  1. Do we no longer have a thread that logs the bugs in the latest build? BUG: Starting at the point where one drags heroes to scenario locations, in the View Party screen, numbers are no longer listed beside the card types in the Cards List tab. It's useful information when deciding which hero to assign to which location.

  3. Sure! Sentinels of the Multiverse does this with the number of heroes when the player selects random.
  4. Minor bug: while viewing a character when creating a party, the top of the text for the top-most power listed on the POWERS tab is cut off.
  5. Do the devs plan on adding an option for random party composition? When a game offers a random option during set-up, I typically use it, because I enjoy having to deal with whatever I'm dealt. So I was surprised to see this wasn't an option. Instead, I have to resort to RANDOM.ORG. Please say this is easy to add and you plan on doing so.
  6. Well that's disappointing! I had thought likewise based on the screenshot. Have the devs considered using the dice skin specific to a hero whenever his/her dice are added to the current hero's check?
  7. I realize that's how Apple's approval process works. But when a dev states an update is live, to me, that means it's available on the App Store, not that it's been submitted to Apple. I'm not complaining, just stating it's not on the App Store (since they said, "Hotfix patch is now live!")
  8. I downloaded the update with the app being closed. After the update finished, I launched the app and app said it needed to be updated. Closed the app and relaunched several times with the same result. Is there something on your end that's checking the version of the app before it allows it to connect to your servers? If so, perhaps the information isn't matching.
  9. On iOS, despite updating it, the game still thinks it needs the update.
  10. leProgrammer previously stated this on April 28. So...
  11. If you encounter the Villain and fail to defeat him, the Villain plus (<# of Locations> minus <# of closed Locations> minus 1) Blessings from the Blessings deck will be shuffled and randomly added to each open Location (one per Location), after which each Location deck is shuffled. If you encounter the Villain and defeat him, yet there's at least one other open Location for him to flee to, you'll do the same thing, but take random Blessings from the Vault instead of the Blessings deck (meaning you won't lose any turns). You can have one to six characters in your party. The larger the party size, however, the more locations will be in play. You always have 30 turns to win, regardless of the party size. A character's deck contains Boons (beneficial cards), while Location decks contain Boons (added to the character's hand when successfully acquired) and Banes (Villain, Henchmen, Monsters, and Barriers), which characters must defeat. Each character also has unique Powers (active and passive) that can be used during the adventure. The description for each Power states when and where it can be used. After completing the tutorial, you're given Merisiel the Rogue and Kyra the Cleric for free; the other 9 can be purchased using gold or by purchasing the Bundle with real-world money. When you first create a party, you can put whatever cards from your Gallery into each character's deck limited by the number of each card in your Gallery, from which deck the card belongs, and the deck build limitations for the character. Each Location will contain Banes and Boons drawn randomly from the Vault, the type and quantity of each defined by the Location. For example, one Location will contain more Items than Allies, while another will contain more Allies than Items. And yes--certain characters are better suited to tackle certain Locations. Managing which characters to put where and when is a strategic decision you have to manage. Refer to the Terms section in the Rules screen.
  12. I disagree. I love the dragging as implemented in the game. Just as in the Ascension app, I feel like I'm actually manipulating the cards rather than just tapping this and tapping that.
  13. It's a known issue. We're receiving only the characters in that deck (known as the C deck); all non-character cards are missing from the Gallery, which is why it's erroneously prompting you to purchase the C deck.
  14. I have the same issue. After purchasing the Season Pass, I've received everything except the non-character cards from the C deck. I can add the four C characters to a party (without being prompted to purchase them), but the Gallery shows I don't own any of the C cards and instead provides a link to the Store. The C deck in the Store, instead of being listed as "Owned," has a purchase price of 10,000 gold.
  15. They intend to include passing on acquiring boons in a later update. It was brought up during the closed beta.
  16. This is the archived forum that was used during the closed beta. You should post technical issues in this forum.
  17. On the screen at which you open Treasure Chests, the text at the top refers to "the vault." During beta, it was my understanding that the Gallery (accessed via the main menu) are all cards the player owns, while the Vault (accessed via the in-game gear icon) are all cards available to a party. When a player creates a new party (i.e., starts a new adventure), the Vault for that adventure is created by copying the current content of the Gallery (taking into account the adventure being played, of course), right? So, shouldn't the text at the top refer to the Gallery instead of the Vault? Or are all cards gained from opening Treasure Chests immediately added to the Vaults for all existing parties, as well? I just want to confirm when Treasure Chest cards are made available to my characters.
  18. Perhaps adding a statement at the beginning or end of the tutorial that directs those who've never played the physical version to the Rules section would be wise. I'm seeing a lot of frustration with the tutorial from those new to the physical game, some saying it kills the game for them. Since it's a free-to-download game, its financial success hinges on customers sticking with it. Frustration with the tutorial (some have commented that it doesn't always direct them on what to do next) and later with the first adventure ("Did the tutorial tell me how this works?") will cause them to uninstall the app and not spend a dime on it.
  19. It's a known issue they'll be working to resolve this morning.
  20. The closed beta ended two weeks ago.
