  1. But Naboo supports a level 5 starbase!!!

The Rangers are only 5-4-1 against western conference teams. The East is getting eaten up by the Pacific Division.
  3. For just the cost of S&H, you could have also gotten a box. EDIT: Apparently other people have mentioned this as well.
  4. You talk about the spacebattles now, don't you? As that is just indeed just 2D with 3D units (and thus WAY better than ground combat, even with the awefull lot of micro-management there). Also there you can zoom out far enough to get overview But groundbattle is like that and thus no fun. Zooming out far enough for a good view of the battle wipes out all kind of important information for some odd reason and the "good against, bad against" is far worse than any RTS. In AoE you could still kill archers with warriors if you had enough. Don't try such a thing here. If something is "bad against" it is bad against it and dead without a scratch. Also "natural dangers" irritates me. Tornado killing 2 squads of soldiers anyone? And then you have to keep guard over several parts of the map to respond with the right units and stuff. And to add to this insult the Rebel Arty has a nice habbit of re-packing if you click wrong (on some empty ground) WITH THE ATTACK BUTTON <_< And in both the thought out the amazing system of Right-Move, left-Attack. But WHY are special powers Click on icon and then a right-click, probably killing the unit if you click wrong? Conclussion: Far too many non-sensical micro-management to me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I still do special powers with a left-click. And no, I have defeated TIE Maulers with teams of just Rebel Infantry. It's just harder. Much like trying to use a tank to take out a bazookaman in C&C.
  5. No wonder. Made by the creators of Deus Ex... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm pretty sure it'd be more accurate to say it was made by the creators of Diakatana.
  6. Uhm.. I've noticed I've become very cheap since I started reviewing games. I only buy games I really, really want, unless they end up in the bargain bin. Of course, stupid as I am, I've paid full price for such "gems" as Morrowind and Dungeon Lords. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While we disagree about Morrowind (I didn't mind the game)...but Dungeon Lords? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAH
  7. For what it's worth, this is my first time taking part.
  8. I remember that. The harder they hit, the farther you flew. It worked both ways IIRC. Typically, whenever someone slid across the map...they were dead

Joe is having a helluva season too. Still hoping for a fix from you goaltending woes. Mkreku might be happy, because there is a rumour that Belfour might possibly be it. At which point he'll hopefully regain old form, win Conn Smythe leading us to the Stanley Cup
  10. You can abstract any game to look simplistic though. SMAC = build bases, research tech, build units. I bet the game is not very hard to play, but it will be exceptionally elegant, intuitive, and just plain fun. I mean, SimCity isn't a particularly complex game, but it still has you making tons of decisions. I'd be surprised if this one was any different.
  11. It's not a real 3D RTS, it's all on a flat plane. It's no different really than C&C or Starcraft in that respect.
  12. I remember Deathclaws having insane AP and moving (and attacking) quite quickly. It seemed if I didn't kill it in maybe 2 turns, I was screwed. The mother was even worse.
  13. The game is excellent. If only they had multiplayer.
  14. THat's Galactic Civilization 2. I also enjoy that game
  15. I have nothing against a blockbuster movie. I enjoyed movies like Braveheart, Gladiator, and whatnot.
  16. Not in a row, no. I enjoyed the game, but I enjoyed Half-Life 2 much, much more. Even with its ending. (Which I actually liked).
  17. I don't disagree with the building of the roads, but keep in mind that trade networks can be created via rivers as well.
  18. I wouldn't entirely disagree with the decision. I felt the environments in Doom 3 had really good atmosphere.
