To kill an idea for sure, you need to kill everyone that exists. To kill or reduce terrorism, like Xard said, you need to kill it's source. I thought cutting the funds was a good way, making it more difficult or impossible for them to obtain ressources. I think the key is in covert intelligence, not military might. Terrorists operate in the shadows of society and it is there that they must be fought imo.

But time is the measure. Like inches or galons. No?

Terrorism. The way terrorism is fought now is like trying to catch all rain water with a glass during a storm. Terrorism is worldwide all the time. There are terrorists in every country, all the time. Imo trying to fight terrorism one country at a time, or one man at a time is useless. So what if Iraq is Democratic and terrorist free? Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Canada, France, Belgium, Norway, Australia, Congo, Angola, USA, etc all harbor terrorists, wether they know it or not. The only way to truly fight terrorism is a real world war, where every single country participate, as one, in the war efforts specifically to counter terrorism. Everywhere, at all times. Is catching one man going to solve the terrorist threats everywhere? I don't think so.

Are you using the hi-res textures? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nope. Unless some are included in the 1.03 patch. The GFX card on the computer I'm using could be the problem but it never gave me any problem before. I don't think it has all the features of normal gaming card like shaders and stuff. But I can still run Oblivion and pretty mcuh everything else. I don't know, it's wierd.

They're also focusing too much on the same characters. The first two seasons everything was a team effort and we could see everyone evolving. In almost every episode there was time for all the characters to develop a bit. These days it's Starbuck this and Starbuck that. I like Starbuck but I like the ensemble better. Still, season 3 had some very good moments so far.

The second and final season of Rome began last sunday on HBO. I really enjoyed Season 1, probably one the show with the highest production value ever. Great photography, great actors, great music. Season 2 picks up what seems like a few minutes or hours after the events that closed Season 1(I won't say ) I found it strange that Octavian grew a few inches in a very short time but thats ok. Episode 1 was also intense in some parts and I can't help but wonder what will happen to Vorenus from this point on. He seems to have many enemies now. Loved the last 10 minutes...

It doesn't happen at the same place. It looks more like a timed event. And it is not during an area load, unless you count ending a conversation an area load. Since the last install/patch I rebooted as I always turn off the machine before leaving the office. Also, if I save while the bug is running(no conversations + missing 2D textures) the save is corrupted. I tried saving anyway because I remember having a similar problem in a KotOR that was solvable by saving and reloading.

Before the holidays, Season 2 was split into two different boxed set, Seasons 2.0 and 2.5, each with 10 episodes. The problem is that on those boxes you had to read some fine print in order to know you didn't have the entire season. Last weekend I saw a box for Season 2.0 and I wasn't sure at all if it was the complete season or not as it didn't say. But since it had only three disks I figured it was the split version.

Meta, were you able to find the complete Season 2 on DVD or is still 2.0 and 2.5?
