Spellward Amulet...
According to wiki, spell is rather broad category: http://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Spell It's one of those early game items with end game potential. Oh and it also gives +10 deflection vs spells as some of them target it.

Paladin Modals/Auras
I did Raedric fight, without bottlenecking, with 8 CON pally, no LoH and with Endurance aura. My other frontline was Eder. XP level was either 4 or half 4 half 5. Difficulty PotD. IIRC only one squishy backliner has dropped in this fight.

Main Character (Paladin) sharing Lillith's Shawl sneak buff with party
hilfazer replied to sapientNode's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)By design. It has "Aura of Stealth" property.

What is healing done% for items?
It's bugged and does nothing. OEI is aware of it. I'm pretty sure it should affect endurance and output heals, same as might does. Not sure about health.

Idiot's Guide to RTwP?
There are two auto pause options i have turned on (among others): 1. Enemy spotted - it allows you to enter sneak mode an prepare 2. Combat started - it allows you to use combat-only spells ASAP It may take some time before you get used to having them both on, but i find it worth it.

Confirmed - per-encounter spells are getting nerfed
Their new approach is biased towards buffs (or more generally: duration spells) as you only need to cast one such spell per combat. Now, who has the best buffs? Priests, hands down. But also wizards - they don't buff others but can buff themselves like a pigs. Druids are relatively ****ty at buffs in PoE. So the weakest Vancian caster gets hurt the most.

Paladin Modals/Auras
It doesn't matter much if you have a priest. He will just cast different buff (Bless or Armor of Faith). Bless + Endurance advantages: - +10% more damage - 15% hits to grazes Armor + Focus advantages: - +1 DR - +1 ACC - 15% grazes to hits Hits to grazes is better as it affects up to 50% of all attacks while grazes to hits affects up to 35%. It's also harder to obtain. Critical Focus is seriously UP ATM, just so you know. Pally has many better things to pick.

Need help vs Maerwald on POTD
Fan of flames has short range - keep some distance with your backline. And use Potions of Bulwark Against the Elements.
-
Critical Focus UP.
And if we do not ignore Graze to Hit conversion Critical focus would need another 5% Hit to Crit conversion. It would need to be quadrupled.

Can somone explain Might to me. I think this is wrong: picture provided
Your damage range already includes might bonus. If you want to see base weapon damage right click it and check second range under 'Damage:' label. "MIN" should only appear when incoming damage is reduced to 20% of it's value, in this case 25.0 * 0.2 = 5.0 damage done. But it's not the case - incoming damage and damage dealt are both equal to 25.0. Most likely a bug.

Confirmed - per-encounter spells are getting nerfed
Do You people believe this change to per-encounter spells was Obsidian's doing? Fools! It was all Infinitron's and curryinahurry's fault! Just look at their suggestions: Obsidian merely just merged and then implemented both of them.

Devil of Caroc far worse than other rogues? (gameplay discussion only, avoid story spoilers pls)
She was created by master Galvino, not by gods. BTW Zahua misses 3 points. Looks like suffering doesn't make you stronger after all

Ranger vs Rogue to build a ranged DPS?
Rogue. He's pure DPS. With ranged weapon it's gonna be pure ranged DPS. Max PER and DEX before MIG because rogue has a lot of +% damage. Ranger's damage will always be partially (or wholly) melee because of companion. Ranger is a mix of damage, control and holding the line (with companion).

Are per encounter spells needed? And are they balanced?
Winter Wind and Blizzard already do.

Keeping them down! Or how dumb can you be and get the most out of Tall Grass.
Half-Mast - prone on crit, slash/crush damage type and is already superb.

Paladin Support AI on Enemies
Still happens with 2.02 beta patch. Paladin tried to cast Liberating Exhortation on enemy charmed with Whisper of Treason.

Good dps builds with flails?
My stormcalling ranger disagrees (:

"Universal" weapon types in 2.02?
I guess summoned weapons are like soulbound ones - they can use any weapon focus/specialization.

Anyone notice the Firebrand nerf in 2.0?
What's sad about Firebrand is no accuracy bonus. Wizards can buff themselves like a pig and yet their summoned weapons give accuracy bonus. Druids can't. Reflex may be second highest save but is by far easiest to debuff. IMHO this change was unnecessary from balance perspective.

Good research. Care to do some more with attack speed buffs? Or maybe better not. If we'll talk too much about this weapon it may get destroyed ):

Good dps builds with flails?
Probably problems with overcoming DR. It's fast weapon with low damage and it's special does not help with crits nor with DR bypass. Graze to hit conversion becomes less powerful as your accuracy grows and patch 2.0 upped accuracy and downed deflection. You could wear just single flail for accuracy buff ( more crits ) but it would ruin flail's special.
