  1. 50% to cast healing chain twice per rest seems a bit erratic. It might trigger for no reason at the beginning of the day... But 50% chance of what by the way ?
  2. By the way, when you use blunderbuss (or twin arrows) with a condition inflicting attack (blinding strike, runner's shot) does the condition applied by the first bullet (or arrow) count for activation of sneak attack, deathblow, apprentice's sneal attack, etc... for the other bullets (arrow) ?
  3. No, your Paladin just needs to smack them with his weapon and it'll instantly remove the condition. You even have a reason to use dual fist without suffering as weapons. When all you party except pal got dominated : "Now, it's slap time !"
  4. How about feign death ? From what I understand it is a per encounter mix of play dead and invisibility ? Is it fun to use ? Can one get benefit from the extra backstab ? Isn't 10s incapacitation too harsh ?
  5. True. Druid have excellent spells at level 1, 3, 4, 5, decent level 2 and 6. But 7 and 8 are not very appealing. At least in NWN, you had metamagic to correct this...
  6. New paladin's ability is about spirit (and summon). There's a chant against beast. An entire race anti wilders and primordials. And a spell to change kiths into pigs. But yeah, anti vessel is a bit more frequent.
  7. It didn't work on spiritshift claws by the way. But... shift claws are peasant weapons so...
  8. A fully unlocked hammer doesn't have any slaying powers? Yup, but a bit of anti-vessel racism
  9. Summoned weapons are considered universal, which means that it'll work with any Weapon Focus and any weapon specific abilities and talents. But yes, Reaping Knives is incredible. Too bad the only character in my current party who benefits from it is my Skaen Priest... of all characters =/ Does that mean novice suffering work with summoned weapon as well ?
  10. Abydon's hammer is nice on a caster by the way. +4 might means it is even good for healing Probably not optimal but...
  11. "Old siec would not rest 'till his hunger.." is a lvl 4 chant. The lvl 1 chant damage endurance but does not steal anything
  12. I predict the conclusion of this topic will be "you should play a cipher".
  13. Mercy and kindness basically double the effects of the endurance stealing chant. And of draining mode, etc... Now with brisk, you can have both active at the same time. I think it can be a life saver against some hard and long battle like the Alpine. Especially now that chanter has a low level healing chant.
  14. Nope. There are a couple of damages immunities too Not that much : only blights and 1 single other ennemy are immuned to 1 kind of physical damage (slash/pierce/crush). A couple more are immuned to elemental damages... once more mostly blights. Remember your druid can cast blights by the way...
  15. Barbarian retaliation does raw damages. As retaliation damages tends to be low, I think it is noticeable. More reliable than rooting pain IMHO. How skyward reach could be stunning blow on steroids ??? It's not full attack, and only cause Prone while Stun is better. It is stricty bader than Stunning Blows... or did I miss something ? Do you realize Aegis of Loyalty is the only way of dissipating mind control spells ? (Except charming back) Did you read the complete description ?
  16. Honnestely, when a fighter with Knockdown meets a foe with Prone immunity, it's annoying. When cipher meets a foe with a given immunity, he just use a different power. Vary the status effects of the power you choose and you won't have any troubles. There's about 20% foes immune to a given status. You won't find many foes with too many immunities at a time. There is a certain (optionnal) boss immune to paralysis, stun and resistant to prone. Use charm/dominate/confuse, pure damage powrers, or simply target his annoying minions. That's the only time I experienced frustration about immunities. Eventually, it wasn't so bad. I played on PotD with melee cipher by the way. Consider that melee weapons deal about 1.5 times more damages than ranged. Melee is more dangerous, less flexible, but certainly not less efficient. You can still bring a big gun for first strike.
  17. Distraction is also 6 less defense for target. Stacking. So it is like +6 accuracy for the whole party against rogue's target. Stacking. Deathblows are also activated by Flanking + distracted. Very nice. As a result, it sounds like most convenient rogue ability ever And rather fun too. I tried shadow step yesterday. Basically transfer your rogue to (close) position for around 8s. 1/encounter I found this rather bad.
  18. Oh my ! Now I feel like cheating. Barbaric shout is annoying but with such stats, it's not much a pb.
  19. I'm curious about her base stats. She was told to have great might and constitution in Josh's video, which could be good for the new barbaric retaliation... Also, as you can't respec them, what are her background and level 1 ability ?
  20. Apparently, Hammer and Abydon association was quite accurate
