Darker nights

Baldur' s Gate cycle was visually beautiful and PoE is good too, even if some places are too bright at night (the rainy map with lions, for example) I would like to see darker nights -
The "old" goes to the style. Basically not old but old-school. Other than that, of course it is modern; it runs in high resolutions and uses a new 3d graphics engine. But the style of graphics is done the old way. The IE way. I meant something different. I heard someone saying "omg same graphic of Baldur's gate what a shame, i expected some improvements, wtf" and i was complaing that thoose people can't see the huge difference between the 2 products in terms of graphics. Actually PoE is probably the best looking 2d isometric game avaiable

I'm playing Baldur's Gate like i did 15 years ago but i have serious problems passing through the outdated graphic and bitmaps. I don't really know how people complain POE to have an "old" graphic when it's clear that it looks a lot modern and better, backgrounds are more clean, have more details and higher resolution, models are 3d and smooth

Since the last beta update, Dyford village looks really darker at night (before it was a lot brighter) and it is magical and AWESOME. I really hope that every area will have the same treatment !!!

Did they change colour saturation at night? Cause in the last videos on youtube (435 build) night seems darker than before in the village.

Damn guys, a gothic castle with his own dungeon is one of the best location you can see in a fantasy Rpg. I hope we can encounter some evil ghosts in the basement Good job PS: i suggest to put a couple of big dark carpets (or tables, candles or whatever) on the sides of the throne room, to let feel that large spaces less empty

I red on a preview that death doesn't exist and heavy injured companions just go disabled till fight ends. In an old stram i heard devs saying that a companion needs to be shutdown at first place and only after he can be killed. Someone is speaking about resurrection and others about the fact healing while in combat doesn't exist at all in this game... Can someone clarify theese aspects? Thank you

Cipher, not Chiper. According to wiki, the equivalent italian term is Cifrario or cifra. Dictionary.com gives its etymology as: Problems is that such term does not have any sense considering it as a class name, i'm wondering how it will be translated , that word is like "coded string" It will be like "nice, let me build party: mmmmh, a warrior, ok, a paldin, nice. Let's create backline now, mmmh, wizard of course and..and...a coded string. WTF IS THIS GUY?? Is that a bug?" :-D

Expansions who continues the storyline with post events, rather than enanching the main one are completely nonsense to me; they feel like a short, lonely product. If i wanna the main storyline to be continued, i just prefere a full-game sequel. -

I found this preview, i don't understand the language (it seems German to my ears) but it's pretty interesting cause it shows some areas i never seen in any other video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOdf051shsM However, probably nobody cares, but i usually pay attention to little details that most people just ignore, cause i love them (same reason behind the fact i opened the "missing skeleton unsummon animation" thread). While seeing this preview (around minute 3:00) i instantly noticed that the Inn showed (Gilded Vale) had something different regarding how it looked on the last Josh stream: Then i realized the light coming from the big decorated window was actually reflecting the nightime from outside, while in Josh stream it was daytime and it looked different because of that. I know, it is only a little thing but i wanna emphasize that cause i love this kind of stuff Gj to the artistic\graphic team EDIT: i just noticed even tables look different from Josh stream, why?

Rest-Spamming: Good or No?

Excuse me but...are there actually ways to rest beasides the inns or the stronghold manor?? Is there a "rest button" like in bg? If yes, why should one rest in taverns? I didn't pay attention to this aspect TY -

Seeing the last stream, the stronghold environment (main keep, manor, outside houses, etc) looks awesome and i really, really love it. I'm just worried about a thing: Will the scenario get populated a bit with game progression? 'Cause all that big space and stuff feel empty. Would be nice to see people patrolling and populating the environment as the game goes on- 455 replies

I found this, Josh said: " It's something connected to the main game but its own separate storyline, and you take your normal characters into it. We're in the very early stages of planning it. We have to see exactly how it integrates in terms of location and how it shows up on the map, or whether it's its own separate world map" This means it could be either Tosc style or not, it's not decided yet. -
Is there a link for gallery that would allow to see all inn screenshots? Nope. The only screenshot avaiable is about the Twin elms Inn. U can find other inns on videos, Dryford village is noticeable in almost every beta gameplay, while u can see the other two (Gilded Vale and Defiance Bay) on the 1 hour Josh gameplay vid. I guess that the stronghold will provide an inn too.
