  1. Hahaha excellent sales pitch.
  2. At the same time it tells people like Jack Thompson to go f*ck themselves. To do otherwise could be considered a "win" for the assmunches.
  3. We'll see about THAT:
  4. Errrr, is this a proper sentence? I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're talking about choice ala the Zaalbar thing, I loved turning Atton to the Darkside. Seeing his reaction and swearing out against the Jedi was great!
  5. It is. But it's quite hard to determine from a movie. I enjoyed Alba in Sin City.
  6. I think the EU is a bit bizarro with respect to Boba Fett. Having a guy somehow survive being eaten alive (sure....digested over 1000 years but still!). Someone just thought he was kewl and made a story about him. I think I'll make a story about how Uncle Owen was not actually killed at the farm. The bodies there are of burned stormtroopers and Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru become uber-mercenaries that help find Jedi and at one point between the two of them took out 22 dark Jedi that attacked them, AND saved Luke Skywalker from being attacked, while playing Deus Ex Machina to Han Solo when he was boarded by an Imperial Cruiser. THey came in, took out the crew, set the Cruiser into a crash course with the initial construction of the third death star, and jumped from the ship into the Millenium Falcon getting on just before it entered Hyperspace. Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru are responsible for 1000 years of peace and order, as well as happiness in the Republic. It has truly become Utopia. Oh, that blast when Boba meets Solo? That's Beru showing off her leet sniper skills saving Han's life yet again!
  7. I'd say the innovation of Deus Ex was genre-bending. It used to be the taboo thing to do in gaming, and most prior attempts were often lackluster. Deus Ex sported an excellent narrative, a character development system that allowed for an experience unique to the user playing the game, all combined in an easy to use first-person interface....all in the same package. The worst thing in the game is the short sightedness of the NPCs. But that always seems to be a problem in any game that allows "sneaking" I find.
  8. I think it's because you realize that there IS something behind you The licker jumping through the mirror in RE2 scared the bejebus out of me. Mostly because I had been in the other side SO many times already, so I just figured it was empty. And then to go grab the plug and walk and the suddenly......... OH CERLKJADJOI@J!kl1lkj423l5 <- My reaction.
  9. I could see myself enduring some surfing lessons as a small sacrifice :D
  10. Ooooo, it could even chase down Me-262s. Very impressive
  11. That was the Thunderbolt wasn't it?
  12. Hehehe.
  13. In an attempt to make up for some holes left by Adam Foote and Peter Forsberg, the Avalanche have signed Patrice Brisebois and Pierre Turgeon.
  14. The Elder Scroll games were PC first as far as I know. Morrowind is indeed a PC game, and has plenty of mods that improve character models and all that jazz too.
  15. I really couldn't say anything different about most movie stars however...given that I don't know them
  16. It was neat in its idea. I'd never thought I'd play a game as much as I did where my most popular action was walking/jumping to build up my skillz0rs! EDIT: Also, I'm going to have to disagree with metadigital. After playing many games that now have spoken dialogue, it's a bit of a downer when I go back and play say a Planescape: Torment and I see how little of the dialogue is actually spoken. Not that it really takes much away from PS:T, but I do find spoken lines to be more immersive.
  17. Good luck! If you're lucky you might be able to find it on an abandonware site somewhere.
  18. Why would you say that?
  19. Also, an unconfirmed report has it that one factor was the fact that the YF-23 had its internal AAMs "stacked" in its bays, while the YF-22's missiles each had a bay to themselves; this meant that, on the YF-23, a malfunction in one launcher might prevent the launch of another missile in the same bay. Although I don't know why Hildegard disregards the YF-22's manouverability with the following qualifying statement ("even though this was not a mandatory USAF requirement"). I'm sure it's not his words and he just copied and pasted it from somewhere, but I can't understand what the point is of saying it. Sure the thrust vectoring isn't a requirement, but the increased manouverability is certainly a nice bonus. I could probably show some pictures of accidents with the YF-23 as well....if it had been chosen instead of the YF-22.
  20. Always loved that "near miss" term. In the words of George Carlin: "Oh look at those two planes <kaboom> Oh look...they nearly missed"
  21. It was suitable spooky. I remember watching my friend run in front of a mirror as we posed jumping up and down laughing with a giant scythe in our hands....then we both noticed a shadowy figure hovering over our shoulders.....we both looked at each other and then turned around but by that time he was gone. It was classic :D
  22. Boba Fett was beaten by a blind man.
  23. Did you get rid of your armor?
  24. The best evil options are when you convince people to do stuff completely against their character. Like Zaalbar in KOTOR 1.
  25. It's certainly going to look nicer. Wow
