Affleck chooses bad scripts. In a few movies he is actually quite good, especially when he works with Kevin Smith. Check out Good Will Hunting, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jersey Girl. I've also heard really good things about Truth, Justice and the American Way that he just finished filming with Adrian Brody.

I tend to agree. I like knowing why things are being closed. And let me say for the record, I am happy to see more threads being pruned rather than being closed.

It depends what the story of the new PC is, but I agree.

Keanu was absolutely horrid in Much Ado about Nothing, but decent in films like the Devil's Advocate and Hardball. Overall he is a pretty mediocre actor.

Some threads are just Baley spamming the B word and that isn't entertaining at all, however some spam threads really are entertaining.

The game certainly wasn't a waste or people wouldn't still be talking about it. Certain aspects were disappointing, but there were some really good aspects of it.

If it is implemented at all (I doubt LucasArts would ever approve it) then I prefer a Morrowind style approach. I don't think Fallout even told you when you killed plot-specific NPCs. Then again, if you really wanted too, you could skip 95% of the Fallout games and beat them with just a few actions.

I agree on both counts. Too bad we haven't gotten a good Alien movie since.

Most of the names mentioned here aren't going to do a TV show. I nominate all roles to be played by Abe Vigoda.

While I don't necessary care to see a feature where we kill everyone, I am certainly opposed to allowing you to beat the game when you kill any NPC. That is near impossible to script for. Killing plot-specific NPCs is always a bad thing.

Double-sided is so much better. You get more damage, and you get the full benefits of your best upgrades and crystals with each strike. With two sabers, the smaller saber does less damage, and likely has inferior crystals and upgrades, since you have to put seperate crystals and upgrades across two sabers. And GoA needs to get his mind out of the gutter. :darque:

Jade Empire is an excellent rental, and RPGs shouldn't be rentals.

I'd like to note that I generally purchase all consoles each generation and I believe that makes be a bit objective in the matter. I also have no qualms admitting the XBox as superior hardware in this generation. I don't understand why XBox fanbois can't admit the PS3 appears to be superior in the hardware categories.

Which project are you working on?

I won't really get too much into plot until we have a full group of players. I wasn't really planning to start tomorrow but some people have asked if we can get together tomorrow, and I'm not opposed to perhaps doing preludes and smaller scenes tomorrow. I might run a small encounter to get people familiar with the rules and such. I didn't hear anyone else offer to GM or start a second game for Europeans.
