Gog beta patch won't update
Weirdstudies replied to Melusina's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)It's updating fine for me on GoG. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for why you're having trouble.

Crashes on Mac
Weirdstudies replied to Weirdstudies's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)I can try that. However, I'm not sure that's the problem, because sometimes the graphics load fine, while other times they fail. Some parts of the log make me grumble, since I checked inside the app package and the .ogg music file IS there...there's just a bug in how Pillars looks for the path. See the backslash before the filename? Needs to be all forward slashes on MacOS and Linux. /Users/a/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Pillars of Eternity/PillarsOfEternity.app/Contents/data/audio/mus/mus_final\mus_combat_e.ogg does not exist. The music will not play! I haven't noticed any problems with the music, though.

Crashes on Mac
Weirdstudies replied to Weirdstudies's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)The character portraits didn't load. Part of the scene did not load. Sometimes things come back if I hit ESC to go to the Graphics settings, then return to the game.

Crashes on Mac
Hi folks! I had played PoE back when it was new on this same Mac, but haven't played with 3.0 or since updating my OS to Sierra. I started a new game. At first it ran great. But now I'm seeing graphical glitches (missing images or textures) and crashes to desktop in the Gilded Vale. I've attached two output logs in a zip file. Here's my Mac's stats: iMac 21.5 inch, Late 2012 2.9 Intel Core i5 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB Playerlog.zip MacCrashSave.zip

What if it would be made in Unity 5.0?
So less of a drop-in upgrade and more of an improved toolset?

I've got an iMac from a few years ago (GeForce GT 650M 512 MB). High hopes, we'll see!
