Didn't know that band, but I love it! So groovy.

Found it because Metallica covered it at a concert, and always looking for stuff to weird out neighbours with. Metallica covered Lady Pank abroad? Oh, wow. Now I've heard everything. What's next? Non-Canadians enjoying Celine Dion?

Chris Avellone: The Final Frontier
Got any links to that? I'm curious. Unfortunately, it’s kinda tedious to link them all individually. If you scroll back to 2/1/17 in his feed you should be able to find the threads It's still a start. Thanks! EDIT: Okay, I checked all the hotspots outlined by Chris and... I don't see anything scandalous in the contents of the interview? What's so terrible about, say, the fact that Feargus doesn't lose sleep over what could have been (specifically, missing the infamous 85% Metacritic bonus)? Am I missing something? EDIT 2: *doesn't lose sleep. I accidentally swallowed a word.

Dzień dobry, rodaku! I admit, this is quite a surprise, and on so many levels. I mean, I'm familiar with "Mniej niż zero". It's hard not to be, really, as Lady Pank is one of those iconic Polish bands that get plenty of casual airplay over here. Virtually everyone has heard of them to a degree, and I guess this is why learning here and now that they had recorded English versions of some of their hits is such a weird discovery for me. Still, I think it's safe to say that the songs... didn't really translate all that well.

I'm Polish and I had no idea Lady Pank even had a song in English. Jesus Christ this is embarrassing.

My thoughts help pls. (no white jackets)
Isn't that the thing you put on crazy people? As in, a straitjacket? That's my guess, although I have no idea how that possibly relates to anything in this thread.

Are story talents from POE1 in Deadfire?
Skazz replied to Vicar in a tutu's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Some time ago, Josh indicated in a Q&A on his tumblr that a number of these talents may end up being re-earnable (so an imported character wouldn't start with them either way), but I don't think anything concrete has been said on the topic since then. That said, I think it's safe to assume that whatever talents do make it through, they will likely end up providing different or smaller benefits than in PoE 1.

Chris Avellone: The Final Frontier
Different strokes and all that. However, I can definitely agree that there was plenty of weird and downright terrible stuff about Masquerade (lol True Black Hand) that may or may have not aged well - which is part of the reason why I like Bloodlines so much. To me, the developers did a stellar job at filtering most of the questionable verdigris of OWoD as a whole. That said, good luck trying to convince me that Demon: The Descent was any better than Demon: The Fallen.

Skazz replied to sundevil619's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)That's nice and all, but Total War:Warhammer 1 & 2 should ALWAYS be installed on your hd, young man! Hop hop, you have work to do! I'm more concerned about the fact that he doesn't have Civ IV in his library at all. I'm afraid I will have to take away your Civilization fan credentials, sir. Also this. Feels so weird to have VtMB greyed out.

Wait, people outside Poland are willingly and unironically listening to Polish bands? Truly, we are living in the darkest timeline.

Thanks for the thorough explanation. I had no idea the differences were so pronounced.

Chris Avellone: The Final Frontier
I think this whole ordeal has been a case study in the patchwork nature of the human memory. I'll give MCA the benefit of the doubt on that. Still I think he's in too deep, said too much. Quick activate the sleeper agents!

As I'm completely ignorant on the subject, how different is Japanese wrestling compared to something like WWE?

Why do you play the class that you do?
Skazz replied to PneumaticFire's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Huh. I mean, yes, that is exactly what happens, and your post is a great explanation... but when when you put it like that, it made me realize how this sounds almost exactly like the creation of God-Emperor of Mankind from Warhammer 40,000.

Skazz replied to Nemesis7884's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)For progression, I’d love to see their take on prestige classes, but since starting kits serve a very similar purpose, this probably isn’t something that will ever happen.

Leonard Boyarsky was the lead of Bloodlines, right? You have my vote.

What class(s) are you planning making your first character and why?
Skazz replied to Riftis's topic in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I've been toying with tweaking my imported Chanter as Chanter/Nalpazca or Chanter/Wizard, and to be frank, I'm still not sure. Knowing myself, I'll probably end up overwhelmed by all the options and just stick to pure Chanter, if only to see the high-level chants. Was thinking about going Beckoner, but the prevalent undead theme isn't really my cup of tea.
