridge by taking out the supports and watching their reactions as they fall to their doom. And grabbing hand grenades and tossing them back with the gravity gun (or even just your hands) was pretty sweet too.
  15. I don't get ESPN television, but I don't watch much TV. I check TSN and ESPN's websites for the most part. As for Pronger....I think that's a good deal. Brewer's development seemed to be stagnating in Edmonton, and Edmonton can have some pretty stupid fans. But Edmonton has a weak power play, and Pronger can do that job up on the point. He's also a fantastic defensive player, and a born leader who can perform night in and night out. He'll probably enjoy the amount of playing time he gets in Edmonton
  16. I guess sites like TSN and ESPN don't actually update unless it's confirmed.
  17. So you all would have Fall From Grace as #2? :alanschu:
  18. God! That is a funny Experiment! I'm surprised with all the fans of the more "thinking" Sith that Revan is still winning. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Funny" experiement? I guess that explains why there's the discussion in academia about the morality of it.
  19. The m249? I consider that the crappiest gun for it's price. It's hard to control, and takes 12 years to reload. I only buy the para when I'm bored and want to screw around. For as much as it costs, other guns are way better. The best example is any server....where people don't buy the para.
  20. Errrr...not sure what money has to do with it. We're not talking about if the game is successful financially.
  21. Where are you finding all this information about Modano and Allison?
  22. Half-Life was late 1998.
  23. Wow. Tony Amonte and Darren McCarty to Calgary.
