Official Keys Thread v 1.01
ShadySands replied to VladWorks's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Is there any particular reason why things like the almanac, guidebook, wallpapers... any reward outside the ones you mentioned and the strategy guide (because spoilers) can't be available previously to launch? I would have loved to be able to read a bit of the guidebook before playing the game. I am not sure of the particulars. I will talk with Darren tomorrow to figure out if it is possible. I know we would still like additional testing on some of the reward downloaders. I volunteer to be a guinea pig -
Not really. It has had a spate of ads on youtube recently. Apparently a vampire with a bumpy scythe/stick thing kills people or whatever. Basically its being pushed as the game that finally makes a ps4 worth owning. Or something. If there is something special or interesting about it, well that escapes me entirely. Hmm, maybe I'll check it out as I/we have a PS4 but not a single game I/we am/are interested in

The Great Game Giveaway: Tuesday Edition
ShadySands replied to ShadySands's topic in Computer and Console
I have two extra copies of that new Obsidian game but instead of the usual first come first serve I think a simple competition is in order My favorite two haikus (if I even get any takers) by this time tomorrow will get the prizes (Steam or GOG) EDIT: Please also say if you prefer GOG or Steam so if you are one of the winners I can just deliver the key right away- 487 replies

Update 91: Closing in on March 26th!
ShadySands replied to BAdler's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Steam don't create the keys themselves, they get given keys by Paradox (I think). I'm pretty sure that's not accurate -

"Alien 5" Changed Due To "Prometheus 2" As far as I'm concerned Prometheus never happened... which is weird because they are making a sequel to a movie that never happened

Online stores that sell motorcycling gear have a lot of variety. There's bound to be something you like. I've been looking in online motorcycle shops but they only sell protective ones, army shops sell only clumsy security gloves and all the other usual suspects of online shops have only winter gloves. I want those that are so short they barely go up to the wrist and so thin that they feel like a second skin which allows me to operate small controls of cameras, phones, small tools etc. I hear OJ was fond of Isotoners My first thoughts were (American) football and driving/racing gloves

I'm still hyped for this but I can see how someone married to the D&D rules would not be. Resting and per day/encounter stuff was what I liked the least about D&D and while I can't say I'm a fan of the HP bloat I can understand that they don't want the fights to be over in a couple seconds. I remain cautiously optimistic
