  1. Hit the Conquest button after making a character and you get the introduction to the universe. Nah you don't. You get a series of choices to make in a conquest campaign of a place you know nothing of at the moment. And you care not for the moment. Couldn't disagree more I thought it was a great intro to the game world
  2. Because it's there. Pretty much this Like how some are focused on a Mars colony when a moon colony would be easier and cheaper
  3. I tried to watch that last night but my wife got bored less than 5 minutes in so I'll try to squeeze it in today before she gets home
  4. Did the thing, took the dogs for a long walk around the football stadium, and took a bath* Hope everything turned out okay with the hostage situation *glorious event pictured below
  5. Finished second run but going to hold off for some patches before diving back in
  6. I actually remember the Nintendo Power Line Never called it because we didn't have a phone but that takes me back
  7. My problem is that there are very few games I'm interested in. These isometric party based RPGs (Tyranny and PoE) are right up my alley but it's a really narrow alley So when a game comes out that I actually like I tend to play the hell out of it
  8. This is what I feared, I probably won't be getting it. Not that I always stay away from that kind of content, far from it - but in this isometric party-based CRPG format, I'm not exactly chuffed to bits, enduring choices and consequences in a 20h stream of contrived evil deeds. I'm looking forward to Torment (Ironic, given its title, no?) and PoE2. On the plus side most of the quests like that have multiple resolutions so you don't have to be all grimdark all the time or even most of the time. The NPCs sometimes even react to it if they feel you are too nice or too merciful
  9. Almost done with my second playthrough of Tyranny. Going to wait for more patches or whatever until I do a third so not sure what I'm going to play in between since the next SWTOR "expansion" doesn't come out until the end of the month. Maybe I'll finally get around to TWitcher 3 but the second game turned me off of the series so much that it's going to take a miracle to get me to finally install it So probably more CK2 and Stellaris
  10. I don't think it ever gets to the point of Stabby McStabinson IV but some of the crazy people faction have some pretty out there names, more along the lines of Mad Max style names. Toecutter, Moon Bloodgood, Tom Petty, etc
  11. I do believe Ashe explains how he got his name if you go the Disfavored path but in general if you are already bothered it's only going to get worse in the naming department
  12. Ran into another bug and can't complete the Language of the Ancients quest at the Burning Library. I've done everything and the quest says to return to the quest giver and after I go through the convo nothing happens, quest doesn't update or complete.
  13. They typically have substance abuse problems that eliminate any type of profit they may be making. If I have time I give them food and clothes (especially in the winter) over money I've only ever met one guy that passed and only wanted money and I so ended up not giving him anything
  14. New Inhumans TV show? I dunno, I kinda stopped watching Agents of SHIELD last season
  15. Pretty much this I prefer Tyranny but only Pillars has shapeshifting and summoning
  16. You were probably just overthinking it I thought the puzzles were more complicated than they ended up being the first time I played it too
  17. I'm pretty sure that I did it in the order you did too Double checked and confirmed I did it in the same order
  18. It's good in a way, yes If you want to keep them dependent on the US then maybe not as good
  19. I'm not sure what's going on in that picture but there are only 2 things you have to do in this dungeon.
  20. The color puzzles? Different colors activate different switches. You can just try them all since there is never more than 3 (4 for the very last puzzle) colors except for the ones what want the torchkeys from other dungeons but even then it's still SSDD and even then it's extra areas and side quests PS the ones that require multiple colors in a certain order also give hints on some loot drops but even here you can just try all combos
  21. I mostly give to local homeless shelters, animal shelters, and food banks Some larger places I donate to that haven't already been mentioned are Planned Parenthood and ASPCA
  22. This seems to be the default choice for most people on the first run. Anybody chose chorus, rebels or nobody? I'd recommend someone side with either the Chorus or the Disfavored on their first run too The Scarlet Chorus and Disfavored split is more of a chaos or order choice so it's not surprising to me that more people are siding with order even if they are brutal in their methods and somewhat rigid in their thinking
