  1. Hm You're a pegasus. You're very calm and loving. Something about you makes others want to get close to you, whether or not you feel the same way about them. You don't bond to others easily, but when you do it's long-lasting. Your alignment is *good*, but not so much that you can't have fun.
  2. you are so incredibly insightful! outcast soundtrack - shamazaar
  3. And Jesus was a complete narcissist, loving everything and everyone equally? Strange definition of identity I sometimes wonder wether stupid people are more likely to become conservative politicians, or if conservative politicians are actually intelligent enough to be betting on the support of the less intelligent part of the population.
  4. Toyota and Honda are huge sellers in the USA. Toyota and Honda also make several lines of trucks and SUV's. As has been explained before, there are considerable differences living in a vast country which is more rural than urban which makes vehicles capable of ferrying more than four people at a time in wildly different weather extremes more of a necessity than a luxury. Oh yeah, SUVs are totally useful! No really! I mean it! There are so many reasons why they are a must-have! And only people who really need them have them! Ok, my country may be an extreme case of SUV and "sports" car use (I mean, the terms SUV and sports car alone already imply their uselessnes), but I think there's a global trend to buy these overly heavy, high air and/or roll resistance, dangerous to smaller vehicles, pedestrians and cyclers, type of cars. I have no idea what this has to do with the stock market (which here currently is wildly fluctuating - chance to make big money, or lose it all, if you're stupid enough), but it's always a fun theme to discuss
  5. this threads is getting so full of displays of intelligence...
  6. nooo, keep up the trip hop! burzum and other ns crap, are the reason why good festivals being visited by ns skins  nine inch nails - eraser
  7. helium vola - lucente stella
  8. samael - on earth dancing with the heathen tribe
  9. That's what I thought, too... Anyway, I'm glad I haven't seen many movies starring him, because his death would have felt more than a little strange then, I think. I hope he had happy and content times in this life.
  10. Huh? You can judge that from from postings made on a forum?
  11. Bin Jip. A corean movie. The main characters don't talk, so I was close to tap on my gf's nerves and talk during the movie. But I could resist, and very much liked it. If this was DnD, the main character would by the end.
  12. Yes, I was happy with that one, too. Nice, big artbook, soundtrack, map (nightwish single is available online) Still playing Disciples 2. Addictive!
  13. apoptygma berzerk - eclipse electronic music can sound good even in its low-complexity form. always cool to see live, but youtube videos don't sound good enough portishead - over I just love their self titled album good night!
  14. die krupps - fatherland (on the chris rohn program on sanctuary radio)
  15. If you have a laptop, you can't just add the usual ram sticks. Consult your manual, what kind of Ram your laptop can handle, and how many free slots there are. Depending on your hardware, dual channel access (making the laptop noticably faster) could be enabled only when adding an identical additional module.
  16. finished the third and last term paper, about humor, irony, satire and parody certain texts by joseph roth
  17. being jewish doesn't mean you can't be anti semitic. there even were jewish germans who supported the ns, after all. also, no religion can prevent a**holes from sh***ing
  18. saw the clip to that yesterday dornenreich - her von welken n
  19. Hm, not quite, I put it a bit strange there. The two cards of the GF9800GX2 are not connected via PCI-E, but with some other connection between the two PCBs. This is not necessarily slower than if they were on the same PCB where they could communicate via some internal connection. This connected "bundle" of cards then is put into one PCI-E slot. The ATI version doesnt take up so much space vertically and probably uses less power (but this remains to see) because it's only one PCB, and the heat dissipation should be better. These are the points where I think ATI did a better job than nVidia. This dual-chip card also uses one PCI-E slot. Hope this claryfies it until the cards come out and we see what it all really means
  20. Wasn't this used before? This approach, like statistical learning for some other kinds of programs, seems pretty straightforward and a logical thing to implement for AIs. I hope I'll get some academic insight into this topic soon at the University...
  21. Hm yeah, more time to tie up the lose ends is always good. And so is getting more money from people paying for two movies
  22. Hm, the latest Harry Potter film didn't really seem so good to me, too much stuff in too little time, while still much was left out that would've been nice or interesting, important even... I wanted to watch the rest of In The Woods, but they've taken it off youtube. Sucks, because there was no other way I could find to get to a copy of that So I've seen The Cooler on TV instead. Nobody plays a likeable loser like William H. Macy.
  23. Daaave, sorry to have confused you. I just felt the urge to write some intelligent sounding stuff, kind of a version of the tourette syndrome. I want to live in bat country too, if there's batcave. Ah, lame :/ First I worked for some hours, and was really unhappy the way Photoshop 5.5 handles (or rather, doesn't handle) text. Up to now I wrote some more pages for my term paper. I must say it makes the paper a bit difficult if people don't use humor or irony but something else that is difficult to classify... Finally, just now, I refreshed my memory of latin.
  24. (salutant ) It's a correct sentence, too. "We moribund salute you" instead of "The moribund salute you" Did you mean "ad capitem"? Also, I'd choose the intense "iaculari" (to throw) instead of "mittere" (to send), or even the funny phrase of "caput petere lapide" (to try to catch/to aim for/[enter ten other translations here]... the head with a stone, change "lapide" to "saxo" to change stone to rock). group necrophilia, yay!
