What are you playing now?
Really, Resistance 2 looks like a run-of-the-mill FPS with excessively powerful multiplayer options. Also, the particle effects range from pathetic to PS2 quality. Nobody cares about that but me though.

Enemies don't leak 10 tons of blood everytime you chop their limbs off. That's pretty much what I meant. The point is I haven't found the gore to be in bad taste yet, which is weird.

He also dies at the end.

Will the economic crisis affect the video game industry?
EA just sacked 600 people. Of course it's going to affect the industry.

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING.
Manage to host it on XboX Live as a downloadable patch and I will worship you forever. Excessive wishful thinking, I know, but let me dream.

Did you like the ending?

What are you playing now?
No, there's a boss fight while riding a reaper afterwards. And his repaer is considerably bigger and better armed.

Game Design Stuff You Hate
Devs who put the auto-save point before ANY cutscene. Auto-save points go AFTER THE CUTSCENE. I don't want to hear the same damn dialogue twenty times, no matter how good it is.

Has anyone ever seen a UFO?
They're coming on October 14th! The federation of Light!"

What's your opinion on Alpha Protocol?
Well it sure as hell doesn't look realistic. A trailer would help explain what the game actually works like... *COUGH*

Game Design Stuff You Hate
DLC. I despise the concept for anything other than an MMO.

What's your opinion on Alpha Protocol?
But wait, how would Mass Effect with spies not be fun? Bioware>Obsidian!!!!!

Movies you have seen recently
That was a disturbingly great movie, actually. That and the "The Illusionist" are on my top 10 list for best plot twists.

New RPGVault Interview
If you feed the puppies early on in the game, they become your faithful, full-grown rottweilers during a later sequence. That would be so ****ing awesome. Obsidian, this is gold you've got here.

What you did today

You could play in first or third person. generally when you whipped out your saber it would jump to a third person camera. I remember guns being pretty worthless in that game.- What are you playing now?
Dead Space is the perfect game for me. Atmospheric, gorgeous graphics, not too much gore, seamless animation, immersive, the ship just feels like an actual ship and repairing it is a nice concept. Voice acting and dialogue is solid enough to not be a problem. I haven't watched Aliens or anywhere near enough sci-fi to feel this is a rip-off, the voice acting is solid and something about the animation/interface and third person camera gives it a sort of realistic feeling, like an actual sci-fi movie. The monsters are creative and the zero-g sections are lots of fun. Definitly a better buy than the Orange Box.- New RPGVault Interview
I think its safe to assume that its as much customisable as what GTA: San Andreas allows to customise the character. Like hair cuts, sporting a beard, wearing the different clothes and accessories like glasses ect. Minus the body building stuff though. I wouldn't mind a fat Michael.- New RPGVault Interview
I want a Karl Marx beard.- What are you playing now?
Chapter 7 on Dead Space. Too bad my pusle rifle is upgraded insanely high and I'm basically full of ammo.- Left 4 Dead
Half-life 2 was booooring. Portal wasn't really a shooter though it was amazing. Left 4 Dead looks really fun but the Source engine is aging.- Long rant on RPGs and comments on Obsidian
Ugh, that sounds pretty terrible! I dunno, it wasn't that bad, although I found myself humming the theme from "Moon Patrol" while playing... While most of the planets are similar, they're relatively easy to break up between the main quests without finding them monotonous. The vehicle did control like ass though. I guess I am somewhat startled. BioWare usually tends to emphasize the story and does not believe in extraneous content. In any case the endgame is amazing stuff, especially . The game has some great moments, and the sidequests don't ruin it (what with being optional). I might complain a lot about Bioware, but they make damn good games.- New RPGVault Interview
Will there be puppies in the game?- Left 4 Dead
Looks alright (co-op is always fun). I wouldn't touch anything from Valve other than Portal with a ten-foot pole, though. - The FPS Thread
