  1. I want California to leave Texas too Hmm, I think I could go for something like this
  2. Supposedly someone hit the weekly CXP cap already and is at rank 100. The claim is that they did it grinding elites and champions for something like 15 hours the first day nonstop to rank 43 then got the rest the following two days. The math seems a little off even with botting so I dunno. Even with disintegrating every RNG item I'm not sure where to find a place that densely packed with elites and champs to net 318k CXP in 3 days, an OP or HM FP maybe? But would that be soloable? Grinding mobs the most steady stream of CXP I've found so far even after running a dozen uprisings. But I'm so bored with it now that I'm thinking of unsubbing for a while Edit - I take it back, I can totally see it now that I have more details Edit2 - it was just open world nonstop grinding in a raid. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=901598&page=10
  3. My guess for leaving the galaxy would either be the reapers or just because

  5. So the 1-2 women in your deployment didnt do the same physical training you did which I would expect ? The reason I ask is in movies like Full Metal Jacket you see this, IMO, really rigorous basic training that marines are subjected to and I am genuinely wondering if a women would be able to compete at the same level as men? 4 Let me ask the question a different way. When you were in Iraq were the women doing the same job as you as direct deployment or did they do other jobs like signals, medical, transport , intelligence etc. From what I recall (I've never seen the movie proper just clips here and there) the FMJ training scenes take place in boot camp and as I said boot camp is separate for men and women so I have no idea what they do. When I was in some their fitness standards were lower than ours in the physical and combat fitness tests that we did the same but I don't know how that's changed since I've been out. As far as competing against men then it depends what it is. A couple women in my company were always at or near the top when it came to the rifle range and run times and one could max out the male PFT pull ups and all. Were they weaker than men in general? Yes, of course they were as the average man is stronger than the average woman In Iraq it didn't really matter as everybody does their job, whatever it is, at the risk of their life because there were no safe spaces... hell even the small church on post took IDF more than once. Combat roles were not open to women at the time but that did not mean that they never saw combat or were out of danger
  6. And I'm sure you know everything there is to know about war and that 'meat grinder'...
  7. I wouldn't force women to fight in the first place. There's no equality on this issue, men are natural killers, women are not. If they volunteer, that's a different story. This. I thinking drafting women is uncivilized for a number of reasons. If they want to fight, ok, but they have to be placed in suitable combat situations. Front lines or close quarter combat, they just wouldn't be as effective. Also, women combatants would have much more to lose if they were captured by the likes of Isis. You guys do realize that the military isn't entirely infantry and special forces, right? Most women would not qualify for those roles, hell, a lot of men don't even qualify for them This is making me think it's even a better idea than I did before because hopefully people like you would then oppose any unnecessary war that might require a draft Shady when you trained for the marines before you were deployed how many women did the marine training in your unit? Basic training and combat training are segregated but your MOS(military job) school is coed. Field exercises and weapons training are coed as well but often you are not with just your unit especially with larger exercises. There weren't many women in my unit but I couldn't give you an exact count, my platoon had 1 or 2 depending on the deployment

  9. I haven't seen that bug in any of my 3 playthroughs, sorry
  10. Let them? As RND said it's equality
  11. I'm with Keyrock on this. I don't like the Vancian spell system at all and in the last DnD game I really enjoyed, NWN2, I was a warlock so that I could still be a caster and not have to deal with that system.
  12. I just wanted to take a moment to honor and thank the real hero Thank you Keyrock. Thank you for not posting a Jerry Jones picture this week. I was starting to have really weird dreams and not good weird either but rather twisted nightmares of dark eldritch horrors that were slowly driving me mad.
  13. You most definitely do have more than 16 posts but the ones in Way Off Topic don't count towards your tally
  14. Did my first uprising, Inferno, and it wasn't very interesting as we just blew through waves of standard mobs with a few strong mobs mixed in between zerging from boss to boss. It was on story difficulty and I can see how this would be soloable once I get better gear. Maybe I'll try a veteran one next Speaking of gear, I just went ahead and upgraded my 220/224 mixed stuff for 228 crafted gear and am now working on augmenting it all. Got a few crafted 230 items in my implant and ear slots. I figured that I might as well since I'm not going up to the next tier of gear for several months unless they drastically lower the CXP requirements. Barely hit rank 10 and every level has a higher requirement than the previous one Edit- Running the Done and Dusted uprising solo and so far so good but the second boss is giving me a bit of trouble because since it's just me and my healing companion and she's got a lot of stuns and knockbacks. I've only really died twice, once because I replaced Arcann with Lana and didn't notice she was in tank stance and another time because Arcann forgot he was healing after we moved into a new area so he just stood there on the threshold navel gazing. I've had this fight reset on me three times as well, twice due to knockbacks (me once when the boss was at 63%, Lana once when the boss was at 38%) and once just randomly. I'm sure I can beat this fight but it's going to take a while due to the mechanics and bloated health. I'm going to stop and try another one with less bosses PS you can't stealth around any mobs because there are barriers that only come down when all are defeated Edit2 - was able to solo Fractured in story mode with no problem
  15. ya got an important issue, pony up, pardner.I wish I could influence the national discussion but I'm just a random guy on a random website Who gives away free games to, the horror, people who haven't earned them by the sweat of their brow! Communist! You seek to use your vile whiles undetermine the capitalist game distribution systems and bring games to the masses! You're a monster! A red menace! And I cannot keep a straight face typing this any longer so I'll stop there. I've been discovered

  17. Flag burning? Did we run out of actual important issues to worry about
  18. I agree that they are great and were the only reason I had for doing heroics before 5.0 dropped... but 25 times the costs?
  19. I finally made my way over to check out the new gift shop on the fleet now that you can buy all levels of gifts for credits Blue rank 5 gifts 5k Purple rank 5 gifts 10k Orange rank 6 gifts 250k Unless you just have money to blow and hate having it why wouldn't you just get the purple rank 5 gifts???
  20. So just add this #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement to everything he says?
  21. Update! I've been running around the heroic areas on Dromund Kaas, especially the areas around the world boss and the Mandalorians, because there are a lot of elites and champions that respawn quickly and go down without much effort. I've been able to really grind out a lot of easy but very boring command XP this way. Also, following Gromnir's lead and stacking gifts for the Chiss Jedi for Friday.
  22. The tier 2 (rank 90-179) stuff should be a definite improvement but the tier 1 stuff isn't really, not enough to be worth it anyway. It seems pretty badly designed or rather badly designed and with people with 190-208 rating gear in mind as even the random drops are like 210. But yeah, since it's all random I feel like it's just better to try to get to the tier 3 gear as fast as possible and not even bother with the middle tier either. Edit - though if it takes long enough to move from t2 to t3 I may just try to get the crafted gear if I haven't stopped playing because of the grind Anyway, finished all the chapters now and ran a few heroics to test and it's going to be painful for a solo player like me with mostly off hour play times. I'm hearing that Ops with tons of elite and /or champion trash mobs and ranked PvP are the way to go right now. Going to try uprisings tomorrow and see how that goes.
