My wife's friends helped out with the prep but I made everything except the cauliflower

Made some more tamales Tonight we are having steaks with a mushroom brandy cream sauce, grilled scallions, mashed cauliflower, brussel sprouts with bacon and shallots, and honey glazed carrots Followed by too many tamales and leftover chitlins then we'll see where the night takes us

For my first feat of strength I will make 2 more batches of tamales

Happy Festivus! I made tamales and chitlins then gave my dogs a bath and took care of my sick wife. I also cleaned up a bit since no cleaning lady this week

I just want a pretty box. I don't care if it's empty, I might even prefer it to be empty. I'd rather the money be spent on kumquats and imported cheese's or whatever fuels video game development Bonus points if it's a signed empty box

Larceny Bourbon I haven't even tasted it yet just been smelling it for about an hour Update - finally got around to tasting it. Good flavor as I like wheated bourbons but it tastes hotter than I'd expect at 92 proof but at under 25 bucks for a fifth I can recommend it

Out of curiosity, how many Americans say that they are English by heritage? I mean, we get Irish-Americans, and Scot-Americans who proudly claim their heritage (or at least the Hollywood version of their heritage and large drinking). Personally, I've known a few who considered themselves English-Americans but as the gentleman above me already said most people use Anglo. I don't know if I've seen it movies or shows with the possible exception of some set in ye olde 'Murica

This is one of the things that bugs me the most about the game. It's so close to being a really amazing game but they never go all the way or they switch directions or just flat out drop the ball. It makes me wish for a truly single player (even if co-op leaning) Star Wars RPG where it can be truly reactive
