I firmly believe that dreams are your best advisor. However, they need to be understood by disciplined analysis. The key is to understand that dreams are contextual and symbolic. The ancients thought that (for example) a pyramid or a snake had a fixed meaning. But I believe this is total bollocks. If I am a 16 year old girl pacifist and I dream of an assault rifle that is very different to Woldan dreaming of one. Indeed, Woldan wouldn't even begin to dream of a generic rifle. It would be a specific type of rifle, and the type would be important. If I may enjoy the luxury of psychoanalysis sans frontiers, I would suggest that Woldan is a chap who is often training and learning. He checks what he does. Viz the shooting and handloads and so forth. This is the school motif. But your secondary motifs are about being trapped. I suggest that your subconscious feels you are being trapped by seeking approval. Your waking motif is water, which is a formless unstoppable element. You need to be more fluid and unconstrained. My god this merlot is strong.

Full time score: 1-1 Match rating 15/20 A great game of bloodbowl, some real chances taken, not always successfully, thanks to the raw nature of the teams. One all a good end to a hard fought game, with plenty of sportsmanlike fouling. First half was characterised by a measured drive by the Khemri team. The Scorps took their time trying to do as much damage as possible along the way, only touching down at the last moment to avoid ceding control of the ball. Luckily the baby oil I had _personally_ applied to the amazon team paid off in more ways than one. Dodge skill meant that despite two-up blocks, very few hurts were felt. If this had been a less agile team we would have been creamed. As it was, by half time one permanent injury, and half the team were KO'd. Shortly before half time, a wily tackle lead to one of the khemri being taken off injured. This left a hole in their ranks which allowed for concentration of force, and subsequent exploitation. A spirited Sonatine counter attack ended in a touchdown, but there wasn't time to achieve another. In the end, some good management, few mistakes made. I pity the poor bastard that tries to take on the Scorps next. EDIT: Tragically the merlot wasn't given time to breathe, so the first glass was awful. Also it's merlot. What the funt was I thinking?

That's a wee bit harsh, Tale. ~ The classic way to pitch any proposal is: situation, complication, resolution. This means 1) How things stand right now, overview. 2) What means things won't, or shouldn't carry on as they are now. This is where the guy you are talking to gets interested. Because these should be THEIR concerns, or an elaboration of them. 3) What the solution will do _in general terms_. Don't get all technical. So, for example, [i'm pulling this out of my ear, so feel free to mock] Games sales although strong, appear to have polarised into a tiny number of big budget games, and swathes of smaller releases. Further fragmentation has occurred as some gamers move to mobile devices. The difficulty for games studios is that financiers are looking for big budget success stories, but are unforgiving when they fail to materialise. Smaller releases, rather than being seen as low risk, are seen as too low a payout. This means games studios are running huge risks on uncertain markets. The solution to this problem is to create a number of small releases which testbed innovative game mechanics, and gamer groups; but which later can be integrated as a single combined big budget release, using celebrity appearances and high level marketing. This way risk is apportioned in small doses, but bigger investors may still be interested. ~ You see, Voidbearer, the key is to think not why YOU want to do the project. But why the bloke on the other side of the table wants to do it.

I can and do respect your honesty n saying that you _hope_ you would have the integrity to resist your urges, if you had gone down that road (however that happens). If I may draw an analogy without being too crass, we used to talk about courage and cowardice in barracks when I was training. Obviously all the young lads were full of beans and claimed to be fearless heroes. Most of the older gents like me were more circumspect. Our consensus was that you just didn't know how you'd swing when push came to shove. The same perspective as yours? Not at all. Neither group would have been any more forgiving than the other if someone had showed a yellow streak. If anything the understand old geezers would probably have been harsher. Does that makes sense, or should I elaborate?

I enjoy wine and ale on the same basis as I enjoy food: flavour and company.
