To make an effective Frostseeker build you should crit a lot which means very high accuracy. The cipher can debuff deflection by 20 (Phantom Foes+Psychovampiric Shield) and buff his own accuracy by 25 (Borrowed Instinct + Tactical Meld). The helwalker is a good combo for most ranged builds but his accuracy isn't that great (a better combo is helwalker/rogue with dual mortars/the Red Hand). For the cipher I recommend the ascendant subclass for the 40% dmg bonus (Biting Whip + Ascended). For the ranger I usually recommend Ghost Heart, however for Frostseeker I would go with the Arcane Archer because of the great synergy with Imbue: Eora (the only Imbue worth using at high lvl).

I think your tanks aren't sturdy enough... Their defenses should be high enough to reduce the critical chance of the enemies at least to single digits (to avoid over penetration from crits), while the biggest chunk of the damage should be reduced by their armor (the enemies should always have their damage reduced by 75% when they hit them). With your party you can easily achieve very high armor (brigandines+Woodskin+Pain Block) and your tanks have enough passive healing to become immortals (Exalted Endurance+Ancient Memory+Pain Block). Also don't forget to use Shield Wall when facing ranged attackers... You also have summons and your ranger's pet (a bear can become pretty sturdy too if you have one) at your disposal to take care of the enemies who manage to pass your tanks.

Bombs can be quite effective even for late game if you invest in them. The main drawbacks are the cost and the fact you have to replenish them often. With Berath's Blessings it's possible to reach 30+ in Explosives and you can increase their damage even further with Crusted Swordfish food, High Harbinger's Robes, Sash of Judgement and/or Harley pet. Other nice additions to a bomber build can be Thao's Headdress/Acina's Tricorn, Keeper of the Flame (with Sweet Aroma) and the Ring of Prosperity's Fortune. For example the Concussion Bomb can deal 90+ avg dmg (without crits), with 17 pen and 130+ accuracy (depending on the builds)...

Both are good, but overall I would say Captain's Banquet is more useful because the extra speed/immunities are always good and you can switch to Essence Interrupter against enemies with high armor.

Ondra's Wrath has only 5% chance to trigger, which means you need packs of 5+ enemies to chain trigger it consistently. In these situations Watershaper's Focus will outdamage Frostseeker. However Frostseeker is much more flexible and does also great single target damage as long as your relative accuracy is high. For consistent high single target damage in TB you should use Dragon's Dowry with the 30% lash and the modal activated.

If you want ranged dps then Arcane Archer/Ascendant with Frostseeker - great dps and synergy (high accuracy + Driving Flight + Frostseeker + Pull of Eora). If you want to play mostly as a caster then go Helwalker/Ascendant... https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/114109-best-bow-user/?do=findComment&comment=2197829

You need more than deflection to be able to tank the mega-bosses because they have abilities/spells targeting all defenses... The herald is the best tank overall (high passive defense/healing) and he's also a great addition for any party because of his auras/chants. The herald can tank (and even solo) all the mega-bosses but it's not always the best strategy...

I recommend maxing MIG instead of DEX. While the monk can have +15MIG on paper, it rarely happens in practice. WotW has very high cost which can become unsustainable if you also have to use Thunderous Blows on top. Also if you want to be able to spam WotW at high level you can't use 2 mortars anymore. Also you should keep in mind that mortars have low base dmg and are more suitable for CC than damage (Avenging Storm can't be used very often). If you want to keep your dual mortars until the end of the game a monk/rogue is more suitable because you can apply multiple bleeds/debuffs in an AoE with the mortars.

At low-mid level you should use good armor to reduce the incoming damage and don't stack too much wounds... You can also play as a ranged character in the beginning. The constitution makes very little difference in the beginning and becomes useless for the end game. As a monk you should in fact avoid being hit by using CCs (Efficient Anguish -> Stunning Surge/Raised Torment -> Whispers of the Wind) too much and generate wounds in a controlled way.

For a monk in turn based mode you can dump con, dex and res to 3 (or as low as you're comfortable with). After that Int>Per>Mig, but don't let your might under 15 because it affects healing, fortitude and it's the only stat that can increase directly your damage (also you won't be able to maintain max wounds once you get WotW).

Not true, he can't kil the ooze and I doubt he can kill the water dragon either. A psion/assassin could kill them (use Disintegration vs Hauani), however he will also have a hard time against the water dragon. But waiting 2hrs for a boss to die from bleeding isn't very fun. (And in theory all classes can exploit this trick using Lover's Embrace/potions of invisibility.)

Hauani takes 1 hour... With optimized gear Dorudugan can be killed in less than 20 min by a herald. The monk becomes OP when he gets WotW, until then he struggles and has to skip many fights... Another strong solo class is the bloodmage/paladin - he performs better than the herald against Hauani, but he has a harder battle against Dorudugan. The tactician/assassin is probably the most OP class, save vs Hauani. It's the most effective as a sniper, but it works very well as a melee too (infinite Unbending helps). I never tried using Wahai Poraga with Mule Kick, but if the knock up is applied to all the targets it hits while giving your discipline back, it might be a solution... PS. Forgot about soulblade/paladin using Sun and Moon/Tuotilo's Palm. He can kill easily Hauani - when less than 25% health left cast Disintegration and finish him with Marux Amanth. In theory he can kite Dorudugan or use Nomad's Brigandine to avoid his attacks in melee. I'm pretty sure you can also tank him because you can reach 21 melee AR as a paladin, reducing his damage by 75%. The only problem is the AoE fire attacks will heal him back and I'm not sure the dps will be enough to kill him (the herald can also tank him in melee, but can't kill him because of that).
