  1. Hey Everyone! Great news! We got a patch coming in that will address some of the major issues you all have been reporting. If you receive a notification that the game is requiring an update and does not, please allow for a few hours while the game gets updated across all regions> Then you will be good to go! Now on to the patch notes! New Alts drop from Treasure Chests You now have a small chance of acquiring Alts from Treasure Chest drops Acquiring an alt will award the base character as well, if you don't already own them Alts and dice are not exclusive - it is possible (if rare) to get both in a single chest drop If you happen to acquire an alt skin you already own, they will be auto-salvaged for half their gold cost in the store. Top Community Issues These are issues you have all helped to bring to our attention. We can't thank you enough for your feedback on the game! These issues have been the most discussed here on the forum and these, along with many more, will be fixed when 1.1.6.2 goes live! Harpy/Harpy MonksResolved an issue where you could be unable to roll dice when encountering the Harpy or Harpy Monk Quest Mode You will no longer incorrectly be given extra card feats sometimes when completing scenarios in Quest Mode People who ran into a progression break as a result of this issue will now be able to continue playing Tutorial Better clarified the tutorial when instructed to have Ameiko aid Orik's check Fixed a possible progression break that could also occur here Other Fixes Here's the list of other fixes we've addressed in this patch, broken down by type! Wildcard Close Quarters: Fixed a visual bug that would make it appear that characters lost a power feat for hand size.   9. Hey everyone! Later today we will be patching the game to 1.1.6.1! We have submitted the build and are currently in review. Thank you everyone for being so patient with us. Please keep in mind that the upload will take some time to reach across all regions. If you see that the game is asking for an update, but doesn't update right away, please give it an hour or two. Top Community Issues These are issues you have all helped to bring to our attention. We can't thank you enough for your feedback on the game! These issues have been the most discussed here on the forum and these, along with many more, will be fixed when 1.1.6.1 goes live! Android users unable to load the game Android users on certain devices were unable to load the game after the patch. This has been resolved. Encountering the ally Morgiv results in cards being lost from character decks Issue has been resolved. We cannot fix this retroactively in-game, but are working on a CS method to rebuild affected character decks. Progression break when acquiring Roles There was a progression break when more than 1 character acquired roles. The main issue has been resolved. There is a smaller edge case that can still break progression - if you go to the Rules before selecting your roles progression can break. You can work around this by restarting the game and proceeding without interacting with the Rules button. Cards staying on top of the deck when defeated Haunts, Zombie Horde and Zombie nest would remain at the top of the location deck even when they should otherwise be defeated. This has been fixed. Seoni & Lem losing powers There was an issue where Seoni and Lem would have their Role switched to a different one, and you couldn't see the power feats that had been acquired from the role. While these should have continued to function as normal, the issue as been resolved and fixes the characters affected. Any instances of Lem or Seoni who acquired roles since 1.1.6 will have this issue again, and need to be manually corrected. Other FixesHere's the list of other fixes we've addressed in this patch, broken down by type! Progression Breaks Into the Runeforge: Resolved a progression break on Heroic+ when encountering the henchman and Revenge of the Wrathful wildcard is active Assault on the Pinnacle: Resolved a progression break that would occur when defeating The Thing From Beyond Time. Character Lini: Animal Empathy now properly recharges played allies with the animal trait again Rewards Power Feat Loss with Alts: It was possible to lose a power feat by selecting a power you already owned, but wasn't displayed on a version of the character you didn't acquire it on. This issue has been resolved. Roles skipped: If there was a character that gained their maximum number of power feats, they would skip role acquisition. (This also skipped roles for other characters in party that were not maxed out). This has been resolved. Scenario Into the Eye: You can no longer close the location when defeating a henchman. Store Special Offer: Rolling All The Way: Offer was not granting the correct items. This has been resolved. Anyone who purchased the offer and didn't get the correct items should contact support@obsidian.net to get the proper items granted to their account. Treasure New Boosters Not Dropping: Resolved an issue where the new boosters weren't dropping at the desired rate. As always we'll be checking the technical support forums on release of the patch for any and all feedback you all provide.   11. Hey everyone, Here is a list of current known issues in patch 1.1.6 found by the QA team and you guys! As we find more bugs, we will update the list accordingly. Thank you all for your hard work! Known Issues Major Issues Morgiv: Encountering the ally Morgiv in deck 6 will trigger a chain of weirdness that culminates in most cards from character's decks being wiped. We have a fix internally and are working on a patch. Android: Some android users cannot load the game post patch. We're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. RolesRewards: There is a progression break when acquiring Roles when there is more than 1 character in the party. Fixed internally. Zombie Horde/ZombieNest: When defeating the summons, the barrier stays on top of the location deck instead of being banished. Fixed internally. Haunts: Upon defeat, haunts are returning to the location deck instead of being banished. Fixed internally. Other Community Reported Issues Dice: Dice can sometimes roll off screen and provide a value of 0 to the check. We have not been able to reproduce this internally yet, but are investigating. Lini: Animal Empathy is not recharging allies. Fixed internally. Merisiel: Inspired Dexterity is not recharging blessings New Booster Drop Rate: The new boosters were dropping at incorrect values Fixed on Live. Special Offer: Rolling All the Way was granting incorrect items. This has been fixed. Anyone who has purchased the offer and not gotten the correct items should contact support@obsidian.net to get the proper items granted to their account. Quest Mode: Card Feats are being granted for every level, and can eventually lead to a progression break Cards Boots of Teleportation: If used prior to your first explore, you will be unable to move or explore the location (unless a card granting an explore is used). Cape of Escape: Evading a villain's summon can make the villain encounter abruptly end. Cannibal Haunt: When encountering the Cannibal Haunt, you cannot change your mind about the location you'd like to banish a card from. Choose carefully! Dominate: Spell is behaving as an Examine instead of a Search. Emerald Codex: Playing a card from the codex vs a Warchanter-like can get the examine tray stuck on screen. Hidden Beast: The BYA check doesn't update to the correct die when playing a dexterity weapon. To work around, manually change the check from the Skill Panel. Runeforged Weapons: The support card gained at the end of Deck 5 isn't being removed upon completion of Deck 6. Robes of Xin-Shalast: If played after taking 2 damage, if you drag the card back to hand after recharging 2 cards for damage, you'll have to discard the robes Stampeding Aurochs: If Undefeated check is incorrectly hitting only characters at that location Summon Monster: Characters without the Arcane or Divine trait cannot recharge the card. Occluding Field: When encountered by multiple characters, the original character will have a die on screen if they can perform the evade Booster: Venomous Bolt: Incorrect text on buttons when prompted to recharge and recharges at end of turn instead of end of encounter. Challenges Weekly Challenge: When completed, the completion bar on the in-game popup doesn't appear to update. Weekly Challenge: Brawling in a wintry wonderland shows a reward of "150". The actual reward is a treasure chest Daily Challenge: Daily challenges are automatically being rewarded upon completion when they award gold. (Contrary to the last patch where we forced them to be picked up). Currently, there is no in-game indication that this gold has been awarded. Character Lini: If you use Animal Trick, then activate Beast form and discard the ally revealed by dragging it, the wrong die will be added to the check Seoni: Magic in the Touch incorrectly auto-succeeds on items cards that should be either discarded or buried (as opposed to recharged or discarded) Frostfire Seoni: It's possible for Frostfire Blast's cold trait to apply to base Seoni's powers. Scholar Ezren: The unowned version of his token art is lower resolution than token icons Dice Fiery Core: When rolling the die or viewing them idly on out-of-scenario screens, occasionally a red orb will float across the screen. General Warchanter-likes: Evade spells with the attack trait do not properly trigger the "when you play a spell" power of Warchanter style monsters. This affects the deck 6 spells Bewilder and Dominate. Locations Garrison: Encountering a Warchanter-like at the Garrison when multiple people are present can sometimes result in damage being dealt incorrectly Rewards Roles & Power Feats: If a character in the current party has maxed power feats, any new power feats awarded will be skipped. This will also skip acquiring roles. Potential Power feat Loss with Alt Switching: When power feats on an Alternate skin, then gaining a second back on the base version, sometimes a power feat that should be available on the character will be unchecked. Powers will function fine in practice if this is part of a "tree" of power (Arcane Blast, for example). You can, however, select one of the versions that you already acquired (or had by default) and the game will allow you to proceed, effectively making you lose out on that power feat reward. Scenario The Road Through Xin-Shalast: It is possible to have Ghlorofaex empty a random other location when closing the Temple The Road Through Xin-Shalast: It is possible to close the Town Square without banishing cards The Road Through Xin-Shalast: It is possible to gain a second attempt to close locations that summon to close Store Dice Purchases: Sometimes when purchasing dice, all categories except the Bundles will disappear. When this occurs, exit and reenter the store to display the dice again. Treasure Dice: It is possible to have the dice salvage art appear on dice that aren't salvaged. UI Unable to interact with cards in the examine tray: Sometimes, you will be unable to interact with cards in the Examine tray. The Examine tray is the tray that opens to show your character Deck, Discard, and Bury piles. It can cause progression breaks if you're forced to perform an action and have no means of exiting that action. We're still investigating the cause. Character Selection: When dragging characters to form a party, some will not leave behind shaded icons Character Sheet: Power category names do not update to new power names for Alternate characters that have power updates (Merisiel, Seoni, Amiri, Lini, Ezren) Card Selection: Harsk and Forest Harsk partially overlap Lini if adjacent on the Card Selection (Deck building) screen. Party Creation/Load screen: Character tokens displayed on parties do not reflect their alternate skins.
  12. Hey guys, We're truly sorry for the major issues with this patch. Just letting you guys know that I have made comment on the forum thread Longshot has linked and the bug is already fixed. We just need your info to add the cards lost back into your characters deck.
  13. Hey everyone, We are extremely sorry for the major bugs popping up in the 1.1.6 update. So far, we have fixed a lot of the major issues that you have been reporting including this one, and we are forever grateful to you all! We're doing our best to get patch 1.1.6.1 out that includes all these fixes as fast as we are able to. If you haven't posted your PFID# or User ID (i.e. Waffles4Life #1234) already, please do so. We will also need the character that was affected by this issue, along with the cards that were banished when encountering Morgiv the Enshrouded. We will do our best to add the cards back into your character's decks. Again, we are very sorry for this shakey release and for any inconvenience this may have caused you all.

The good news is that we have discovered the root of the issue fixed it, and will restore her roles and grant her the powers back. However, this will require a patch to correct the problem.   23. Hello friends, I am hoping that the immediate reaction to seeing my name to a post isn't, "Oh crap, the Destroyer of Dreams is going to share some bad news." Far from it, actually! I bring great and wonderful news, along with happy tidings, and such. This blog means that I wasn't completely full of malarkey and that there is a Deck 6 release. I also kept my word that it would be before the holidays. Albeit, barely, but still before. For more infor on Deck 6, check out the patch notes here. While you might be enjoy the new Deck 6 content it isn't the only feature that version 1.1.6 will contain. I am here to share a cool feature that we refer to as "Alts." Alts are the alternate versions of the characters you have come to be familiar with. They aren't just a reskinning of the character; they have different stats, different powers, and different skills. They are basically a differently themed character. ValerooOOooooos! Lini so crazy! If you decide to purchase the Alt version of the character and don't own the original version you will be given the original as well. Also, if you have an original version of a character already in a party you will be able to swap them with the Alt version. This may change in the future to have the Alt to be considered a different character entirely (no you can't have a party with the original and alt version) but for release they are interchangeable. Here is some WIP art that Hannah whipped up (Ha!) for us. On that note, we are working on approvals to do more with Goblins and additional content beyond Deck 6. When the update goes live, please allow a few hours while the build goes across all platforms and regions. Deck 6: Spires of Xin-Shalast is now available! 5 New scenarios, including the epic conclusion to the Rise of the Runelords adventure 4 new locations 4 new maps Over 40 new monsters, henchman and villains More weapons, spells, items, loot and more! Character Equipment Sets! Each character has an alternate version that can be purchased in the store Equipment sets can be equipped on any character that is not actively in a scenario. When selecting your party (or managing it between scenarios) just tap the shirt icon next to the character to equip the alt. Each alt has alternate art. Stat-wise, they're mostly the same as the original with some tweaks to skills, card feats and some have power changes. Below is a breakdown of the changes, as compared to their base version. Summon Monster: Can now be recharged on characters with Arcane/Divine. Swipe: Resolved an issue where Swipe would function incorrectly when used vs items Token of Remembrance: Can now properly be cancelled when played. This should help some users work around a progression break when you can't interact with cards in the examine tray. Velociraptor: Now can correctly be discarded prior to your first exploration of the turn. Character Seelah: Inheritor's Favorite now functions as intended. Locations Shimmering Veils of Pride: Now forces a recharge when characters with auto success recharge powers fire. Lem's Quick Wit will now correctly make the power fire. Merisiel's Inspired Dexterity, Kyra's Dawnflower's Favor, and Lini's Wild Empathy no longer incorrectly triggers the power. Quest Mode Rewards: Fixed an issue that would sometimes allow banes to be granted as rewards Scenarios Thassilonian Sins: Players are no longer forced to move after cornering and defeating the final villain UI Emerald Codex: Cards played from the Codex using contextual buttons will no longer sit in the middle of the screen briefly afterwards. Emerald Codex: Now has a slight glow when cards can be played Hand: Loading into a game with an empty hand will no longer have them sort on top of each other when cards are drawn at the end of turn. Vault/Gallery Card Counts: There is now the correct number of Azavens and Scribblers in the Gallery. Cards Modified from the Physical GameWe sometimes change cards from the ones found in the Physical version of the game - generally due to technical reasons, although sometimes per request from Paizo or Loneshark. Here's the list of cards modified in this patch! Cannibal Haunt: Text added to state that when the haunt is encountered, it is defeated. Modified in previous patches: Acid Arrow: Card modified from Arcane die + 2d4 to Arcane die + 1d10+1. Alu-Demon Sister: Card modified from a "Before you act", perform a die roll, to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Bandit: Veteran trait added. Black Magga: Card modified from a "Before you act," perform a die roll, to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Emerald Codex: Banish power of the card removed. The only power on this card is the Bury version. Current power: "Bury this card to display three new spells that have the Divine trait. You may play each of these cards as if it is in your hand; after you do, banish it. At the end of the scenario, banish any that remain." Goblin Warchanter: Card modified from a "Before you act," perform a die roll, to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait or a weapon" perform a die roll. Hag: Card modified from a "Before you act" perform a die roll to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Haunt: Text added to state that when the Haunt is encountered, it is defeated. Hook Mountain Hag: Card modified from a "Before you act" perform a die roll to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Holy Candle: Power changed to a Banish from Bury for added blessings to the blessings deck. Levitate: Removed from the game and replaced with Stride. Stride's power: "During your turn, discard this card to move another character. At the end of your turn, discard this card to move. After playing this card, if you do not have the Arcane skill, banish it; otherwise, you may succeed at an Arcane 8 check to recharge this card instead of discarding it." Lokansir: Card modified from a "Before you act" perform a die roll to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Mistress Delvahine: Card modified from a "Before you act", perform a die roll, to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. Reduction Field: Reworded If Undefeated power to "If undefeated, attach this card to its location deck. While attached, the difficulty of Strength and Melee checks at this location is increased by 4.". The original stated to "display this card faceup next to its location deck." Rimeskull: Scenario power modified from "Characters may not move to or explore" to "may not move to or encounter cards" Snake: Discard power updated to add to Strength combat checks. Original only allowed Melee. Shimmering Veils of Pride: Location modified to state: "When you succeed at a check on your turn, recharge a card." The original text was for any succeeded check at that location would cause a recharge to occur. Succubus: Card modified from a "Before you act", perform a die roll, to "Before you play a spell that has the Attack trait" perform a die roll. What is a Warchanter-like?Warchanter-like cards are cards that have a power that forces a check or roll when playing a card of a certain type (named such as the Goblin Warchanter was the first to exhibit this power). In general, they trigger when playing spells with the attack trait (but there are exceptions).
