Current job is trying to put together a counter offer to the new offer I got. I didn't think they'd fight so hard to keep me. I know they can't match the money but money isn't everything. I'm curious to see what they come up with.

Sorry to hear that Hurl. I never had an issue with my hybrid back when I had it but it was only for like 4 years so maybe it would have fell apart of I had held onto it a little longer.

Lost my license somehow and the DMV hours are my exact work hours so I can't go before or after work and get a new one. I could order a new one online but they don't issue temp docs so I would still be screwed until it came in the mail.

Got an official offer from one of the other companies that was interested in me. I was hoping they were just blowing smoke so I wouldn't have to really consider jumping ship so soon after taking my current job. My commute would increase slightly but my pay would also increase quite a bit. Dunno, what to do at the moment since my current company has promised me a raise in the next couple of months but I highly doubt it'd even be close to the other company's offer. As problems go this is probably a good one to have but I can't help but feel guilty about the whole thing.

Yeah, but that's pretty normal with most subcultures I've seen

I don't play any games unless I have to tinker with my config.sys and autoexec.bat files to get them to run. I'm all digital everything but I think Steam and PSN are clunky even though I have a lot of games on both of them. I have no brand loyalty so if you give me a good experience at a good price then you have my custom.

If only I'd read any them Maybe I could fudge it from the movies
