  1. I normally stay with two names, The ones I used for Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 I forget. New ones I been using are Grimm and Maximus. Grimm is just a shorten version of Grimmjow aka Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez (Bleach fan) and Maximus is from Gladiator (Maximus Decimus Meridius my favorite name by far). Been using them for many crpgs and am more then likely going to use them for Pillars of Eternity.
  2. At this moment Pillars of Eternity is at the very top of most popular on GOG and I can see it being at the number four spot or if we're lucky even higher on Steam by tomorrow morning.
  3. From what I seen so far of just short stream playthroughs (since I do not want to spoil anything for myself), this game from my stand point looks pretty polished. Well it's just that little added touch that go's a long way in the end.
  4. Alright enough stalking the forums, going to head to bed.

  5. ^ I'm going to be using this for my Thyrtan Human, it's pretty cool and totally fits him.
  6. 30 hour run through? Forget that, I plan to take my time and read every conversation and just enjoy the art/backgrounds. Lets not forget the number of times I'll recreate my person till I get a build I like. xD
  7. 3 AM our time my local friend (I'm the one who lives in Reading as well hehe). I have to get up at 5:30 AM. All good. I'm going to wait for Sensuki's YouTube videos. I keep forgetting you live in the same city as me. I'll up before 5 am since I have to shower, take the dog out for her walk and then eat breakfast before I have to be in at work at 6 am.
  8. Pretty beautiful portraits. This makes me want to play a Wild Orlan instead of my Thyrtan Human that I wanted to.
  9. I just ordered both the prima strategy guide and collector's guidebook: volume one (hardcover versions) off of Amazon, should be here in about two days (free two shipping with Amazon Prime). I'm going to say it was a pretty good deal for me, I could really careless about the other goodies that the Royal Edition itself comes with.
  10. ... Huh. There doesn't seem to be a way? It's included in all but the barest Kickstarter tiers, but it doesn't seem to be available as an Add-On. No luck on the Dark Horse website, either. Maybe it'll show up later. The Champion Edition will include the Campaign Almanac, (but not the Collector's Guidebook:Volume One, nor the Strategy Guide) so if you don't care about the Collector's Book, you could skip the Royal edition. (It's included in a bunch of Kickstarter tiers, and available as an Add-On for Backers, but for $15, I think it's a bit much. Call it a Kickstarter Artifact.) The Strategy Guide can be pre-ordered digitally from Prima itself for just short of $10. (Or as an Add-On for backers for $7.) It's also available in print. The Collector's Guidebook: Volume One looks to only be available digitally in the Royal Edition, and most Kickstarter packages. It's available in print, but I can't find a place that'll offer it digitally. Ok thank you so much Ark Evensong. I will check this info out shortly when I get time.
  11. What I really would not give for a upgrade option on GOG, so I could spend a little more and upgrade to the Royal Edition, I'm not really in the mood to spend another $89.99.. on top of the $45, I already spent to pre-order the Hero Edition. Still was worth every penny I spent in the end.
  12. I would love to know this myself. I already bought the Hero Edition on GOG and would love to buy the digital strategy guide and Campaign Almanac to go with the game, short of buying the Royal Edition.
  13. Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive invite our fans and backers to join us for a night of revelry and celebration at the Pillars of Eternity Launch party at the luxurious Sutra Nightclub! After 2.5 years of development Pillars of Eternity will finally go live to the public on March 26th! We would love for you to be there with us as the clock strikes midnight and share in that moment of success. ^ https://www.facebook.com/events/1557953291132697/?ref=98 Got that from Obsidian's FB page, man I wish I could go to that party, but sadly I work the next day so no drinks for me. Going to play Pillars of Eternity when I get home from work when it releases, good thing I have the weekend off to stay up. That inn is something I am looking forward to finding myself.
  14. Nope. As it says up the top this is from Obsidian's facebook page. That page also says a launch event is happening, 7pm Pacific, Wednesday night. Hmm ... Midnight release I hope, keep my fingers crossed.
  15. Oh man The Wailing Banshee Inn looks badass, I can not wait to see it for myself in all it's broken down woe filled glory.
  16. Yeah I'm really looking forward to this day one patch, super hyped. The biggest thing being the fix to the Enchanting UI, since it can get a little confusing at times.
  17. Man pretty cool videos. Few of them I already seen, the one's I did not should hold me over till this game releases the 26th.
  18. I know I'm not really in a big hurry, yeah I still want this game now, but I'm enjoying my playthrough of Assassin's Creed Black Flag till it releases. (Right now I'm really mainly enjoying upgrading the Jackdaw.)
  19. Man this looks so freaking sweet.. too bad I'm not getting the physical standard edition, that game guide and manual both look epic. Well I feel better since I'm going to get a digital copy of the game and Prima game guide. That guide is something I'm enjoying looking forward to reading through.
  20. I have to agree with the Fog of War point. I'm not going to leave the area till the whole map is clear. Also may recreate my person over a dozen times, cause I would be unhappy till I find a build that I like. " 5) When PoE 2 rolls around, I will only play characters that have been imported from the original game." ^ I will be so doing that too, heck I most do this.. if I don't it will not feel right to me. Going to spend hours playing dress up with my companions, so I can check out the armor and weapons sets.
  21. I'm also getting the digital version, but I'm doing this more cause I have a habit of losing things. I already have the hero edition but I'm going to cough up more money for the royal edition on GOG which comes with this guide.
  22. Man 5 more days till Pillars of Eternity is released. The hype is strong with this one, I know I can not wait for this game.
  23. I hope it's more like Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn's exploration was, where regions open up as you get quests and progress through the story. I would be somewhat disappointed if it's not like that.
