WILL THE ALMIGHTY

I just finished Ace combat 6 for the 5th time, on the "Ace" level. Normally I'd be crying and weeping on the floor but since you get the uber-rigged CFA-44 Nosferatu (just a hint, it fires 12 missiles at time, and has an instant kill railgun, not to mention it handles amazingly well) it is EXTREMELY easy. Seriously, I passed the first 6-7 missions alone in barely two hours with the Nosferatu. The graphics are awesome, the destruction of a fighter by machine gun fire is satisfying and the story isn't just about killing everything. EDIT: Oh, and the sci-fi superweapons are epic. EDIT2: Also, once you get the hang of machine gun firing it becomes a lot easier, and a lot more awesome. Just align your sight so the machine gun crosshair (little circle thingy) is right on the enemy airplane and start firing away. Crimskon Skies is still the best aerial fighting game ever though.

Next: BAD movie with a few shiny moments. Overall crap. I, Robot: Awesome action, generally good. Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2: Great movies. I just don't like how the big battle with Bill ends in seconds.

I doubt it's that far removed from the rest of the world to not get Mass Effect or Cod4...

I like consoles, since getting a good gaming computer is a pain for me, and I don't feel like throwing out 800$. But PCs have way too many OTHER uses to be compared to consoles. PCs win by default anyway.

I wish Microsoft weren't money-hungry dirtbags so I could play Xbox Live for free. Then again, same goes for Blizzard and their 20$ per month rip-off...

I'm guessing his next review will be CoD 4... at least he won't be able to complain about patriotism in that one (US Soldder dies first, HA!) What do you think?

Just passed Halo 3 on Legendary. I have to say, I used to be a Easy/Normal player, but when I tried Heroic I got an actual challenge... but then Legendary didn't seem that hard.

Probably because it was a small team (not Bungie itself), and the project wasn't started immediatly. I wouldn't be surprised if the "Halo" engine (it's custom, modified for the second and third games as well) didn't go too well on a computer... But three years is the time it took to make the game... so a three year port is still weird.

Am I the only one who's going to mention Martin O'donnell and the Halo (2 and 3, mostly) soundtrack? Seriously, that is one of best music in a videogame EVER. Also: Jamie Christopherson - Lost Planet: It has some really awesome battle music. Jesse Harlin - Republic Commando: It's nice and vaires from the usual Star Wars soundtrack, and feels pretty epic. Koh Otani - Shadow of the Colossus: Amazing soundtrack. Nothing else to say. Tom Salta - GRAW: He made some very nice music for GRAW. Stan Lepard - Crimson Skies: The soundtrack was nice, but not all that amazing.

By developping non-profitable games?

Hmmm... a 360 to PC port that doesn't have lag issues. That's new.

Kotor 2 had a different view on the "Force" than other star wars games or movies. What I like is they got a new theme with the force, other than the general "It's what sustains life, there's good and evil plus it gives you powers". You have to admit the "Death of the force" and "Living without the Force" was a good idea.

I don't think he'd bash that one, seeing as it's the big zelda game and the scenario repetitiveness wasn't really present at the time it was made. You can't blame the original game for having it's story copy and pasted into the sequels.

/Agree Bad camera angles too. Not necessarily showing more boobs, just giving a clearer view on HOW they're having sex... now they just look like they're doing "something" and then the alien chick's arm falls off... or hits the wall, for some reason or another. Seriously.
