Is Metal Gear Solid 4 any good?
MGS4 made me feel nostalgia near the end without ever playing any game in the series, and a bit sad too, even if I didn't understand anything. That takes some serious cinematic skill.

What are you playing now?
Because I don't have a next-gen console. I played PoP: The Sands of Time and The Two Thrones on PC and didn't have any difficulty. Don't get me wrong, I like controllers, and I think it would be *better* with a controller, but it's still good on PC. I still wonder how someone can cope with 8 directions for movement only. A controller might not make a huge difference in the sense of how many directions, but at least its a lot smoother. And I'm pretty sure some PC games work with 360 controllers, not to mention actual controlers made for the PC.

What are you playing now?
Tell me how it is!! Wait, it come out on PC soon enough. I can wait. I CAN WAIT. Just give me a hint.. Why do people even play platforming games on the PC? You'd have to buy a joystick to be able to do any sort of decent platforming in it.

Ok, right. Why can't you run it? Hardware? I have more ram in my microwave than in this tin can, my graphics card (read: integrated ****) is less powerful than a PSP's and dust has now merged with the motherboard from 4 years of terribly damaging environments. I cannot wait until it dies. Then I will burn it.

Yahtzee: "Mirror's Edge is an 8hour fecal waterslide"
Did he actually say why the game was so ****ty? I mean, he mentioned bloom, but not everyone hates that. He mentioned the controls (jumping works once every two tries, so he says), but I didn't notice anything like that in the game.

What kind of future settings is Obsidian planning?
How about the 1700-1800's? Apparently Assassin's Creed takes place in that timezone. And pirates are pretty awesome.

Yahtzee: "Mirror's Edge is an 8hour fecal waterslide"
That sounds better. I guess it was only online for the demo. I'm definitly buying it though. I love DICE, and was probably one of the only ones to really like Bad Company. To be honest I never got lost or got annoyed by the bloom, and definitly didn't see the problems Yahtzee mentioned.

Meh, Crysis looked better. On a serious note, I can't even run that game, but I should really try it some time.

Yahtzee: "Mirror's Edge is an 8hour fecal waterslide"
I tried the demo and had a blast, ignoring the ****ty cutscenes. Definitly a game I'd buy, but not for 60$. But then I saw the time trial feature was XboX Live only. What. The. ****. Dice.

My Bioshock copy used to temporarily freeze every few seconds and had awful texture popping. Thank you so much, NXE, for the save to harddrive feature! Now the Unreal Engine has literally no popping textures and the game works like it was new.

I would not mind a WW2 RPG, strangely. That would be almost as new as a proper Steampunk RPG.

Why do I suddenly not like Bioware anymore?- The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf (360/PS3)
*moderatly intrigued* I wouldn't mind another RPG to add to my list. I need to play something else than shooters.- New Dragon Age Walkthrough videos
Of course, but he's terrible at saying it. Its like everything is some new feature.- What are you playing now?
The monsters actually get scary around the 3/4 mark. You'll be seeing a lot less of the regular zombie.- Composer?
I think CoD4 was mostly Stephen Barton.- SoZ spoilers
He dies at the end.- What kind of future settings is Obsidian planning?
*gets on his knees and begs* Steampunk RPG Steampunk RPG Steampunk RPG Steampunk RPG - Come on guys, steampunk is so underused! ... on second thought, cyberpunk would work too. Steampunk is better, though.- CANADA MAY NO LONGER BE A DEMOCRACY!
Even if they should suck it up, Harper's knocking off government handouts, and that's just... wrong. Something is wrong, yes, but starting another election won't solve it.- CANADA MAY NO LONGER BE A DEMOCRACY!
Well, he started the ****storm. But seriously, the federal elections are over since a month or so, the american election since another month, and Quebec is in provincial elections right now. I don't think I could take much more. Bah, they're all doing something wrong. They all sound like they're screwing up in some terrible way. Harper does the job alright, except on the side of environment, but hey, Dion didn't have a better plan.- CANADA MAY NO LONGER BE A DEMOCRACY!
*sigh* ... Harper, you moron. Now we get another useless 300 million dollar federal election.- Composer?
Here I am hoping for a soundtrack similar to what CoD4 had in mind. - New Dragon Age Walkthrough videos
