That's a good point but it actually makes me want that option even more. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, maybe things go horribly wrong and a defeated Thaos ends up winning in the end because of your thirst for power/knowledge/cool headgear. The game already gives you "bad options" that can result in your death so I don't really see a problem with that being a possibility.

I was surprised there was no option to try to absorb Thaos' soul like you could with Maerwald

I think you hit on the biggest part of why business good and gov't bad. With Facebook and Google you have to opt-in but the government can just do it with no permission needed or even requested. Of course the gov't already has all my info but I voluntarily gave it by first joining the military then joining the global travel program because I hate lines

Finished Altered Carbon and really enjoyed it. Hoping they make a second season but if not I'll definitely pick up the books

Pistols can gib people in real life but only if you crit. Maybe try punching as you shoot to give your shot some more power. Oh, and please be careful to not jerk the gun to the side because you don't want to accidentally curve the bullet. PS saying pew pew can't hurt either but be warned that any increase to crit chance lowers the firebug proc rate on the unlabored blade by the same amount.
