  1. For crying out loud, Kreia dies in the end! If that were so, don't you think we would have at least know whether or not Kreia was Kae or not?!!! If they had ever intended to make Kreia Handmaiden's mom, they obviously ditched it in the early stages of development. If that's the case, than Kreia still isn't Handmaiden's mom, since the idea was abandoned. Also, see my other post on this thread.
  2. hello! :D I've seen longer posts, believe me. I'm saying that if you already give the player exp. and LS/DS points in the beginning, you give the player less of a chance to go and earn the points themselves and adjust the character's alignment. It sort of takes away from the ability to customize your character entirely on your own. And if you give them fewer opportunities to earn LS/DS points, than it's be harder to adjust alignment and earn a mastery in either alignment. And if you happen to have to earn points opposite your alignment in the game (say, to complete a mission, which happened to me a couple times in both games), it'd be harder to make up those points since you don't have as many chances to earn those points back. Get any of that? I hope that's not confusing. By the way, for those of you who are talking about losing limbs, I think we can all forget about that ever happening. Keep dreaming.
  3. Planet of the Bastilas <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I bet you would love that place if they didn't look like monkeys and just stayed like Bastilla <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who wouldn't? What if you threw in a bunch of Miras, Visas's, Yuthura Bans, Missions (older) and others into the mix? I still say she looks more like a kinrath pup. Is this off topic? Cause I noticed we've been talking about her face for a while.
  4. I think you forgot a satisfying romance. :D Although I disagree with there being fewer LS/DS point opportunities, I think that would give you less chances to customize your character.
  5. For me, the best thing would be to be lightside, yet be able to use LS and DS force powers! :D @Jediphile: I always thought the term 'gray' was a description of your character, not which order you're a part of. That's why I say Jolee wasn't a 'gray' Jedi. I think he was very LS despite what his alignment showed, but he also wasn't really a Jedi, either.
  6. I don't feel like repeating myself, so I'll just use my old quote. EDIT: Besides, if you're a female and don't get handmaiden, then you basically hear almost nothing about Kreia and the issue of whether she was Hanmaiden's mother or not would not be important. Besides, I doubt any man would be desperate enough to produce offspring with her.
  7. Oh, I see. You know how the Sith prestige classes are marauder, assassin, and lord? The generic Sith Lords you fight are just those prestige classes. They just are talking about the class of sith you fight, just like you fight both marauders and assassins as well.
  8. 1. Don't know for sure, but I'd check your manual, strategy guide, or look somewhere on the internet to determine that. Maybe someone else can answer that question. Might just be a game inconsistancy. 2. What other Sith Lords are you referring to? Are you referring to your PC and your party members? If so, then the title does not refer to them. It only refers to the 3 Sith Lords that you are currently facing in the game - Sion, Nihilus, and Kreia. 3. She is referring to the movies where the Republic falls and is replaced by the Galactic Empire (end of Episode III). I don't know why the devs put that in there, but that's what she's referring to. <_< She said it would be a fall that would take many millenia, and that's kind of what happened. 4. Yup. That appears to be another one of the game's inconsistancies. Not to mention that Atris herself is a Jedi, also, and she was on Telos. The only explanation I can think of is that the exile didn't know Bastila was there, either, and Bastila had been 'hiding' from Nihilus like the Jedi masters. And yes, she was with Carth, she wasn't on Telos. 5. Revan is out there facing the "True Sith". They might be the remnants of the ancient Sith Empire/species that was thought to have died out. That's what Revan is fighting, and that's supposedly the next big foe we'll be facing in KOTOR 3. Anyway, hope that answers some of your questions. That's not official though, so I can be wrong. Hopefully, others will answer this, too.
  9. It would also be nice if we could have our own swoop bike like in K1, and be able to modify/upgrade it like we heard about in K1, but couldn't do. Also, it would be sweet to be able to hijack or pilot vehicles and ships, like GTA or Halo.
  10. The poor gray fools. Neutral Jedi are just as foolish for they do not know where their hearts lie and have no concept of good or evil or right and wrong, just like Kreia. They choose to live in their own fantasy world. Besides, just because you aren't a Jedi or Sith doesn't mean you are "gray". You can not be a Jedi and still be LS; same goes for DS people. Gray people are simply those who do not see things in light/dark and try wallow in the middle. By the way, I choose Jedi except for some parts of their code. :D I'd be a LS force user, but maybe not a Jedi.
  11. Nah. I think her face more resembles a kinrath pup. ^_^ (Anyone who flirts with Bastila in the game will get that joke)
  12. Nope. I'm a guy, and the tail is a big turn-off for me. Now, if she didn't have the tail, that might be a different story. Or I guess I'd always have to look at her from the front.
  13. How about now? :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... "
  14. @Draken Fett: Farewell! With you gone, I'll be chief Bastila fanboy now. (bwahahahaha) @Harry Sorne: Nice Carth pic! If I were a fangirl, I might squeal. :D It seems you're planning on drawing some K2 characters. Can't wait to see em! :D
  15. I don't agree she looks like a monkey.. but she DOES look male. I think she resembles Paul McCrane (of ER and Robocop fame). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bah. I don't see any resemblence. You just need glasses, is all. My inner fanboy will not allow me to insult the mighty Bastila, whom I have given my allegiance.
  16. How do you regard yourself as a geek, then? What geekiness do you possess? (Do you bite the heads of small animals in a circus?) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, no. *shudders* I love stuff like Star Wars, LOTR, and a whole bunch of sci-fi/fantasy/horror stuff. I just haven't gotten into many shows on the Sci-Fi channel recently. Or would that make me more of a nerd?
  17. Silly fangirls. <_< Carth will never replace her.
  18. The whole concept of Revan falling to the DS because he had to was BS, IMO. The only reason Obsidian did that was to make him seem like a hero no matter what he did. Revan, I think, felt he needed to use the DS to accomplish his goal, but then became corrupted by it and his lust for power and eventually forgot about saving the Republic. If he wanted to save the Republic, he wouldn't have waged war against it. Civil war always weakens a nation. And Revan definitely did try to destroy the Jedi. The Jedi is a belief, too, and if you convert all Jedi into Sith than you might as well be killing them off. Revan knew that the best way to defeat an enemy is to convert them, and that is what he did. But to say he had purely noble intentions at the time of his betrayal is absurd. And don't forget, replacing the Republic with his own empire is destroying it. Sidious did the same thing in the movies.
  19. I guess I must be one of the few geeks to not get into Star Trek or Farscape or Firefly or Stargate SG-1 or pretty much any show on the Sci-Fi channel. Although I loved to watch "Sightings" when it was on, and I also used to watch the "Friday the 13th" series. (both old Sci-Fi channel shows) What was Firefly all about, anyway? Cause I might take a look at it considering all the compliments its recieved on this thread.
  20. I was sure to use Force immunity, since she loves to use force powers. With force immunity, her powers lost most of their effect. I also used master energy resistance and energy shields to protect me from her floating lightsabers. Using force enlightenment also helped, since that strenghtens all your LS force powers. Also, using any armor or items that defend against force powers or force users will help.
  21. Dang...I forgot all about that game. I was going to pick it up when it was relesed but got distracted by other games. I still like Diablo II, though. Not to mention that it has a ridiculously huge amount of replay value, especially considering all the possible combinations of character skills, weapons, armor, and items you can use. And of course, the maps and items are randomly generated, so you won't go through the same evironment twice.
  22. Aaah! My ears! Poor DL. Sweet Revan pic, Darth Riggers. She could be my dark Lord any day. :D
  23. Bastila Skywalker posted it. How valid can anything she posts be? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aww, poor Bastila. And another thing, didn't Bioware say they wouldn't be doing K3, anyway? So I guess that shoots that little rumor down. Sorry, Bastila Skywalker.
  24. Awesome, indeed. I was away for a bit, I was kind of late in seeing it. The dark creatures of the forests would like to offer our tribute to the mighty Lord of the Spam, but it seems you have enough already. (looks at above posts)
