"reconaissance" doesn't work, because of Bastila and Revan on board.

There is no good explanation why Bastila and Revan, the most important people for the republic were alone near Taris. I agree that may be the ship was traveling to Dantoine in order to restore Revan's power. The sith new about Bastila and decided to trap her. (nothing about Revan, we know Malak was thinkihn he/she is death). There is a technical problem - the travel to Dantoine is in hyperspace, so sith may had used some interceptor field (like Leviatan on EbonHawk) in order to "extract" EndarSpire from hyperspace. But also a mathematical problem arises: the probability of a travel from one planet to another (Dantoine) to intersect some in-between planet (Taris), taking into account the space "size" is zero. Which means that EndarSpire was near Taris out of hiperspace on its own will to do something. Which again doesn't make sence ...

I think the idea of the chinocles is just to prepare us for the current events, to know why we visit this and that planet in K2, and so on.

It is not necessary to give all skills to the PC, some can be given to NPCs (e.g. demolition, computer, security). This will make NPCs much more valuable

"The Matrix" effects (slo-mo and fast camera rotation) are really good, but if implemented in a game it must be an option. BTW I think slow motion is really overused, but camera rotation is not.

The idea is good, the only problem is if Obsidian is the most appropriate place

I think the xbox version is already in LA - they need time to prepare the marketing and distribution.

If these missions are well designed, and not happen too often, it is good !

May be the best solution is to play the game without any guide for the first time, and when you play the second time use a guide in order to find what you've missed.

The games are not comparable: you can not compare flight simulator with FPS with RPG.

They are too busy with Jade Empire, Dragom Age, etc. Also taking into accout the good contacts between Feargus and Bioware CEOs, is a good way giving business to Obsidian.
