  1. I'm 30, but right now I feel like I'm 12 again. I have not been this excited since back when Baldur's Gate first come out in the 90's.
  2. Just got my hardcover Prima strategy guide that I ordered from Amazon in the mail today. Now I'm really happy I can use it tomorrow when the game releases, but I'm not sure when the digital version unlocks maybe tomorrow.
  3. Snack wise, corn chips or pork rinds. For drinks, ginger ale, sunkist or cherry coke. For lunch, it's some type of chinese food (thinking beef and broccoli) which will end up being my dinner too, what's ever left over.
  4. I do say I love the way BG2 and KOTOR2 did pre-made companions. Going to try the pre-made one's in Pillars of Eternity the first time around and in the end if I do not like them, then and only then will I make a few custom-made companions.
  5. Man I am so super freaking hyped, I'm not sure if I'll be able to sleep tonight. Might just go to bed around 9 am wake up and check to see if the game released, if it did let it download while I go to work, then later in the evening come home eat and then play the game all night long since I have off for both friday and the weekend.
  6. Going to try and max perception/resolve and put what's left into might, dexterity and intellect. Making this a fighter tank build but I'm not using constitution going to leave that at a ten. Boy oh boy this learning curve will drive me nuts at first.
  7. From just a few streams I seen, this game looks pretty badass. Man I'm so freaking super hyped to play this the 26th. I been trying my best to avoid spoiler filled videos so I get to experience the main story first hand for myself.
  8. This is for Maximus a human paladin (Darcozzi Paladini order/Aristocrat) from Old Vailia. This is the person I'm going to use for my second playthrough.
  9. I'll pass on doing my first playthrough on hard mode ironman. Going to play it on normal mode my first time just so I can enjoy the story. Then second playthrough is going to be on hard mode.
  10. Pre-ordered the Hero Edition on GOG so that's one sale from me. Also really want that giant miniature space piglet, going to name him Boo. "Boo must have his exercise, lest he bite us all in hard to reach places."
  11. Going to say again, this is some great work on your part. Yeah I know I already said my two cents, but going to say it again anyway.
  12. I'm hoping for a fast download that does not take too long since I too bought it on GOG and I'm not sure if they have a preload option but I can live if it takes a little longer to download and I get to play the game at the end of the day.
  13. Hi Sensuki what would be a good build stats wise for a human sword and shield fighter that's focused on being able to take hits but also deal them out? Thinking abilities wise Knock Down and then Constant Recovery, since it auto regenerates stamina, but I'm just not sure what Attributes to pick.
  14. I normally stay with two names, The ones I used for Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 I forget. New ones I been using are Grimm and Maximus. Grimm is just a shorten version of Grimmjow aka Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach fan) and Maximus is from Gladiator (Maximus Decimus Meridius my favorite name by far). Been using them for many crpgs and am more then likely going to use them for Pillars of Eternity.
  15. At this moment Pillars of Eternity is at the very top of most popular on GOG and I can see it being at the number four spot or if we're lucky even higher on Steam by tomorrow morning.
  16. From what I seen so far of just short stream playthroughs (since I do not want to spoil anything for myself), this game from my stand point looks pretty polished. Well it's just that little added touch that go's a long way in the end.
  17. ^ I'm going to be using this for my Thyrtan Human, it's pretty cool and totally fits him.
  18. 30 hour run through? Forget that, I plan to take my time and read every conversation and just enjoy the art/backgrounds. Lets not forget the number of times I'll recreate my person till I get a build I like. xD
  19. 3 AM our time my local friend (I'm the one who lives in Reading as well hehe). I have to get up at 5:30 AM. All good. I'm going to wait for Sensuki's YouTube videos. I keep forgetting you live in the same city as me. I'll up before 5 am since I have to shower, take the dog out for her walk and then eat breakfast before I have to be in at work at 6 am.
  20. Really do not want to stay up till 3 or so, since I have to get up for work at 6am.
  21. Pretty beautiful portraits. This makes me want to play a Wild Orlan instead of my Thyrtan Human that I wanted to.
  22. I just ordered both the prima strategy guide and collector's guidebook: volume one (hardcover versions) off of Amazon, should be here in about two days (free two shipping with Amazon Prime). I'm going to say it was a pretty good deal for me, I could really careless about the other goodies that the Royal Edition itself comes with.
  23. ... Huh. There doesn't seem to be a way? It's included in all but the barest Kickstarter tiers, but it doesn't seem to be available as an Add-On. No luck on the Dark Horse website, either. Maybe it'll show up later. The Champion Edition will include the Campaign Almanac, (but not the Collector's Guidebook:Volume One, nor the Strategy Guide) so if you don't care about the Collector's Book, you could skip the Royal edition. (It's included in a bunch of Kickstarter tiers, and available as an Add-On for Backers, but for $15, I think it's a bit much. Call it a Kickstarter Artifact.) The Strategy Guide can be pre-ordered digitally from Prima itself for just short of $10. (Or as an Add-On for backers for $7.) It's also available in print. The Collector's Guidebook: Volume One looks to only be available digitally in the Royal Edition, and most Kickstarter packages. It's available in print, but I can't find a place that'll offer it digitally. Ok thank you so much Ark Evensong. I will check this info out shortly when I get time.
