I'd say just wear the earplugs A buddy of mine from the military participates in similar events all the time and he didn't like wearing them either but never found anything that worked better. In the end he hated water in his ears more than earplugs

I got some + medium laser that does like 35 damage for 1 ton and 1 slot. I feel like the + stuff is often better than the LosTech stuff. Can't wait to get some +++ LRMs

Replaced my faulty ChromeCast with a Roku Stick + and my wife is loving the fact that it has its own remote in addition to an app that can control it. She's been dragging her feet to install stuff on her phone because she forgot the password.

I think by the time I got to 2 skulls I had 2 or 3 heavies. I can't imagine trying to do with light and mediums. Agreed on the LRM spam, never works as well when I try to do it either.

I do believe they're all from PGI. I don't think HBS made any of them themselves Anyways, I'm plugging along with my modded 55 ton Blackjack. It has two upgraded AC/5s and a couple of medium pulse lasers. I toyed around with ER PPCs replacing the AC/5s but the heat was too much to manage on a mech of this size. Even with double heatsinks. But it's as I feared, I'm spending way more time modding than playing.

You can speed up repairs, healing, and travel by editing a file. Can reduce injury chance too. I'm still tweaking settings and haven't found that sweet spot yet. I saw a mod to add in the Warhammer but it's the new reimagined version so I passed on it for now. I think they're supposed to add it in officially some time after launch along with the Marauder and a few more "reseen" mechs.

I created a 55 ton Blackjack variant with some LosTech weapons and equipment upgrades. I've tried to keep all internal weight and slots kosher even though the game doesn't check for it because my headcanon is that my family Blackjack is some old Star League prototype. Problem is that if my stuff gets destroyed I can't replace it but I kinda like that as it makes me play much more cautiously than I would otherwise. I really wish the game had some more mech models

My wife is all about weird breads but I'm still on Wonder Bread with the occasional dalliance into Texas toast. I just went in the kitchen to check and my wife has 6 different breads. Russian rye, Jewish rye with pumpernickel, ciabatta, French, sourdough, and some weird super dense dark loaf of something with nuts and seeds and bits of neutron star.
