  1. I know that it doesn't work for Charmed, Confused and Dominated effects. What are the other effects that will NOT be affected by this ability?
  2. Ok I just realised that Zealous Focus gets suppressed by the accuracy buffs casted by my priest. Lolwut
  3. Since 1.05 made quite a few changes to the spells, which are the ones you guys think are the must picks now? For me Death Ring is a no brainer as it's finally Foe only now!
  4. DW Rogues are great. The only problem about DW Rogues, and probably what most people bitch about, is the micromanagement. With its low endurance and sneak attack mechanic, he'll need babysiiting more than the Fighter. Agreed. I tried it once and find that I'm pausing more than I like in big fights. I suggest a bow rogue who switches to dual stilettos to clean up the fight. You can always use Cipher to inflict the flanked status.
  5. Aloth's quest is pretty good too although it was a bit short for me. Pallgenia and Harvias quests are really disappointing.
  6. Pally is really useful when as a "solo" class as they are the epitome of Jack of All Trades but Master of None. They excel in dealing with a singular tough enemy like bosses. Sworn Enemy just adds so much damage.
  7. Let Eder be your tank and slot in GM. 1.05 GM has really high Int so she can be your CC Cipher. You need another ranged DPS since you already have 2 melee.
  8. Hiravias' quest is really disappointing for me. Aloth, Eder and Durance are very well written characters. You won't go wrong with picking them. Just make sure you turn off auto levelling.
  9. Estoc for DPS and Greatsword for off tank as you can get Tidefall early. I too suggest that Fighter be used as your main tank because of the Defender ability. Paladins are best suited to be off tanks. Replace one of your Fighter with a priest and you will be good to go.
  10. Are you using hirelings or story companions? The fight will be almost impossible for a low level story companions party.
  11. They fixed some modal abilities like Pally's Zealous auras and Fighter's Defender ability by turning them off and activating them again whenever you load a game. Wonder why they didn't do it for the other abilities though...
  12. Hi, would like to highlight that 2 abilities that I've tested so far (Vulnerable Attack and Vicious Aim) do not show their graphical effect when loading a game that has them activated.
  13. Have you played Blade of Darkness? You could lop off an Orc 's arm or leg and roast it in the camp fire and eat it.
  14. Figurines and consumables are always OP even since the IE days. Demi Lich? No problem, just cast a scroll of Protection From Magic on it and the Demi Lich will be nothing more than a mere kobold.
  15. You have to get an item from one of the Gods before you speak to their leader.
  16. I like the new journal. It looks much more organised and systematic now.
  17. I just don't feel comfortable playing a low INT character though...I'm currently using my Pally as a scroll caster too. Damn fan of flames are still OP; I killed the bear in the cave easily with it.
  18. I really wish that Obs could have fleshed out the Aura abilities of Paladins. They could have added Paladin specific quests which boosted and modified the auras.
  19. Well at least Godlikes have the most OP racial passives so that kinda make up for it...
  20. I don't think it's possible for now since the game didn't create a end game save when you finish it.
  21. I never used traps for a single time since the IE days...kinda too cheesy for me.
  22. Aren't Fire Godlikes supposed to be beings touched by Magran? Why doesn't Durance have any special dialogues with my PC who is a Fire Godlike?
  23. Didn't 1.05 fix this? You will not likely reach L12 before going to Twin Elms.
