I know the forums have been quieter on the whole since the NWN:2 boards went by the wayside, but this place is absolutely silent tonight. What should we discuss?

I take it you didn't play LS? You meet the Jedi Masters and they explain why they didn't go to war with the Madalorians, and why you were Exiled. They knew there would be other repercussions from so many deaths, and that it would affect the Jedi via the Force. They were especially concerned with the Exile because of his/her ability to form bonds within the Force, and that the Exile being around so much death could affect several people around him/her. They explained how the Exile had become a wound in the Force, that if exploited could threaten all Jedi, and the Force itself. They didn't cut you off from the Force initially, but this time around they did want to cut you off from the Force. Kreia steps in and kills all the Jedi Masters.

Playing as a Weapon Master I had more than enough Force Powers, and plenty of Force Points. Why go Jedi Master?

I think Monte Cook's Champion class from Arcana Unearthed is a much better class than a Paladin. It offers more variety where one can become a Champion for Good, Evil, Law, Chaos, a certain Diety, etc.

I'm shocked at how often I'm reading everything sucks in this thread, and Groin isn't to blame.

It looks nothing like Rebellion as far as gameplay goes.

It is Microsoft backed so the marketing machine will probably keep this from becomming a miserable failure. However, for once I mostly agree with the Groin-ster.

I'm not talking about drastic changes in focus. Here's a real photo. Here is a screenshot. In the screenshot, there are a few things that keep us from photorealism. With next-gen consoles and PC gaming we are going to be able to get full anti-aliasing, lose the jaggies, and get higher res textures, and better models. When you improve all of those, the only thing really left is focus.

Will there be options for melee characters like Physical Adepts or Street Samurai? Will Shamans and Mages be represented? If you just want a pure shooter, then why use Shadowrun?

That is easier on the eyes already. And each turn you can go one step further and color the 8 empires.

The NHL will be looking at some rules to raise scoring in the game, so that should help guys like Messier.

Volourn thinks JE takes 20-30 hours to beat, and defends the NWN OC. Egad.

I think new players are going have to learn something new no matter what, whether it is a standard map or not. Migrant is difficult to read because it isn't color coded, but that could be fixed. The map is a little too sterile however. It does look perfectly balanced, but it would elimnate the fun roleplay of representing a nation.

Don't say that infront of Lancer. You'll lose Lancer influence!

The Camarilla is the official White Wolf fan club. There are thousands of members and they run a big international game. Your character can be played anywhere in the world you travel to that has a Camarilla chapter. Players keep in contact via email and mailing lists in addition to playing at their local games. It makes for a very unique and in-depth roleplaying experience to know that your actions in a game in Phoenix can affect players in Australia.

Honestly I really like the World of Darkness and their 9 attributes. They work rather well.

That's a lovely thought for when your supposed romance interest dies.

For me I believe it may have been a traumatic experience.
