Actually you are wrong. If I remember right, there were early versions of these games as comics. Bioware took the idea from comic "Knights of the Old Republic" if I remember right. Oh, and there is comic called "Knights of the Old Republic: Sith lords" Other thing is that how much games and comics have comon. Not much. But anyway, Sith Wars, Great Hyperspace Wars, New Sith Wars etc. has all ready been set, so there has already things in so far back in OR era. Heck, Hyperspace war is even thousand year before kotor. And before that is Great Schism (how it is spelled anyway) and there is even stories of very beginning of jedi and Republic. When Coruscant has city states and such. So KOtor era is not that different. It is only 40 later than Sith Wars which were documented by many, many comics

For new players Baldur Gate's might not be so...good. After all they are old games. But if you like BG's, you definetly have to play Planescape Torment, propably best RPG ever. Then comes the Fallout 1 & 2, but they are very old games. The RPG Genre has dried up for PC. There hasn't been a good one since KOTOR and the last one before that was Baldur's Gate series. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... I trust quality of NWN 2. This might even be "New Dawn" for RPG's. So, if you have good ebough machine, check out Neverwinter Nights 2, it is developed by Obsidian Entertainment (you are on their forums if you haven't figured out it yet ) and it seems to be top quality. Also, I suggest that you buy diamond pack (or whatever it's name was, diamond -something here- ) of Neverwinter Nights. It is not so old game as BG's and such, and it is good too. But warning: OT (original campaing) is not good, it sucks, but I suggest that you play it. And first expansion Shadows of Undrentide is better, but it's campaing still isn't much. Second expansion pack, Hordes of the Underdark however, is very, very good campaign. I enjoyed it a lot. And best part of NWN is it's modding community. I am serious now: Many player created mods are simply fabulous, great, awesome etc. and they are better than Bio's own campaings. Only minus is that there isn't voice acting in most of them (though in some of them there IS voice acting, and not bad either). No game has IMO such good community as NWN. If you deside to buy NWN diamond edition (or whatever name was) and after completing official campaign, turn your attention to bioware's nwn forums and to this site http://nwvault.ign.com/ Also, in Diamond pack you get 3 (or 4, can't remember did Infinite Dungeons come with it) premium modules, which are modules made by Bioware. I haven't played them, but I've heard that they are ok. And in NWN there is many so called "Persistent Worlds" which are little bit like MMORPG'S, though without stupid "lolz, I am the pr0, let's go to grind" guys and are free. One very good ROLEPLAY PW is http://www.nwnravenloft.com/ that. If you aren't familiar with Ravenloft, you could do search in Wikipedia or read from that site. (though in Wiki info is much more easily available for new players. I mean, in that site there is words, names etc. unuseful information unless you are going to play on that site. And NWN 2 is naturally sequel to this awesome game, and in hands of OE, I trust that it'll be quality. Many great module builders are all ready designing their campaings for NWN 2's toolset, such as Hugie etc. And propably most Kotor 1 like is Jade Empire, which will become to PC during this year. It was Bioware's Xbox game. About influence system as it is in Kotor 2: IMO it is only on k2 and NWN 2. It is after all quite new invention. Oh, and I didn't like them personally, but Icewind Dale 1 & 2 are good games too. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is pure gold, but it is different style than Kotors and such, as it isn't D&D. I hope that this helps little bit

Exactly. And Kreia believes in sith teachings. Student must overcome the master. If you wouldn't be strong enough to kill her, she would've been dissapointed and killed you. End of the story edit: Oh, Purgatorio said same thing

Oh crap, there was other opinion too. I say Executor. (I wouldn't say DS as ship)

The Korriban tomb, and the vision of Revan.
Xard replied to KOTORFanactic's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
HUH? Umm...WTF are you talking about? -
And you have read posts of this topic, haven't you? <_< All we know that Revan is somewhere from Outer Rim.
-
It is in LS ending <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would explain then. I always play darkside. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh my, K2 was published 2005 and you still haven't played as LS single time? Wow! (w00t) Well, remember what Atton says: "She might've been beatiful once" etc. talking about requiring hard living to get such face etc. It is possible that Kreia is Arren Kae.

What game is better san andreas or kotor2
Xard replied to chris the jedi killer's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Exactly. SA is good game, but not that good. And definetly you can't compare SA and k2. -
She didn't kill anyone

Most powerful Jedi.

Kun got everybody by surprise. And like I've said some 100 time allready, Luke is much more powerful later than he was during Search of the jedi etc. trilogy in which ghost of Exar Kun was. It is like if you compare lvl 4 Revan to lvl 20 Revan <_< -
Silence! *Paladins starts to smite Tratious*

Wooki/Wiki-pedia is amateur content...might be right, might not be. until LFL establishes more about the identities or Revan and the Exile, they will just be in limbo. I also believe this is one of the big holdups with K3....all the dangling continuity issues by having a pregen with a premade backstory. we CANNOT have another Revan nor even another Exile. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Excuse me but wookiepedia is much more reliable tan wikipedia. It can be trusted. I have encountered only few mistakes in there. Mostly everything that is in there is true. And yes, Revan's real name is Revan. Exile could be Bail Organa or Crappy Bantha

It is in LS ending

Yes she did "I though you died in Mandalorian Wars" like Vrook said

Nio proof for that resumption. Spirit cannot be weakened, and he possessed "fresh" body anyway. -
Bastilla, I think that your sig is too big

Yeah, it can escape, but that is all. EH is too much like Millenium Falcon

And as I said, Atris being Darth Traya was cut. Atris was not referred as Darth Traya in neither of those. K:{Sighs, a little quieter}And there must always be a Darth Traya. The galaxy needs its betrayers, especially in the times to come. That can mean nearly anything, or better to be said, everyone. You have to remember that player may kill Atris if (s)he wants, so she might not even be alive in "times to come". K: For you... it is different. That for you it doesn't mean that she is Darth Traya. Atris believes strongly in titles. You are sith? Fine, thou shalt be smited. You are Jedi? Well, you better probe yourself to be. To her titles holds great significance. And lets not forget what she tells you about three sith lords if you ask her. Can't remember it correctly, but she said that she hides, and if she would now be revealed, Galaxy would be doomed or something like. Haven't played game in last to months, so can't remeber exactly. Was after Peragus IMO. Someone who is good to search voice files might like to find that one However, it doesn't matter when Atris is revealed. K: *Snip* Her teachings could not be allowed to continue. So she was needed to be revealed. Duh, this is pointless unless I find that dialog file, but I am not going to play game again just because of this (like I said already) and I am very poor searcher of dialog files.

Star Wars Galaxies: A empire divided
Xard replied to dewaybe2678's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
SWG was not bad at first, so I understand that someone has played it for three years. But I've heard too that they chanced whole system to Everquest style when latest expansion came. Duh. -
came in kinda useful against that blasted storm beast.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, and made end game to be BORING.

Most powerful Jedi.
Xard replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Sorry but you can't go unchallenged for 100 years and not be the most powerful especially in a time of some of the powerful sith lords. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jaden Korr (which is just another NR era jedi knight) defeated him. Lame, but long as we consider EU-canon, it is so that Jaden and many jedis who are stronger than him, can win Ragnos. I don't like that crappy ending where you defeat Ragnos - well, easily - but it is eu-canon, so, say sorry. edit: But yeah, I agree with Lilandra. Close to be strongest one, but isn't after all.
