  1. I like the idea of a western-setting. Now combine it with steampunk and I'll actually play it.
  2. I don't know what compelled me to play through Mass Effect again. This game is too easy. I can take on anything without ever using cover. Seriously, Tali has 800 shield. 800! Nothing EVER takes that down. At least the game picked up right at Noveria, right before going to Ilos. Oddly enough, it was one of the more well done planets for me. I liked the Citadel the second time around too. As for the uncharted worlds, they are truly, truly awful. It wouldn't have been hard to make a more complex science base or something else with all the placeables, and it also wouldn't have taken all that much effort to make them simply better. Barely any voice acting in those missions = so much more boring.
  3. Wait, what? How does one manage to have so much interest in Mass Effect?!
  4. I wouldn't mind Jack Black as the main character.
  5. I doubt he did. He seems to have checked his specs correctly, 192 GB of diskspace is enough for anything, and it can't possibly 192 MBs of diskpace.
  6. Oh, that. I thought you meant the Obsidian homepage.
  7. LA Detective setting. LA cop setting? ... Die Hard setting? Oh Jesus just go to the homepage and look for yourself. I see nothing.
  8. Back to topic then. Will we be able to attach uzis to our feet and quadruple-wield submachine guns?
  9. LA Detective setting. LA cop setting? ... Die Hard setting?
  10. I play on a 26 inch TV incapable of HD. That doesn't bother me. :D
  11. Chicago mafia setting?
  12. 192 MB Ram? You can actually run games with that?
  13. Halo 3 is a load of fun in co-op, but if you play the game on Heroic and/or then Legendary, the game becomes very strategic, surprisingly. Very very fun shooter, that doesn't bring anything new to the table but is pretty much perfected and polished to an insane level. The game is literally without bugs or glitches. And hey, 20 euros isn't that much. EDIT: But, uh... maybe I'm one of the rare people who think that.
  14. That would be awesome and you know it.
  15. Its an Obsidian game. That speaks for itself.
  16. K3. MAYBE. JUST MAYBE. But I would very much like something steampunk.
  17. WTC7 was that building that collapsed for seemingly no reason, right? I'm not siding with anything else, but that was pretty freaking creepy.
  18. I like the idea of simplifying graphics card, since that allows game devs to familiarise themselves with the hardware a lot more and use it better (this is the what happens with consoles, for example), but if you think Intel can do that, there is a serious problem.
  19. I say remove one of MT's arms, one leg and an eye. Then he can be a pirate.
  20. I've been reading the Twilight series. It's not crap, simply because of how its told in a non-cheesy way, but still pretty bad.
  21. Better in every way. More color, better looking, more varied single-player which was also generally better, more multiplayer modes, co-op Horde mode, etc.
  22. So what actually held your interest in 2008? Was this year as good as 2007? What are you looking forward o in 2009? Personally, I only had vague interest in Bad Company and Prince of Persia. This being a year filled with sequels to games I never played (Resistance, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, etc...), I didn't really get that many games. For some reason, I just caught up with all the stuff I missed in 2007 or 2006 like Bioshock and FEAR. I wouldn't say 2008 was as good as 2007. But October and November were simply ridiculous in terms of how many games were released at the same time. And I'm pretty much only looking forward to Project Origin and Halo 3: ODST for 2009, sadly.
  23. Have I mentioned how Steampunk is severely underused and unexplored?
