Speaking of customisation, can we add a chainsaw to our machine gun? Or maybe to both dual-wielded SMGs? As for slow-mo, I meant full-on everythinig-slows-down slow-mo. Not the pause-aim-at-multiple-enemies-and-unpause skill.

So many akward decisions (ammo, forced dual-wielding, stance system, whatever)... I think I'll just lower my expectations to the point of anything that isn't a steaming pile of filth will work. Hip-hip-hurray for cynisism.

Been playing through Lost Planet. I love these monster designs. The game needs more features, the story and dialogue suck, but the graphics are amazing and the combat really fun. I should really get my hands on PoP though.

Yes. I demand fembots! On a serious note, font looks weird, button display looks weird, forced dual wield is weird and weapon display is going to be weird. Can you customise your gun? Add silencers, scopes, laser sights, flashlights, underhand grenade launchers? Are there even grenades? Smoke, flash or just frag grenades? Is there generic loot (Striker VII or Lancer III is really boring loot)? Is there a slow-mo ability (that is awesome and you know it)?

What about heavy machine guns? Or heavy weapons for that matter? Wouldn't heavy machine guns also play the role of spraying bullets?

Killzone 2 looks amazing. Seriously, console graphics aren't supposed to look this good. So many small details, so much polish... the PS3 is really shaping up.

Eww, HL2's characters were terrible. So joyful and happy, nothing interesting to say. Except for Dog and the Gman, which I'll admit were awesome. Whatever HL2's strong points were, they weren't the story or characters. Story was basically ''aliens invade, Earth is enslaved, save humanity''. Call me bitter, but I did not enjoy HL2 at all. Every other Valve game has been amazing in a lot of ways (Portal is brilliant, Left 4 Dead is fun, etc.), but not HL2.

Calm situations look better when the character is sort of jogging instead of running.

Woah, I didn't say it was better than NOLF, I haven't played NOLF. And its the only game that actually scared me, but to get the best of the experience you need to play in the dark, alone when everyone else is sleeping. Not BOO scary, but outright freaky moments.

I disagree. FEAR was awesome. Speaking of which, I've been playing through recently. I can only pass the game on Low, surprisingly, and this is from someone who passed Halo 3 on Legendary without a sweat. I just hate oldschool medkit gameplay, so annoying.

Graphics were never a strong point for GTA games anyway. Its all about the sex, blood and violence.

The only part that isn't democratic about this crisis is the fact the General Governor has any sort of power. Other than that, the Coalition would be much more democratic than the Conservatives, if only because the combined parties have way more votes than the Conservative Parties alone. Dion would make a terrible leader, but he'll resign in May so its only temporary, and Harper is already spreading propaganda.

How's the combat? From trailers and how they explained it, it looked absolutly amazing. Smooth and easy to string together.

I actually don't mind the coalition, since it makes more sense than Harper staying in control. What I do mind however, is Dion. Dion as a Prime Minister would be not only embarassing but disastrous for Canada. For those who don't know, just look at any video of his speeches.
