i kinda found the story in kotor1 very monotonous. even the big twist was incredibly obvious (i figured it out when i first spoke to the jedi council!!!) if you remove all the sidequests, kotor1 takes me about 6 hours at MOST! first playthrough of kotor2 i found the story kinda boring, but thats coz i skipped through half of the conversations and never really payed attention to what was being said. after playing through a second time, i played close attention to the dialogue, and i have to admit, it intrigued me. i have to say i liked kotor2's storyline better than kotor1, in part because it forced you to look beyond the normal light/dark ideas. i admit that it was listening to jolee's dialogue in kotor1 that started me on the path, but kotor2's storyline continued it in a lot of depth

come on, be serious here. she was a mandalorian slave when she was younger, she had no one to turn to, no one to trust. then when she finally escaped and became a bounty hunter, she was still very much alone. its not until she actually starts to travel with the exile that she realises that he/she is someone she can begin to trust. *sigh* wait a minute!! oh noes!!! ive converted completely to the fanboy side!!

personally id be fine with just soldier/scout/scoundrel and guardian/sentinal/consular then again.... i suppose there would need to be nonjedi prestige classes, otherwise it could be a bit unbalanced

manoeuvring flaps.... if i remember correctly, they are in tier 3 (same place where you go to meet the twilek contact for the bith scientist) power cell is from the lassavou (sp?) quest two different airspeeder navigation interfaces; one from killing kodin, one from tien tubbs place (its in one of the plasteel cylinders)

yeah the whole issue with hk47 kinda left me wondering "how come the dudes on peragus find the hk50 on the ebon hawk, but not hk47 as well?" i always thought that revan sent t3m4 back in the ebon hawk to find the exile (hk47 never really gets mentioned) and he went to malachor V, which is where kreia joined the party after getting the **** beaten outta her by sion

i heard something about this problem being introduced with a patch (dunno, i havent patched mine) only thing remotely similar that i have experienced is atton staying by the elevator, but everything was fine once i spoke to kreia (she was in the force cage, but he wasn't) i think theres something you can dload to fix the problem. someone is bound to post a link for you

i usually end up about level 32 or 33 but thats because i kill everything, recover all mines, use security whenever i can, do all the sidequests i can find, etc

single bladed blue kinda neutral/light sided in kotor1 i usually went with a violet saber, but ever since playing kotor2 its been blue

female dark side ending in kotor1 if you do the carth romance, you get to kill him on the star forge. or of you choose not to, bastila kills him carth ONLY appears in kotor2 if you set revan as light sided!! anyway, so what if you can only kill them when the plot allows you. if you dont like them THEN DONT USE THEM!!

influencing handmaiden is still really easy if your darksided, coz most of the influence you get with her is by sparring, and thats not ls/ds related

HATED: bastila, wookies (how long does it take to say a single sentence?!?!) liked: jolee, hk47 (version 2.0 :D ), mission, atton, mira, crazy swoop rodian on onderon indifferent about everyone else although i did like G0T0 and hanharr a bit, coz they had quite interesting stories

physical damage!! i'm not entirely sure, but i think it resists that too!! :D

umm... have you even PLAYED kotor2?! kill a main character?! how about KREIA!!!!! and in kotor1, carth is a pretty major character and you can kill him!

today i found a good substitute for the circlet of saresh, and its not ls/ds specific!! the force focusing band (i think thats what its called) +4 wisdom, +1 charisma, +2 force regeneration (i think i remembered the stats correctly...) oh yeah, about the droid assassination rifle, its not all that great. its pretty much a disrupter rifle that gives you the sniper shot feats. but it IS upgradeable, which is good i was stuffing round with the "give item" doodah today, and i have come to the conclusion that there are some REALLY good droid items! eg droid capacitor armor (hk47 only) 13 to defence and 50% energy immunity!!! (some other immunities too, but energy is the important one. laugh at dudes with sabers!)

yeah i managed it in my first dsm play through she stabbed herself in the chest with her purple double bladed saber that i gave her it made me sad.... but i was playing as a dark sider, so i thought i should go for it
