  1. Dead Kennedys Holiday in Cambodia
  2. I read all those before. What PRECISELY is the problem?
  3. Ditto that. I'm afraid I find that cartoon bloody offensive. The man was tortured so badly he's permanently lost movement in his arms. Show a bit of common decency. Phah, every newspaper (atleast where i live) have similar cartoons on respective candidates, local and for presidential elections. And since when has decency been a paragorn in politics of this level. I hope that i didn't distract you from reading it, the guy follows the election candidates from a grassroot level, checking them out at almost every public meeting. Do you find this one offensive as well? Not really. Maybe I'm missing something. Surely there are limits, tho. I mean, what if a candidate had had a kid die of cancer or something? Would it be cool to mock that?
  4. I am alughing so much right now. I was just contemplating cooking up a pack of bacon.
  5. You can't seriously expect many of us to engage in this topic when you steadfastly ignore every single question we ask. That's not a debate, nor does it debunk anything.
  6. Can someone highlight for me the juicy bits? All I see is some perfectly standard (and boring) stuff about conducting operations, and some rather dubious allegations by journalists about the intent being to replicate El Salvador. The most juicy thing I can see is about conducting hasty interrogations, but even then this simply consists of the kind of stuff openly discussed in The Interrogator's War By Sgt. Chris Mackey. Which is about as civilised as can be expected.
  7. Yup. We've ALL said that. Guess how often you're wrong?
  8. I blame the delicious cooking. I got a lot fatter after I learned how to cook properly.
  9. I've never considered Echelon such a big deal. Or, rather, it is a big deal, and well worth the money; but its intrusion into the life of Joe Average is nil. Whereas it's been used countless times against the IRA, and probably Al Qaeda. Our societies are high energy systems, and high energy systems ahve to be in either a state of natural chaotic flux (like a storm) or they have to be highly regulated. 'S just scieeeeence.
  10. What the hell is a 'vajayjay? Or is it onomatopoeic?
  11. ...Or I might just find myself wanting to launch planet busting nukes at that guy's beard. What is it with the dancing minions ? Where does one get them? Or do they simply gather around people who are singing? I quite like the 'Ponderous' song.
  12. Heh. Speaking as another chap who attracts crazy women (or someone who only crazy women will fancy) I feel your pain. On the lus side, a friend of mine insists that ALL women are crazy.
  13. Lots and lots of exercise today. Plenty of steak and rice. Beer also. Awesome.
  14. It would certainly garner PR coverage. It might actually deserve its own 'tree' of events. Possily investigating one of those big cargo ships at the docks?
  15. University of Huddersfield. Huddersfield = mythic. Love the North of England. Less BS.
  16. Does anyone know how hard it would be to mod GTA IV to have a random outbreak of zombies? My scheme would be for the zombie outbreak to be spread naturally person to person, leaving the player trying to do missions around spreading hordes of zombies. I got teh idea while flying a news helicopter around Vice City.

  18. Check the boyband. Painful, but ... well, ok, just painful. Lighthouse shenanigans... their soulful expressions make me want to fling planks of wood at them. The music itself is pretty nondescript.
  19. "Rain Rain Rain" doesn't seem to capture it.
  20. Congratuladles. Hope for your sake you didn't work too hard.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q9Ds9gz2VI...442&index=8 I've been trying for years to work out the name of this song. Anyone know it? Or is it simply improv? EDIT: Funny how you answer your own questions when you share them... I googled the lyrics, and came up with rain rain rain. EDITED AGAIN: No, no it isn't.
  22. OK, I'm listening to that now. That's my total for today, I think. EDIT: I assume the glassy expressions of horror on the faces of the singers echo my own. To cheer myself up I've just listened to . Stick with it. It gets seriously impressive.
  23. Actually, scratch that. I just remembered Kriss Kross.
  24. Souljah boy. Just when I thought rap had sunk as low as possible since the giddy heights of the early nineties... a novelty dance.
