I for one really love this 2D/3D art style, it reminds me of the older IE games. This art style is breathtaking and does not feel outdated, if you ask me it works perfectly with Pillars of Eternity.

I had a hard time choosing but decided on a fighter tank build (dual wielder). I really want to try out a paladin tank build, have one created but saving him for my second playthrough. So far I'm just having a blast playing this game with my fighter.

It's running flawlessly, smooth as butter. 1 year old Alienware x51 r2. - Haswell Intel Core i7 4770. - 8 GB RAM, upgraded to 16. - GTX Geforce 760 Ti OEM. < rebranded 670. (But I'm upgrading to a 970 GTX pretty soon.) - It's installed on a 2 TB Hard Drive. - Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. - No cd drive, more run for air flow.

Finding a good fit is hard. I believe I have Chanter stats down pat, but I have come to the conclusion that I will be playing a Fighter PC. That's my trouble at the moment, I'm just trying to find a better build for my fighter.

So far I'm happy with Grimm. Took me six different times to recreate him before I got the right combo.

How do you not name him "Cumberbatch" or "Cumbie"? Well the thought never crossed my mind, but now that you said that, I'm going to start calling him Cumbie.

Playing on normal mode, may bump it up to hard mode if I'm in the mood.

Well my first build really did not work well, so I tweaked it a little and this is what I will be using for repeat playthroughs.

I only gotten 3 to 4 hours in and I'm so in love with this amazing game. From a score of 0 out of 10 I give it a 13. Wish I would of backed this from the start but I was late to the party, but still the wait was worth it if you ask me.

Meadow Folk / Male / Fighter / Aedyr (Res +1) / Laborer - Might 13 - Constitution 10 - Dexterity 11 - Perception 16 - Intellect 13 - Resolve 15

Took me about 20 mins to download it but installing it as I type, may take a hour oh joy.

Game's now downloading from GOG. Here's looking at another hour before I can play, but it's worth the wait.

Not sure I can survive all this hype, but I think I can handle one more hour.

I was so excited for this game that I could not sleep, kept my girlfriend up. Got to bed a little after 3 am (And that's with two sleeping pills), I then got up around 9 am. I'm so thankful that I do not work till Monday, it just gives me more time to play this game.

No your not alone in the slow boat, since it's taking forever for the forum to load at least for me it is.

Thank you so much obsidian. Hoping this game is as good as Baldur's Gate II if not even better. Pillars of Eternity it should be the new golden standard in how RPGS are made now a days.

Yes we so need to do this. That way we can all count it down together.
