I gave myself a King Crab to start in my super cheese playthrough that I dropped after the 3rd story mission. Right now I'm just playing with a few added weapons like inferno SRMs and a few damage and heat tweaks.

I'm with Fiach on this one, training helps a lot but people will still break/freeze/panic. Part of the reason for executing deserters was to give them something else to fear. Fight and you may die, don't fight and you'll definitely die.

Thinking of getting back into martial arts. I did it quite a bit in the military and for a little while after. I only stopped because I couldn't fit it into my schedule anymore. All the places near me seem more traditional and focused but all my experience is in mixed martial arts so it's a little intimidating starting anew. Just need to pick one and try it I guess.

I just wanted to add that I didn't think the movie was bad or anything but that the stakes are so obviously artificial that there's no investment. There are a lot of cool scenes and moments but not a lot of point to it all.

I didn't back it at a high enough level but that's probably for the best. With BattleTech now and Deadfire in two a weeks.
