I like Rob's stuff better than say.... Quietly. Personally I've a penchant for the innocence that Turner gives his characters... and the bad ass ladies he puts out. Also you can never go wrong with Perez.

I just don't like his faces really... plus the fact everyone looks like they are wearing a musclesuit with 500 lbs worth of muscles. I've noticed that some people are really good at covers and others are good on the inside. Joe Q is, in my opinion, a horrible cover artist. Trades generally cover about six issues each... Harcovers cover an entire "run" on a comic. (giant story arcs that are only used by one writer at a time... Like the New Xmen Omnibus containes all the issues written on New Xmen by Morrison.) On a side note I can't STAND Quietlies art.

Was the game any good, Calax? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I played the current gen version... it needs more polish as it was EXTREMLY easy to tell that it wasn't designed to operate on current gen, except as a consession for sales. Do they ever do anything remotely interesting with the characters and their mythologies or is it just like a glorified Freedom Force mod? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They do, the primary plot revolves around Doom, Odin, Loki, and a few others. During the game there are several secondary objectives that you can perform. I failed two and managed to condemn the western coast of the united states to a meteor strike because the Shi'Ar wouldn't respond, and kill a couple of stars because Dark Pheonix reappeared due to my actions. Seeing a defeated colossus missing a hand and a leg because of Dr. Doom was interesting, but overall the voices for the game were horrible. However there were at least two positions in voice talent that were just contestants without any acting experiance so that might explain some of the actors. They didnt' have Patrick Stewart as Xavier :'(

Just going to point out that if the pope called for a crusade the average IQ for the world would jump after the crusade got demolished. I sincerly doubt that any highly intelligent person who referred to themselves as deeply religious would decide that, because an old [loner] who had a funny hat in rome said to kill stuff in the holy land, they would join a crusade. I think Pedophile and Gay Male are somewhat linked as Rape is with Male... ie: It is, to the wider media/populance at large, UNTHINKABLE that any person of of the male gender could commit rape. Or at least it's increably hard to get any sort of rape charge against a female pushed through to conviction. the populance is similar in the Pedophile (hell 90% of sex crimes that we know of in general are, to the current mindset, only capable of being done by men/males) except that it'd be much easier for a grown gay male to gain access to a younger male AND be in a position to have sex with him, by virtue of single sex programs for the most part. I don't ascribe to this personally...

I would probably be diagnosed with this if it ever came up with my shrink... but then I've probably got a laundry list of disorders and Complex's stuck in my head that makes the rolls of the dead from both world wars and the Korean dust up look like light reading.
