The PS3 without a HD? Guess what the Xbox 360 ...
EnderAndrew replied to Drakron's topic in Computer and Console
The only feature that we know that was cut do the the XBox was hoods going up and down. The XBox provided small graphical limitations. LucasArts could have spent another year on development and made a killer XBox 360 title, but they opted for a cheap and quick development. -
With people like Pat Robertson doing the Lords good work in the name of democracy? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 290 million people shouldn't be judged by one individual. Your tactics do not amuse me.

Here is another theory I found: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- On the Charlie Fans Thread it was mentioned that Locke and Ethan could be working together. I agree with this and wanted to go more in depth with it. For instance, it could be very likely that when Locke was out hunting he ran into Ethan. I guess because of Locke's skills they bonded and then him and Locke devised some plan to steal Claire's baby for whatever reason... Here's why i think this: 1. When Hurley starts doing the Manifest he goes to the caves and is asking questions. Locke starts asking what he's doing and by the look on his face he doesn't seem to happy about it. Later, when Hurley asks his info he stays very stand-offish. If he and Ethan were working together, he would know that Ethan wouldn't be on the flight manifest and their plot would be found. 2. When they are chasing after Ethan Jack wants to go immediately, but Locke stalls and goes back to the camp, knowing that Jack can't find Ethan without him. His demeanor here really reminds me of the scene where he convinces Sayid that Sawyer is that one that knocked him on the head. 3. Once they do find the trail he wants them to stick together on the false trail, he didn't want Jack to follow Charlie's finger things. Again, if him and Ethan were working together he would want to delay the search party or least it off in the wrong direction as much as possible. 4. He builds the craddle for Claire to build her trust 5. He appears in Claire's dream right before she is captured 6. He tries to convince Boone not to go with him on the hunt for Ethan, so he could be alone (persumably he could then team up with Ethan and do whatever) 7. It still seems implassible that Ethan could carry off Charlie and Claire together by himself. Interestingly enough, when Jack mentions this Locke sides steps this question and asks why he would carry them off. 8. Maybe Ethan had help when he killed the guy on the beach, which could've very well been Locke. 9. I think at first he thought Claire's baby was the child that was important to the island, but later on he bonds more with Walt (when he teached him to throw knives) and realize Walt is the special child. He then allows Ethan to be killed by Charlie, so nobody knows that he was involved (Ethan was maybe another sacrifice to the island in this respect).

The PS3 without a HD? Guess what the Xbox 360 ...
EnderAndrew replied to Drakron's topic in Computer and Console
Even when the PC overtakes consoles again in overall power, consoles will still be considerably cheaper. The fact that a $300 console can provide more power right now than a $2,000 gaming PC is saying something. And if you don't care for consoles, then don't read or post in console threads. -

There is more. So the 7800GTX sells for $600 where as the PS3 will likely be in the $300-$400 range and have a more powerful GPU overall. http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/9132/PlaySta...n-GeForce-7800/ -
Does Revan's fate make any sense?

Isn't The Truth Alan Iverson? -
When I bought my video card, I got 17 "shovelware" games, but many of them were quite good like Prince of Persia, XIII and Myst IV.

Design of the stadium is important as well. When I went to the Rose Bowl, I managed to get decent seats, but the seats were very spread out in a bowl shape with plenty of space around you. This made the game quite comfortable, but I imagine those in the back of the bowl got a poor view of the field. Memorial Stadium in Lincoln has people sitting right on top of one another. This is good during the cold games during the winter, and works in an environment where people are quite cordial. To others, this might seem a bit claustraphobic. However, it makes the stadium feel a lot smaller, and thusly you can get a good view even in the worst seats, as I can attest. Yankees Stadium, as much as I hate the Yankees, was built very similiar. The stadium is very vertical, and I imagine anywhere you sit you'd get a good view.

Pomeroy - Rebound

There is always Dragon Age.

If you like that song, you need to check out Pomeroy's cover of The Devil Went Down To Georgia. It is great, and the CD is only $8.00 http://www.freshtracksmusic.com/catalog.as...Hip+Hop&eid=319

http://datatools.eventseats.com/texasam/sectionlist.cfm There are tickets currently available. I can't even find the last time Texas A&M sold-out their stadium. They are 11th in the country in attendance. Nebraska has sold out EVERY SINGLE GAME since 1962. Try again.

Atton jokes. Carth just gets on your case.

They said the game isn't a sequel. This won't be IWD3, but more likely an Action RPG set in Icewind Dale.

The show creators haven't said anything about what the numbers mean. It may be a coincidence, and it may be where they did in fact actually get the numbers from. Either way, the numbers do in fact coincide with jersey numbers retired by the Yankees, and I believe the Yankees to be the root of all evil.

Atris betraying the Jedi Council?
EnderAndrew replied to Claw's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Given that there is cut content to suggest originally that Atris was Darth Traya, Kreia would have gone with you to fight her. But it makes more sense to be rid of your "mentor" and confront your mentor. I'm glad Atris wasn't Traya. I think Atris should have had some role in the end-game. I think the concept of her character is fine, but poorly executed, as with Nihilius. -
I played Wind Waker for 5 minutes in a kiosk and was really unimpressed with the visual style. I felt like I was playing a cartoon aimed at 5 year olds. Games like XIII were 3D, fluid, animated stylized versions of 2D graphics. It played and looked like a comic book. I don't mind that. I mind the horrid kiddie style of Wind Waker.

I didn't play FF X-2 nor do I intend to.

The PS3 without a HD? Guess what the Xbox 360 ...
EnderAndrew replied to Drakron's topic in Computer and Console
If the D-Skins are cheap I'll likely pick some up for my PS2 games, but my XBox games are all on the HDD now. I think it's funny how M$ was talking about how they alone are ushering in the HD era. They said a future console absolutely needs a HDD, an that the HD era also means wireless. Does the XBox 360 come with a wireless headset or controller? No. Does the XBox 360 support 1080p? No. Does the XBox 360 play high-def movies? No. Does the XBox 360 support next-gen DVD formats? No. Does the XBox 360 come with a HDD? No. Where is Epiphany again? -
The limited edition preorder copies that were supposed to sell out right away are still sitting on store shelves. Jade Empire was estimated to be a huge hit, and underperformed. There is little denying that or they wouldn't have made so many limited edition copies. I think that Bioware is unfairly worshipped by some, and unfairly bashed by others.

Anyone want to speculate on what is in the hatch or what is going on with the "monster"? David Shore has said since day 1 that there is a logical explanation for everything on the island. I believed that until I saw the season finale where we physically saw the monster. Yet in retrospect, I am not sure we saw the monster on screen. When Locke was face-to-face with it, he smiled and acted as if it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. It also spared his life. When he was face-to-face with again later, he reacted in horror. Are there multiple "monsters" on the island, or does it change shape and appearance? Do we see it how we want to see it?

Newegg is usually the cheapest or pretty close to being the cheapest, but they ship really fast.

I'd like to say on the whole that I really tend to agree with Baley's taste in music.

I think GoA is getting back to his roots and waxing nostalgic towards his childhood.

What is the topic? Given the first post was about flag waving, yet others contend the true issue that diverged is democracy, but people now want to talk about crime and punishment, I don't know where the debate stands. I maintain my earlier stand that I think it is silly that a majority or superpower is not allowed to take pride in themselves, while a minority or underdog is allowed to. Imagine how you would react seeing someone yell "Black Power" as opposed to "White Power". For what it is worth, I think Democracy is the greatest form of government we have, and without Democracy, there is little to protect one's rights and freedoms. Russia has reverted on basic rights in the wake of terrorism, as has England, yet while in the US we still have basic freedoms of speech, we act like the sky is falling and scream about the Patriot Act which doesn't really take any basic rights away. We are quite arguably the most free nation on Earth, as well as the nation that brought Democracy and freedom to the rest of the world. People keep maintaining that only an idiot would take pride in this country. I disagree. Only an idiot would say we are a country without flaw. Many of our flaws are not unique to this nation, while some are. But despite our flaws, I remain unabashedly unashamed of my country and I was proud to wear the uniform of a US Marine. I would like to quote myself from a previous thread on a similar topic: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=35418&hl=
