  1. just a thought. you could make the weapon soulbound w/o actual having it improve. have soulbound exclusive to durance. this would allow durance, as a priest who is not particular effective with a staff, to actual make use o' his eponymous weapon. HA! Good Fun! The problem is that soulbound weapon can't be enchanted. So making it simply soulbound would actually make it potentially weaker. It is basically more simple to keep the balance by making it evolving soulbound.
  2. Yup I know, but reducing it to zero when you use a 2hander without speed enchant, full plate and vulnerable attack would already be nice ) In addition, different speed increases from SPELLS (and active abilities) usually don't stack. That's the point. My hope comes from the the fact that cipher Steal Spells like body attunement do stack. So it may work. You're right by the way: not necessary to have more than 1 or maybe 2 parasites at a time.
  3. Soulbound companion items would be the perfect way to make them unique. Eder's armor, Sagani's bow, Durance's staff, Pellagina's armor, Manhea's armor.... and devil's...well... body Companions miss unique features (except Pallegina and Devil). That would be awesome and that would compensate for their suboptimal stats, race, background and lvl 1 abilities. Hey, do you remember Dak'kon's blade ? The fabulous Dak'kon's blade ? The very answer of the question : what can change nature of a man ?
  4. Mmmm not really. More about stacking it with alacrity or outlander's frenzy If I had a plan about stacking, it was more about stacking Acc until I can morph Thaos into a pig.
  5. Brindle, the guy who thought the tooltip was contractual.
  6. By the way I have NO idea about time parasite stacking because I never used it. Spell tongue stealing effect stacked isn't it ? So I won't be surprised if Time parasite stacked too. Close from OP in this case.
  7. It's more about understanding general rules. As unconsistent as it may seem, stacking/non-stacking is almost always based on an underlying rule. Inspiring Liberating and Greater Frenzy stack with everything because they are "passive talents" even if applied to active skills. Body atunement stack because it is a "stealing effect", meanwhile borrowed instinct has been coded as a debuff AND a separate (conditional) buff. The other side-effect of "stealing" effect is that they end when the initial target dies. Borrowed instinct don't. But borrowed instinct don't stack with Devotion of the faithfull. They are not that much "true exception" : for exemple FoD accuracy bonus is the single effect which accuracy inherent bonus (like spell accuracy bonus) does not stack with various accuracy buff.
  8. Spell giving "bonus to all defenses" (like circle of protection and vigorous defense) also stack with deflection buff. They don't stack each other. That means Shield of the faithful + circle + Crown = +65 AoE deflection
  9. Weapon switch skip recovery time of the previous attack. This is not so noticeable without quickswitch, but with it, you'll see the difference. I don't think it is realistic. But yeah, this requires talents to build, so it is not too much an exploit.
  10. Dude, skipping reload when using quickswitch is totally legit. But you know from the depth of your soul that skipping recovery is evil.
  11. Let's start. Body Atunement stacks with both DR Buff and DR Debuff. Wild Leech with both stat Buff and stat Debuff. Mwwaahahaha.... I'm going to bed now.
  12. Does 20 damages lead to 2 resonant charges ? And does it work with lash by the way ? Does main and lash damage count separately to reach the threshold ?
  13. I still feel it is not that great overall, despite new build possibilities. No lash, no Durgan steel, no draining or anhilating, no CC or devastating spells... I will certainly bind it to Aloth as it has very good defensive properties. 12 might is the min might to unlock it with a non-godlike I think. By the way, is 30 might the ultimate unlocking condition for all classes ? I feel it is thematically related to Champion's boon, so...
  14. The 4 druids on the road to Dryford that starts the battle by casting 4 returning storm is extremely irritating too.
  15. It is "well known" the most powerful party in absolute power is 5 wizard and 1 priest. But it is complicated to play and requires a lot of resting.
  16. And if you don't want to play solo, you can build a whole team of ascetic using Novice Suffering
  17. Brindle apparently uses spiritcapslock.
  18. Cephalopods have 2 eye aren't they ? So you can create 1 2 hander or 2 1-hander isn't it ?
  19. What happend to Tornado? Nothing. But I meant that there is AT LEAST 1 good spell for each level now. Except 7th.
  20. Ahem... is there a way to upgrade weapons to legendary, or is it only for armors ?
