They have a fairly bad reputation when it comes to quality and quality control... Two bad combinations there. I wouldn't do business with them.

Never heard of Cyberpower. Go with Dell since its a major computer company plus they usually get good reviews for their PCs. I build my own. This way I have what I want and none of that junk computer vendors may package or the cheap hardware they have installed.

Since this is a CPU thread, which of these is better the Core 2 Duo E6850 or the Core 2 Quad Q6600? There both near the same price, in my price range but the E6850 cost a little more than the Quad.

A great card. Top of the line ATI card at the moment. If I get two of those and hook them up in Crossfire, I won't have to update my system for many years. They'll go great with this board.

Now that I have an account at Newegg, I'll be buying some hardware from them for my upcoming computer build. The HIS 3870 will be the card for my new machine. I'll get two of them and set it up for Crossfire. Anyone have this yet?

Can DX10.x cards use DX9? WinXP is the only OS I will use until Microsoft comes out with a better OS.

Maybe I'll just max out the credit card and build my next computer. I wanted to do this at a time when money wasn't a problem but trying to find a board that is near the specs of my current one is hard.

I can't get past the POST screen it just stays there and does nothing plus my keyboard and mouse are dead. My keyboard port died earlier this week so I had been using a USB port for that. If I have dead connections on the motherboard, I'll have to replace that. That would not be good if I have to. I don't know where I'll get a motherboard that supports AGP graphics cards and DDR memory. I can't get a recent motherboard because they have PCI-Express, which would require me to buy a new video card, and plus the newer boards have DDR2/DDR3 memory which would require me to buy new memory. I simply do not have the money for all of that. With the way my work is laying people off, I have to hold on to what money I have.
