What are you playing now?
My old mouse used to. My MX700 hasn't hurt my wrist since I got it two years ago now. Oddly enough, instead of my mousing hand getting hurt, ever since I got my current mouse, it's been the offhand the get's hurt instead. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What do you do with your off-hand?

Search for the Word of Chaos!
Will it be translated? In English or French, I'm interested. I find it interesting that the main character is not a nice looking white person for a change. EDIT: I just watched the trailers and all I can say is (w00t) But I can also say that for some reason, the turn-based combat sequence in the bigger trailer reminded me of Neverend for some reason but from the looks of it, WoC cannot be as bad as that game. Hey it looks even better than NWN2 imo.

You're right, I remember now but I didn't when I wrote my post. Makes sense too. Meh.

Army frowns on D&D
3: It's Israel Defense Force, whom has been known to have many strange rules that make very little sense, but then is it any worse than "Don't ask, Don't tell?" The US also has some interesting rules about whom they give out various security clearances to, although they make a little more sense. For example: If you talk in your sleep, even once... you will be stripped of your security clearance. Or if you manage to accumulate a certain amount of debt you come under review and observation as you are considered to be susceptible to bribes. 4: This ruling is not unprecedented, and in some ways its almost progressive. Some countries in Europe will not accept you into the Military if you play over X amount of hours of Video Games, and bar you from the Military entirely for Role-Playing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow. I guess that rules me out for the draft then...

Movies You Have Seen Lately
Speaking of a Star Trek revival, J.J Abrams has been confirmed as director for the next movie, in addition to producing the thing. I'd post a link but the only one I have of this is in french. Oh and screw it. Read it if you can, who am I to play God.

This reminds me of Diane Sawyer's report in North Korea.

What are you playing now?
I'm on a MMORPG free trial binge. Tried Star Wars Galaxies yesterday. And for a week(hence, the "binge") I've been playing WoW. Holly crap this is f***ing crack! I'm really glad I don't have the funds for the monthly fees or my family life would surely die. Next stop is Guild Wars, currently looking for a demo. @Jorian: I was thinking of getting Keepsake for my wife. How is it?

The Battlestar Galactica Thread
I agree with Gromnir for the most part, about this particular episode. I found it very good though but I'm pretty sure that is because the last three weren't all that great. If compared to most of the first two seasons and with Exodus II and Collaborators, this last one was a bit of a bore. Kat was never a central character. Heck I never knew she was ever CAG, I don't remember anyone saying she was CAG although it makes sense that she would be during the occupation. Kat's function as a character was to be Starbuck's thorn in her side. But Kara's character arc has just seen a dramatic shift and there is no need for Kat anymore. She would just be an extra now. I'm glad she's dead. I was happy to see some space action episode. I found the gaseous nebula obstacle to be an interesting plot device but I thought they didn't make a very big deal out of losing two ships and thousands of people. I'm gussing they will meet another ship very soon. The Road to Earth plotline also sees some more development in this episode which is always a good thing imo. We can expect another showdown in the next 2 episodes, concluding the first half of the season.

Firefly MMORPG
I'm pretty sure they will just be making a Gunsforhire/mercenary/space pirate game and only stick the Firefly brand on it to attract more consumers. I don' t think they can knock WoW off it's pedestal either but it doesn't really matter. More and more publishers rely on the first weeks of sales to make their money, like with movies, so a decent hype campaign with a known brand name will sell the product to the producer's content. A game being good, in that type of market, is irrelevant. Imo.

Firefly MMORPG
A friend of mine sent me this a few minutes ago. I'd prefer an off line experience with the actors reprising their roles but meh. Discuss.

See, I'm thinking(yes, I am!) that Peter picked up Teddy's power through Sylar, and also Mohinder's gift prophetic vision.

Movies You Have Seen Lately
An Inconvenient Truth This really affected me as it was a reminder of many things I already knew but were forgotten in the boring slumber of everyday life. Now I want to quit my useless job and do something useful for the world, something more meaningful than just hugging trees. However I'm pretty sure that after a good night sleep I will be the same man I was this morning...
