Given that Obsidian usually has three games in the works at the same time, a POE3 wouldn't preclude the existence of an isometric sci-fi.

Is it possible and how would I begin to create (coding) a new companion complete with dialog tree? Though, I don't care about the relationship disposition stuff.

Pillars 3 will happen the question is how far out is it and will it be isometric. It might behoove Obsidian to let the mainline franchise sit dormant for a few years (maybe make a smaller spin off in a different subgenre) to increase anticipation for POE3.

Paradox owns Tyranny, so it's completely out of the picture, though they only acted as the publisher for POE1 (and, yeah, it looks like Microsoft will be taking over that role). Pillars has a future, it's just uncertain whether or not it will be in the isometric style. As for the last, I wouldn't know where to begin to look.

On PC or consile? If you're playing on PC I highly advise getting the no loot animation and instant wartable mission mods. Together they can save lots of time and tediousness.

Game Informer asked Obsidian directly "will there be romances", to which Obsidian said "no". They didn't advertise it as a feature, it was a question in an interview.

The best part of the scavenger hunt was we legitimately didn't know what we were doing for like the first thirty codes. Good times! Think I snorted derisively at the old thread no less than two hundred times. I was wrong.
