Shades = Ankhegs
Woah why all the bashing? PoE hits all the right notes with nostalgia...although Shades posed a problems for weaker members (I'm looking at you Aloth), at least it was not as bad as the Ankhegs who could one shot your party.

Shades = Ankhegs
For those who played BG1, I personally feel that the shades in PoE reminded me of the Ankhegs from BG1. Both of them appeared rather early in the game and marked a significant spike in game difficulty. I remember that Ankhegs could one shot my weaker party members and practically forced me to radically change my approach to battles. Such nostalgia!

My passive talents just stop working after Noonfrost.
From what I've seen on the forums, several people are affected by this bug. I guess OBS will come out with a hotfix soon.

Too Easy?
Can the mods create a separate forum section for all these "game too easy/difficult" threads...it's getting annoying and cluttering up the forums!

What is this lightning spell and how do I protect myself from it?
Quickly interrupt and finish off the Druids before they can cast lightning storm. You can see who's casting what by the small icon beside their action bar.
- What's up with the Wizard?

So, the plot.
Pardon me for asking...but what are the Pillars in the game's title referring to? Pillars of truth?

Undead Raedric fight seems impossible? (possible spoilers)
Non-Cheese method: You need the Priest's spell Protection Against Treachery. First of all, send in your tank to begin the conversation. Let him take all the first wave of spells. During this period, quickly use your figurines for summons and also cast all the buffing spells. Your tank should still be engaging Raedric and move your summons and remaining party to engage the fampyrs. Remember to give your tank plenty of potions as he will be eating a fireball every now and then.

Charm/Dominate/Confusion/Paralyze
You need a priest. And I think the reason that the developers made it this way is because of the way such spells worked back in the IE games. If you made a saving roll against these spells, the effect will be completely negated, making it a waste of a precious spell slot.

How did you end the 'Blood Legacy' quest?
tough titties I say. at least a few quests NEED to have limited decision trees like this one does. it adds variety and spice, and helps remove the bland flavor too much of this game already has. Agreed. We need more of such quests. I reloaded for countless times to make sure I chose the outcome that I felt most comfortable with.

Wizard Spell Progression / Favourite spells?

Where's the "Dynamism" (aka moving grass, trees, water etc.)?
Oldsong and Golden Grove are the best looking places to me. The falling golden leaves and soft glow of the moonlight is just gorgeous.

[BUG] Party member's inventory gone after switching them
I can confirm this too. Only the items in the quick inventory were lost for me though.

Didn't realize I was paying to join late beta...
I have been playing for more than 20 hours and never experienced a single crash or freeze. Either you have a faulty PC or are extremely unlucky...
