Yeah, I highly doubt that they'd do anything other than isometric but if they did then that'd kill any interest I currently have.

#BlueLivesMatter unless they are coming after us

Today I learned that male bears are called boars and females are called sows. Thank you funny things thread. When I was a young warthog, on a rare trip with my extended family up in the mountains around Pinetop-Lakeside, I once had a crazy bear encounter. I like to tell the story as if the bear chased us and we outran it but the truth is that we heard something that we thought sounded like a bear and then we ran in the opposite direction knowing deep down that we didn't have to outrun the bear and we only had to not be the slow one. I kinda feel bad for my youngest cousin (only by a couple of years) because he was crying as we all passed him but thinking back I remember that they all took off running before and without me so who's the real bad guy. Almost as soon as I reached the head of the pack a gunshot or something like it rang out ahead of us. We stopped and looked at each other, young(er) cousin still way in the back, then all bolted off to the right of the direction we had been running. We really didn't have much choice because it's not like we wanted to go back towards the maybe but probably very likely a bear.Anyways, the right seemed and was the correct direction to go as it wasn't who knows how much later that we'd made our way back "home" to what could generously be described as a cabin. And our bear bait slowpoke cousin arrived a good minute or so later still crying but generally uneaten and gunshot. I think we got into some serious trouble that day, my friends, and I don't think anyone believed our story until the next day when we'd heard that someone had shot at (or possibly just saw) a bear in the woods somewhere around where we were. I'm pretty sure I've shared that one before

I also don't know any vets like that but then again I also don't hang around many vets.. and even less police. Anyways, bourbon over scotch even though I do enjoy that too and I might have to go with the 91 Eagles over the Bears and the Steelers. The others should be pretty obvious

I would definitely not be interested in a Bethesda D&D game but luckily for me I doubt they'd be interested in it either. I'm also not a big Larian fan but at least their games tick a few more boxes for me than the Elder Scrolls with guns and (nu)Fallout with swords walking simulators. The problem I have with D:OS and D:OS2 is that they don't really draw me in and I never have an urge to come back to them. This was especially true with the second game as I didn't enjoy the combat mechanics and the story didn't make me want to know what happens next.

Seems an odd thing that the government can do and I'm fairly certain it's not a good thing Poor Katphood

I'm sure Trump could make Iran pay for the drone... with tariffs But seriously, retaliatory strikes seem premature. I'm in agreement that they need to build a case and get international support before they start killing people and my snide opening remark aside, I wouldn't doubt that could get more than enough money from them somehow. Seems better than yet another war.

That's an interesting way of naming people. I hope you keep the screenshots coming because I'm very interested in seeing if that naming convention continues.

Vampiric Illithid exist but they are feral and not all that intelligent. Maybe an Illithid lich would fit the bill better.

And now for something completely different Supreme Court: Cross Can Stand On Public Land In Separation Of Church And State Case I'm confused on how the cross is now to be considered secular but its removal would be hostile to religion but I guess that's why I'm not on the Supreme Court

Curious about this as I thought 5E was hundreds of years later. How are Minsc and (especially) Boo still alive? I'm not complaining if they show up because Minsc almost always had a spot in my BG2 parties.

Looking forward to the multiplayer loot shooter -
I saw Predator 2 first and it remains my favorite I think of the Fast and the Furious as a series of movies that goes bigger, harder, faster with each sequel. I mean, they started as relatively low level illegal street racers and thieves and now they're all international superman everythings.

Finished Jessica Jones, she finally got not stupid somewhere close to the end.

In-laws arrive tonight to meet their grandson This is going to be interesting as they are a lot more free with their opinions than the family that was here last week. I'll be fine (thanks to thick skin, alcohol, and the language barrier) but I worry for my wife's sanity or what's left of it anyway. Happy Juneteenth!

Pachfinder Bugmaker: The Rekkoning

It's been one of my top games of the last umpteen years and (after they fixed a bunch of stuff and I used mods for the rest) my only complaint is that I wish there was even more content to play through. Algroth's point about speeding through the combat and whatnot may be a good choice if you want to experience the story but the combat isn't grabbing you. For me, I don't care much for lower level D&D combat so I did not enjoy the combat in the very beginning but I found myself liking it more as the game went on. -
